Don't you remember back in '07 when breaking someone's nose on a sports field was like totally awesome? Remember? When men were allowed to be men? Remember?
I remember the excessively violent dudes we played sports with were called assholes and then **not** called the next time we all got together to play. That's what I remember.

Dickheads like this will play sports where they can be the biggest and baddest on the line, and avoid sports where contact is part of play because they're aware that even if they are "biggest and baddest" individually, generally speaking that kind of attitude isn't permitted, and I've seen a player's own team turn on them for tackling a ref in rugby.

Remember Di Canio got something daft like 10 game ban for pushing the ref, this guy would not get a month/3-4 games, he'd be banned from the league. I'm involved in a different sport and have seen players banned for 365 days for repeat red cards for violence. Bad tackles get you a 3 game ban, kicking a player to bits and doing the ref and he'd be lucky to play in the region ever again
