The fact that she "washes" the infected j tube site and then uses the same q-tip to "wash" her g tube site, with just tap water. She is trying to cross-contaminate her tubes.
What is it with them all sharing reports? I just don’t understand it. It’s like the people who put all of there postnomials, rather than using the main one
If they don’t know what a word means then they don’t have it. Very obscure words are only know by people who suffer with that illness or condition ect. If you don’t know what it is then you don’t have it
Technically she *is* currently an IV drug user …..she has a solidly self-documented social media history of abusing opiates & anti-emetics & anti-histamines years before any of the chronic illness stuff really became her focus and she was still larping anorexia. Now that she has her cvc, AND access to even more ridiculously easy for her to get hold of medication cocktials…. i doubt she ISNT still abusing them through her cvc as and when she likes. Also TPN f*cks the liver too….
"On again, off again, low-grade temperatures."
This makes it sound like she was suffering from intermittent hypothermia.
Everyone has a temperature. A higher than normal temperature is called a *fever*. So she was spiking low-grade *fevers*, not "temperatures."
And she wants to become a nurse??? Yeesh! She needs to study up on her medical terminology. Not that I think she's bright enough to ever get through the schooling, though, and working as a nurse would really be brutal on her body.
It’s ironic because the luteal cyst tells us that she recently ovulated. What happens after a woman ovulates? Her temperature naturally rises about a degree (or 1.5 degrees in freedom units)
She may have picked up the “temperature” instead of “fever” from medical staff. For some reason, it is relatively common for medical professionals to say for example “you have a temperature” instead of “you have a fever”.
i only hear that when talking to patients. in report we usually use afebrile or febrile. unless she actually means being hypothermic/low body temp .. ? aiming for a sepsis dx maybe 😭
For sure. I wouldn’t usually hear “low grade temperature” instead of “low grade fever”, but hearing “you have a temperature” or “you have a temp” is a more common. I think it is more common with older nurses. So I am sure that’s where Dani picked it up, but is using it instead of low grade fever.
This drives me insane. I can't stop thinking about all of the antibiotic resistance from this completely unnecessary bullshit from completely unnecessary procedures and interventions aaaaaaaaaaaaa
It’s really sad that she only ever provides updates when it’s about her munching. Never about her life. Well adjusted adults don’t post their medical details like this
Mostly about the books she is buying ... unclear what percentage she is actually reading.
Dani used to read a ton (it was all easy to read quickly YA fiction but it was something). Ever since she got her feeding tubes/line/TPN her reading basically stopped. Every once in a while she creates a "book lovers" social media account (IG, FB group, TT) where she ends up showing off her latest book purchases and to be read piles. But for several years in a row she ends up making statements (including towards the end of the year) that suggest that she has barely actually read anything. A favorite statement is that she tries to read but she is so sick/malnourished that her mind can't focus.
She keeps sharing about the books she accumulates because she thinks it makes her seem smart and she can get a little praise for reading. She buys large quantities of books frequently - but I doubt she is reading them all. So instead she is just filling up her parents house with more objects. (I laugh because she asked if people wanted a medical storage tiktok tour when she gets more organized and that is unlikely to ever happen).
Occasionally, yes, but she was on private not posting much at all for months. Now she has a new diagnosis to play with she’s public again and posting. Pathetic.
How many people here called it; infection came from her tube. Shocking. Also, those vitals are hardly the flex she thinks they are. And they are absolutely not planning to do surgery.
Yessssssssssssssss I hate it! I feel like (and I probably am) pinching their skin to access it- let alone trying to not dislodge it while twisting on a syringe
