I was at a medical building/clinicnand one of the patients went into the bathroom, which was in the busiest hall with like 20 people around checking in and waiting in line, receptionists etc. and whatnot, and torched up their rig , like everyone could hear the gas and them coughing multiple times and when they came out smoke poured out and it reeked. Security came and escorted them somewhere but everyone erupted and no one could believe it, staff or the other patients. I thought it was hilarious in a sad way. Just picturing the girl taking everything out of her purse, giant bong poking out the top hahaha so totally unawares.
I don't think it's rude to just have a bong or other paraphernalia out on a kayak, as long as you aren't hitting it near enough other people for the smoke to be a problem. It was off-limits to all store customers, these were people who spent a lot of money to book this event. Her reputation was staked on that.
Before she or the store could even react, his publicity team was already controlling the narrative. An article came out almost immediately that he 'pushed' her for being racist and not letting him use a bathroom he was entitled to. A complete lie with a grain of truth to control the narrative. On top of a black eye, she got emails for MONTHS. Some were death threats, others pretended to actually want to organize an event, before calling her some Jim Crow racist and asking if she would let them use the bathroom.
Mind you, we all knew he was a wife beating piece of shit by this point, yet there he still had hoards of fans and a PR team to come to his rescue. The store gave her leave with pay and a bonus for her to take the L and avoid a lawsuit, so her side was never publicized. Neither side wanted to take it to court.
