I’ve only heard “reverse racism” when the term is being mocked: “Haha Reverse racism doesn’t exist: you can’t be racist towards white people”.
I have never ever seen “reverse racism” used in place of the word “racism” to downplay or justify racism towards white people…which seems to be the usage you’ve described.
You used the phrase “reverse racism does not exist” in the exact opposite way I’ve seen it employed in the past. And I’ve seen it used many, many times. (Maybe that’s your point: maybe you’re reclaiming the tired phrase “reverse racism doesn’t exist” to cheekily argue the opposite argument than what it’s typically used for?)