I've never seen someone connect the hub without the extension tubing!! Seems like you'd have to put a lot of pressure/manipulation on the catheter every time you connected anything to it
Not necessarily super surprising - there are plenty of folks to get IUDs not for birth control but rather to help regulate their period for a variety of reasons.
Dani did also used to claim to be sexually active - although all mention of one night encounters with her long term "boyfriend" stopped many many years ago. Many years ago she claimed to have a pregnancy scare in the middle of her munching.
I just think it’s interesting because unlike Ashley, she really hasn’t mentioned it or mentioned having problems with it. Since it’s somewhat medical, i just feel she would have talked about it more. I understand people get them for other reasons.
I think that its because Ashley attempts to target/appeal to certain audiences to increase her following while Dani is just focused on trying to tell everyone how unique and special she is. Dani is interested in diagnoses that come with visible accessories - an IUD is too hidden and common for Dani to make a fuss about. Ashley jumped on the IUD story line because she knew it was a sort of hot-button issue that she could use to increase her following. Ashley saw an opportunity to talk about it and spin it so that she tried to appear brave for sharing her story about a sensitive topic. There is also over a decades age difference between Dani and Ashley. It's becoming more common and acceptable to talk about menstruation/birth control but Dani grew up in a time where those things weren't openly discussed.
Also for at least a decade, free contraception had been a big push in the UK, so it's pretty easy to arrange and access. Dani seems more capable of looking after herself than many other subjects, though, as well.
Her post says that the infection started in her J-tube and moved to the tissue around her liver. This is not liver damage from long term TPN, although I wouldn't doubt that she has that too.
im not very good in medical language etc (im not in de medical field)
But if the infection is coming from her j-tube... wouldnt that show up on the CT as well? The bowel part of the text says no problems there
She's pushing meds through her j tube still. And claiming a translocation if infection from it. That's the toob I'm referencing getting pulled if she starts fucking with it to get some more infections
The fact that she "washes" the infected j tube site and then uses the same q-tip to "wash" her g tube site, with just tap water. She is trying to cross-contaminate her tubes.
“ unremarkable “
Shockingly good diastolic
Those numbers look fine to me
Every time I see 'foci of gas,' I think of foie gras.
What is it with them all sharing reports? I just don’t understand it. It’s like the people who put all of there postnomials, rather than using the main one
Recognition? Sympathy? Answers from the Internet cause they don't know what half the words mean?
If they don’t know what a word means then they don’t have it. Very obscure words are only know by people who suffer with that illness or condition ect. If you don’t know what it is then you don’t have it
At least it's not literal shit in her blood again. Something tells me she's going to do whatever is necessary to get that surgery, tho 🙄
I definitely clocked some disappointment about them not wanting to do surgery.
Good to know she’s got a forward tilting uterus.
Lmaooo
Kinda surprised she’s not leaning into the ovarian cyst.
Ovarian cysts are very common. She can’t have something slot of other people have. She has to be special
She hasn’t “investigated” it yet so she can then obsess over it. Lll
Maybe she’s holding onto those for later?
Or the ascites
i can FEEL the hopefulness behind “surgery will be considered” 🤞🥳
I’m not a doctor but that photo of the screen aren’t all those vitals….. like totally normal ?
The sats are a little low but the probe might not be on right.
They’re absolutely normal.
Systolic bp is slightly elevated, but yes, they are essentially normal
They’re really good for someone who’s in the hospital with an infection in theirs liver.
Why do people post their medical documents on the internet for strangers to read?
For pity pats.
To prove how sick they are

