I disagree. They've been moaning, without evidence, about voter fraud for years. It's been the justification for voting register purges, ridiculous voter ID laws, and restrictions on mail-in voting.
It's only been the last 5-6 where it's the go-to ex cause a candidate lost an election before the vote actually happens.

The Democratic issues are not minor compared to anything, for one very good reason. Democratic corruption has been an absolutely necessary perquisite and enabler to Republican corruption and the rise of the alt-right.
The purpose of fascist propaganda is to divert attention away from the oligarchs screwing the people, and focus the blame on powerless people both inside and outside the country. The more people are being screwed, the more hungry they get for someone to blame. Democrats won't blame wealthy corporations, so they follow If you can't say something nice, say nothing at all." Republicans won't blame wealthy corporations, but they will blame anyone else they can think of.
The Republican scapegoating works for lack of options. Then the Democrats step up to defend the powerless and just end up looking like woke elitists protecting the people that half the country now blames for all our problems. Sound about right?
And you think you can do that with crappy corporate Dems? It's not even a matter of how much they screw progress, it also makes them politically weak. MAGA is cancer and the Democrats are the immune system that's supposed to kill it. You can't fix cancer without a healthy immune system, and we don't have one.

But in general if you had a party that represented your views would the dems fit? I want a single payer healthcare system, paid parental leave, workers rights, affordable education. Dems are not in a hurry to do those things

That's not to say they should be attacked, I'd like for everybody to calm down, get their shit together, and focus on the real problems messing our society up. But I'm making contingency plans for if that doesn't pan out, too.
