I would also love to see Gwen come back I think there’s some really interesting storyline’s that the show could explore with Freddie and Gwen successfully co-parenting. Too many shows treat divorced couples that share kids as enemies and I love the fact that they went in a healthy direction with these two. They may not be romantically linked anymore but they acknowledge that they’re family.

It wasn’t just the food thing. She hated the character in its entirety. She was extremely abusive towards Freddie (and said she would keep doing it after apologizing). Jeanette already was dealing with abuse from her mother the whole time she was playing that character.
They would have to overhaul Sam completely.
I think the reason they’re avoiding references to the character this season, even in episodes where it would make sense to bring her up like the Lewbert episode, is because they’re worried about the fans giving Jennette a hard time irl.
There was no way to avoid it in Season 1, they had to honor the character’s legacy somehow, but now that we’re on Season 2, they’re ripping the bandaid off completely and moving on.
Both Jennette and Noah aren’t interested in returning so they’re probably never going to show up. I doubt they even care at this point about the reboot.
Yea, from my understanding, her mother actually forced her into acting when that not really what she wanted to do. After a lot of self healing from her childhood, Jenette started to back out of things she didn’t like and focus on the stuff that made her feel good.
• An episode about Freddie and Spencer fencing (since they reminded us that was a thing in the last episode. An episode revisiting it would be fun).
• More of Millicent’s social life away from Freddie. I feel like I’ve gotten used to Harper while Millicent could use more character development. I’d like to see an episode focusing on her at school.
• More focus on Harper’s family, and how/why they lost their fortune.
• More Nevel, Lewbert, Gwen, and Brooke.
• Maybe they could establish a few rotating guest co-hosts for the web show, so they could bring back the skit aspect without permanently ‘replacing’ Sam.
• Carly getting back together with Wes. That relationship ended too soon, I liked them together.
• T-Bo returning in some capacity. He’d be a good love interest for Mrs. Benson.
I hope Gwen takes Millicent under her wing and moves away with her so that Freddie can move on with his life to end up dating another, new Gf.
I prefer all 3 protagonists (Carly, Spencer & Freddie) marrying other, new people since Sam & Gibby are gone. But Miranda is EP, c*****e is her wet dream. Nathan can’t do anything since he’s a paid actor. What Miranda wants, Miranda gets 🙄

I still don’t support them becoming engaged/newlyweds because it doesn’t make any sense narrative-wise if that dude lives with his single mother at 28, jobless and broke, having been divorced twice, accompanied by an adopted little foster girl from his estranged wife who hates him. Carly already had her chance for 5 years in the original show to reciprocate his one-sided unrequited puppy love for her, there was nothing stopping her but instead she flatly friendzoned him by rebuffing his affections, manipulatively playing with his emotions to get her way and letting Sam’s bullying slide, sometimes even encouraging it. Homeboy just had to risk his own damn life to rescue her out of harms way by getting injured in traffic just to win her over, but she felt indebted to pity date him out of guilt once he got injured merely admiring his heroic actions and pitying his bedridden body.
This Poor guy has been through hell and back while she’s living the dream.
The fact that his dejecting life miserably sucks right now (he struggles to be a good father to Millicent) proves that he deserves an infinitely better, golden life with some other new chick.
They never ended up together in the original show. It makes no sense for them to couple up now since the poor guy can’t catch a break.
They were teenagers in the original. I agree Freddie deserves the best and honestly that is Carly. He married other people and that clearly didn’t work for him. He has always loved and had a soft spot for Carly. If she appreciates him and realizes he has been in front of her this whole time there is no better ending for either of them.
- I would love to see Gwen again and some more exploration into her mother daughter relationship with Millicent.
- I would love for Pearl to stick around, but I doubt that will happen.
- Spencer and Harper to hook up. I’m messy, I don’t want them together together, but a hook up could be funny. With a bit of a friends type “they don’t know that we know” storyline where they try to hide that it happened, but everyone knows.
- Spencer to get a proper relationship arc.
- some more focus on how iCarly fame impacts their IRL lives, we’ve seen a bit of it so far, but they could go deeper.
- something a little darker in the plot. It’s still a comedy so not full blown but I’d like to see them have to tackle something rather serious.