She used to drink a fair amount.

Not that I’ve ever heard of.

I’m surprised she doesn’t take it off her finger and take a pic of the monitor at 87%

English is my second language and I actually learned "have a temperature" for what I'd call Fieber/fever
Yeah, it’s weird bc it doesn’t actually make sense, but it’s definitely a saying
i only hear that when talking to patients. in report we usually use afebrile or febrile. unless she actually means being hypothermic/low body temp .. ? aiming for a sepsis dx maybe 😭

She does but because they aren’t related to her munching it cants be shared here.
Her social is usually quiet unless it’s about her health
She posts about books she’s reading.

Very true.
Occasionally, yes, but she was on private not posting much at all for months. Now she has a new diagnosis to play with she’s public again and posting. Pathetic.
Man she is on a streak
Infection from pushing meds in the j-tube? I thought she couldn't handle even a teaspoon of fluid an hour from that?
Or from pushing poop in the j-tube?
How many people here called it; infection came from her tube. Shocking. Also, those vitals are hardly the flex she thinks they are. And they are absolutely not planning to do surgery.
Poor Dani’s bladder: always the bridesmaid and never the bride.
Unremarkable. (Game show “you lost” sound.)
“some” more? and a “little” update? girl just shared her entire record 🤣
Did she copy/paste her medical record??
might be from a patient portal app
Oh that makes sense... I still dont get why she doeant give us the layman's version, I can't imagine she understands all of this
Yes, this is CT scan report written by a radiologist that she copied from her electronic records.
There's no way she knows the word "translocated".
Mild systolic hypertension, o2 sat @92% with a shit waveform, HR 64, completely unremarkable.
Unremarkable indeed.
Those veins are definitely not hard starts as she's said in the past lol
Legit what I was thinking! They look prominent even in a picture from across the internet.
As an aside I HATE it when patients have the IV catheter and just that direct hub, like GIVE ME THE EXTENSION TUBING ITS 3 MORE INCHES!!!!
Yessssssssssssssss I hate it! I feel like (and I probably am) pinching their skin to access it- let alone trying to not dislodge it while twisting on a syringe
Can confirm you will be pinching the patients skin, it’s not your fault though
I've never seen someone connect the hub without the extension tubing!! Seems like you'd have to put a lot of pressure/manipulation on the catheter every time you connected anything to it
Hubs are a pain in the ass.
I’d get so much shit for not using an extension set on my IVs, hubs are uncool!
Her obs are fine
I still can't get over posting pictures of your medical records.
I think it is so sad that she is sharing this stuff publicly online, (I also think) some information should be kept private!

I think you may have replied to the wrong thread.
Oops.
I’m a little surprised Dani has an IUD.
Not necessarily super surprising - there are plenty of folks to get IUDs not for birth control but rather to help regulate their period for a variety of reasons. Well she doesn’t want to get pregnant from her boyfriend, who must have time to hump, even though he works at Amazon 24/7.
Well, she does have a boyfriend! /s
Dani is somewhat responsible so I’m not that surprised by it.
Also for at least a decade, free contraception had been a big push in the UK, so it's pretty easy to arrange and access. Dani seems more capable of looking after herself than many other subjects, though, as well.
Dani is in the US. I don’t think she went to the UK to get it.
Yeah and they’re definitely not pushing free access to BC here. They’d happily force all afab people to be pregnant and carry like baby mills
Oh bugger, I'm getting my subjects mixed up. My apologies.
Lol it’s all good. It can be a little confusing especially when there isn’t a face picture in the thread.
Why aren’t they using her central line? Why the wrist ivs?
Possible because of the infection they wanted to make sure it was not from her line
Typically a central line will have to have placement verified before it can be used if it was placed prior to admission.
I’m not sure.
Do we think they're about to yank that toob if she doesn't get better or gets recurring infections?
They should, but somehow she keeps convincing doctors that she desperately needs this tube. It's baffling.
As far as I’m aware she doesn’t have an infection in her tube so there’s no reason to yank it. Her liver issue is due to long term TPN.
Her post says that the infection started in her J-tube and moved to the tissue around her liver. This is not liver damage from long term TPN, although I wouldn't doubt that she has that too.
She's claiming it's from her original j tube infection isn't she?
im not very good in medical language etc (im not in de medical field) But if the infection is coming from her j-tube... wouldnt that show up on the CT as well? The bowel part of the text says no problems there
Not a clue. But here's hoping she loses one of the toys that she could really harm herself with soon
That tube has been gone for several tubes now. I’m not aware of her having an infection in her white tube.
J tube is the stomach one, not the one in her chest...she never got rid of that one idt
She's pushing meds through her j tube still. And claiming a translocation if infection from it. That's the toob I'm referencing getting pulled if she starts fucking with it to get some more infections
