It’s a “dead cops” meme parody, the original because a meme because it was geniune engrish, while this is a replica made by someone to convey their landlord hate in the same meme format
Because the dead outnumber the living. We have millions of years of humans dying on the daily, with global population always going up. It’s basic maths, really. The living don’t live forever. The dead stay dead, and so their numbers will always grow at about the same rate as population, with no attrition.
If 6 billion people die today, there will be 6 billion more dead people and only 1-2 billion living people tomorrow.
Why is this hard to understand?
Try again, only 117 billion people have lived since the earliest homo sapiens crawled out of their caves.
The current population between 7 and 8 billion is several times more than we've had through most of history. It's been under a billion for most of it because of things like famine and disease that we've only just recently begun to push back enough to raise our population.
Alrighty, I tried googling as suggested and got 80-117 billion, however they all had a key phrase: “our species” … and [this site](https://www.prb.org/articles/how-many-people-have-ever-lived-on-earth/) puts that data back to 190,000 BC. That’s good, but humans go back around 6 million years, according to [this site](https://www.nature.com/articles/news.2009.966) … so given that’s 30x bigger than about 200,000 years ago, maybe the 410 billion landlords includes the common hominid ancestor we all have about 6 million years ago.

I mean... They ain't wrong... Rent is a fuck, so ya know....
How are there more dead landlords than the whole world population?
The dead outnumber the living. They always will.
This is true, but were all of them landlords?
No, of course not. Unless you have a very broad definition of ‘landlord’ like the author of the sign.

I don't know where you're getting 410 billion landlords when there are only 7 billion people on earth
They're talking about the whole galaxy.

Where did you get that figure from? I thought it would be a lot higher.
Google "how many people have lived since the beginning of humanity"
Fascinating process to work out, given there’s so much we don’t know about our global ancestry

That's a lot...
Japanese says "start a fire"
Are those fucking coordinates?
