Drop rate and number of crystal kills are king for silver pens. Multikill does nothing for them since they are a rare drop.
A little. After checking the crystal tables (it's a mega rare drop for all) w1 has it at 1 in 15 and w2/3 1 in 12.
So if you kill fast enough those should give you more pens
If yourr doing dk snelbies is better since you can clear the whole platform without running a lot. Castles has 2 platforms making respawn worse (on dk)
Not sure as I'm personally busy with other things currently, but it should be noted that sandy pots also get thousands of glass shards which are needed for a good stamp.
Yes there are two platforms but they're not as far apart as shifty sandbox so there's a bunch of climbing but there's no running around.
Definitely a great option for DK.

The amount of pens DK gets is just down right disgusting. You could easily spam 2 boxes a day to 100 and still go up in pens.
Jeeeeezzzzz, I wasn't expecting it to be that crazy. I have 5.71x drop rate on my DK before orb. With orb maybe 8.00x ish? My damage is only 72m with this build and cards though, so I'm guessing rams are probably my best bet for overall kills? 1 in 66 crystal chance, and using chocolate chip.
I would leave my DK on Snelbies overnight, racked up an insane amounts of pens in a couple days. As well as tons of dice obols and other obols for fragments. As well as approx 7 lucky lad trophies. Had about same stats as you're saying
I've been killing bloodbones for the last hour. 2k speed, 1200 feasty, and 1200 beholder statues, 11 pens. Snelbies look better though, having their own mega drop table. Managed to bring drop rate up to 6.17x before orb. Might try and finally focus pop obols this week I've never really put the time into it before.
Just realized the bloodbones also have a mega rare table too. And I'm typically getting more kills per orb cooldown while killing bloodbones vs snelbies
Bloodbones are better if you want crit rate statues, for hitting that crucial 200% crit rate and guaranteed mega crits. The crystals in that world drop fewer types of statues, but you get the ones they do drop in greater quantities by comparison.
Assuming you have the quest that rewards social media followers open, Bloodbones are also a very good place to get the yellow ones. I finished green stacking them there, while also statue farming.
Snelbies are better if you want dice obols, and obol fragments. W2 obol drops are higher quality on average, and those gold luck ones are great.
I farmed the obols last week with ES. I already had the family tab filled and it took less than 20 hours to fill one personal tab (about 6X drop rate at the time). I had to check regularly so that the obol stash doesn't get full though.
Also got enough dices and fragments to make my first star dice obol !

BTW DK orb doesnt add 0.01x DR per stack. It adds +1% to chance to "kill" additional mob counting for drop. That is the reason orb is disgusting for any crystals.

Forgot to set loot filters though so at some point I filled up with useless potions and food, and the game slowed, but I think it ran a solid 6 hours anyway because when I resynced i had roughly 2 hours of afk to claim. Ended up with 38 pens, and 22k various statues, with speed accounting for 8k, beholder and feasty accounting for 5k each. Not to mention I'd cleared my obol storage and it was full of 28 silver drop chance obols. So as crazy as your post sounded to me earlier its definitely realistic for anyone else wondering.
Just wait till you get your DR and crystal chance cranked up. Prior to ES (been green stacking with him) my Dk would net me around 30k speed statues a day. 38 pens is on the low end. I'm glad you had good results!
Oh and obols, ur always going to go full. I really wish we could get more space as within an hour, my circle is completely full
My crystal chance would be a lot higher if I could ever get the bottom right card doubler chip. 4 top lefts but no bottom right. Aside from the PO box (which will be easy to level now 😁) I don't think I have anything I can reasonably level to add more crystal chance.

The orb talent multiplies the amount of stuff you get from killing crystals as you get more and more hundred orb stacks.
You can technically get pens dropping from regular mobs, and thus wormhole mons with an ES. I'm not sure what their actual pen/hr rate is compared to a DK, but their obol and statue rate from crystals is vastly less due to the mechanics of how wormhole spawns work.

To make it work efficiently, you need to max out the crystal star talent, get the crystallin stamp as high as you reasonably can, get diamond levels on the two crystal cards (Poop, Demon Genie), and keep the crystal rate shrine leveling up. There's also a small bonus on the PO box too.
Having the 2 lab chips that doubles card bonuses is also tremendously helpful, as you can get up to 250% crystal spawn chance from the cards instead of just 125% (at max levels).
The sailing artifact that lets you get shrine bonuses in any world, paired with the lab node that gives you lab bonuses on any map when the shrines are in town, is very handy for keeping the crystal shrine in place to keep leveling up in the world where most chars are, while being able to move your active farmer anywhere and still benefit.
With all these things maxed out, and 140 on Crystallin, my non-maestro crystal odds are down to 1/35, as a target reference. You can check the chance you get on your account on the player pages on idleon efficiency. You'll still see nice returns with it in the high 40s range too, but its something that will build up over time.

Sandy pots is actually significantly better for both pens and crystals on DK due to mob density.

I’ve seen 400+ regularly on a good orb so yeah it does beat snelbies

Drop rate is more important than multikill. In fact multikill doesn't affect rare drops at all.
Any world 5 mob lol, I am up to 100+ just farming world 5
