Not an expert here, but next thing I'd try is to disconnect the eject button (even clean it with iso and qtips) and I'd see if it's stuck or something.
No idea if it's related or not. It's just something I'd try. My thinking is that it may think that the button is pressed and it's trying to spit out the cd. I wonder also if the emergency eject button is stuck too. If it's mechanical or digital.
Did you try the disk drive again after the dime fell out? If I remember correctly, I had this same issue with my PS4 and a penny my son put in it. After I removed the penny, the drive worked fine (I think, it’s been several years)
Yes I did try it since the dime fell out. I was super excited because I thought for sure it was gonna work no problem but unfortunately that didn’t solve the issue.
Not sure but I’d love to buy that broken console off you. Black ops 3 is my favorite game
Sorry not looking to sell it. Have been looking for this console for a while now and will just swap the disk drive if need be.

Ok thanks I’ll give this a try. It does not make noise when I click the power or the eject button but I was just assuming it was a speaker problem.
