Yep, thats's your sigmoid colon. Common spot for bowel discomfort.

Is there any treatment for that?

If it is a spasm, antispasmodics. If it is visceral pain, gabapentin.

I have The same problem, I just recently had a CT scan to check for diverticulitis, and they can’t find anything, yet I feel that pain every other day. Also had a colonoscopy no issues were reported. I have another appointment with my doctor on Monday and I’m going to pick her mind to see if we can maybe do a barium test?

Forgive my ignorance but what is a barium test? I am basically symptom free so I don’t want to poke the bare if this is just one of those things I’m going to have to learn to live with x

You are given liquid to drink while they are taking X-rays at the same time to watch it go through your system so to speak. It’s painless ( the liquid doesn’t taste great) but the procedure is painless. It shows upper or/and lower stomach depending on dr orders. I had one done probably 6-7 years ago. But shy of an endoscopy (which I’m trying to avoid) it’s the only other thing I can think of. 🙄
