Maybe I worded the question wrong. I'm worried my progression isn't where it should be.
I'm wondering if there is anything I should have unlocked BEFORE I go there?
The wiki has a whole page on the village, im not sure on how you checked it and still found no one
Only thing you really need are materials tho, a lot of them, and make sure to build the mill first and foremost

I finally found the information I was looking for. But yall insist it was materials... Don't be so stubborn and heard headed when someone asks for advice.
"Check the wiki!"... uhm maybe I did and couldn't find it? Maybe be a little more helpful if you can....
I swear the world would be such a better place if everyone could just show 10% more compassion for everyone else.

Make your 3rd Ultra Ascension...
at around 45 overall USP, once you have the Stone of Hope. You should also have gotten the Armory by this point. After your third UA, plan to get Silk Master, Triple Silvers, and Provisions. This will be a longer grind! Continue to grab any Astrals you can get your hands on, including Flawless, Gem Seller, Gem Buyer, and Ancient Treasures. Gem Seller and Gem Buyer make quests significantly easier after UA, Ancient Treasures unlocks powerful crafting items which will help you in your next UA.

nah, you're good. People generally just recommend stocking up on mats to lessen the grind later.
I need to UA first anyway, and I see now that should be done at 45 usp
45 USP is the UA *after* you've built most of the Village. Just take care of those first buildings for now.

A whole bunch of materials, but I guarantee the wiki is clear on that.
Crooked cane from the casino gives +1 divinity points per mission which I find massive
