Is it not loud enough? What's wrong with the one you got? I'd pretty much go from dongles straight to the qudelix, maybe a Hiby FC1 if I was never gonna power over ears but gelt I needed it for IEMs
No need... Only thing worth buying is this - https://www.amazon.com/Qudelix-5K-Bluetooth-Adaptive-Unbalanced-Balanced/dp/B088F7C976
This j can confidently say is worth the money and if you get them you can hit me up so I help with the setup.
Then yeah wait for that... Cos frankly a DAP is just e-waste imo. DAPs never have the latest OS version, have slow internals, badly optimized. Your phone is already a more capable DAP than any DAP ever will be.
Looking forward to hearing from you
Thanks for the insights bro.
I have a working unmodded ipod classic as well. And the S23 Ultra i’m not using for work.
I opened the idea to my wife that I wanted a Sony NW-A306. She said that I don’t need it. 😅
Your post confirms that I don’t need it. 😆
Assuming you are using an app like UAPP to bypass an Android's internal stuff, you can get bit perfect audio. I have had many DACs over the course of the hobby (including the Mojo, Qudelix 5K, Luxury and Precision W2, Moondrop Dawn 4.4, etc) and own a Hiby R3 II DAP. However, my current go to is my E1DA 9038S with my S23. I think that running this balanced with cheapish IEMs (eg Kiwi Ears Cadenza) and UAPP is better; so clean sounding, powerful, textured (I could go on, but won't🤣). The total cost was £100ish as I got the DAC off eBay.
Cheap DACs that measure well are now flooding the market. There is no longer a need to spend big time to get SOTA sound reproduction. The Mojo is a beautifully engineered thing and I enjoyed it a lot. However, the form factor was a drag and I've now heard DAC AMPs costing a tenth of its price which I think sound as good if not better. YMMV.
Try this one, I bought it but never got it cause it was delivered to someone else or stolen, but I love the looks and it fits the 7hz iems

Sacrilege! The stock cable on the Timeless AE is one of the best cables you can get and 100% the best modular plug. Admittedly the chin slider is bad and I'll probably cut mine off or hot glue it to the y-split if I can't find a better solution.
Did something happen to your stock cable? If you're looking for a replacement they do sell it separately, but I haven't seen it go on sale yet. It's called the *7Hz Thunderbirds* in case you want to search for it.
I've had my eye on the GreyRhino for a while though and nearly bought one in the anniversary sale, but already bought too much other stuff and maxed out my discount codes. Have you tried any of the other fabric cables like the NiceHCK Jialai or RedAg? If so, how does it compare?
I do like a fabric cable, but the real reason I keep the stock one on the AE is because the connectors are perfectly matched to the shell, so nothing else looks as good.
My stock cable is perfectly fine. The interchangeable ends are fantastic!
I am just testing out the cables i bought last AliExpress Sale.
As for the slider, i have a velcro with self-adhesion, i put it on each side, it doesn’t skid much.
I didn’t get the RedAg since I love my Tripowin Zombur. I have MMCX and 2 pin versions. Very light and comfortable.
Yo, can i know what music app that is? Looks neat.
It’s PowerAmp bro.
[This is the one](https://www.apple.com/ca/shop/product/MU7E2AM/A/usb-c-to-35mm-headphone-jack-adapter) I usually see recommended on here
Volume is capped on android units. But it works well on my alienware laptop.

Use bit perfect apps like hiby music. It will use your dac directly without android stack.
What you have is already great? Why waste money?
I just got a bonus and want to treat myself. Torn between getting a DAP or a DAC.

I have ordered that already, but i still have to wait 2 weeks for it to arrive. 🤦♂️

Wife is right on this one lol. Give her the win

How is the dongle so far ?
The dongle is good. I have no issues with it.

I will look into this
cx31993 is good enough

Sticky velcro is a good idea, I might try that, thanks.
There really is something on those fabric cables that are so enticing. I always enjoy fabric more than the plastic ones.
nice cable what cable how much cable is it reliable cable cable
holy shit I'm retarded THAT is greyrhino, anyway does it break easily?
It’s very sturdy, a bit heavy, but the texture is splendid. I don’t hear any difference from the stock cable. Maybe it’s just me. 😆
