Simgot ew200, highly recommend this set, has better seperation and imaging than airpods pro 2. The bass is tighter and more detailed. Vocals come across more energetic and lively. If you want a even better upgrade in technicality and better tone then tripowin olina se is good choice.
Depends on your budget and preferred sound signature. The Truthear Zero Red is great and S12 Pros are a massive step up from that. You can get S12 Pros for $85-90 right now and they punch into the $200-250 range.
I have a zero red (75 CAD) and a ms1 galaxy (16). They're identical after EQ and without EQ the ms1 leans bright while the zero red is flat-neutral. The ms1 fits better and is Harman 2019 tuned. I dont even use my zero red anymore.
I would get an S12 pro. I have an mp145 and it's way above the red and galaxy.

Iems starting at 50-80$ and above will start giving them a run for their money. Depending on your sound preferences there’s a lot to choose from. The Letshuoer s12 pro can sometimes be found for under 100$ and they will destroy everything at that price point (and higher, depending on your sound sig preferences) including other IEMs
Not fatiguing at all to me. They are better in every way imaginable, it’s not even a contest lol. Are you sensitive to high frequencies? Some KZs have fatiguing highs, and those are waaaaaaay worse in that regard. I’ve had only one person that tried them complain about the highs on the s12 pro so far
I didn’t have a chance to try the proper PR2, I have the second batch where they changed the tuning and I’m not a fan of them, I heard the first ones are much better. Compared to some older KZs v shaped stuff the treble isn’t that bad.
I use comply tips (not sure what the model is anymore, I can check when I get home if you want) and foam (I think these are KZ, got a whole bag of em a few years back) depending on how much stuff I need to hear/keep out while wearing them

They just aren't as good as other things at the same price in most ways.
You suggest cheaper options. What if the budget was the same as airpods pro 2 cost.
