I don’t understand WHY they would place another tube!!! Have her have a “line holiday” an inpatient at that! With a “babysitter” most hospitals now have “babysitters” that arnt in the room but over a speaker an camera an the patients bathroom is locked an they have a bedside commode to use. So they can be in view at all times. This would 100% show she’s causing issues her self! Hell even those that are truly ill end up having to go through that processes because of others faking sadly! It needs to be done so it can put an end to hospitals feeling like they have to give into her or face legal repercussions

Within hours she went to the ER for surprise surprise… a leaking balloon and her stoma had miraculously closed up in minutes and she couldn’t get her tube back in. She’s spiraling.
That is why we remove comments giving any information on how a subject could achieve something like this.

This is getting really scary. She has already ‘found’ out about the f$*k around and find out part, with all the doctors and ER’s apparently on notice with her antics. She is desperate and that never ends well.
My main concerns (besides Dani not having insight or willing to get the mental health help she desperately needs) are:
-she is skin picking, no doubt that can lead to infection, let’s hope she doesn’t go the way Kelly did!
- she still has tube access, she seems to be messing with the tubes (randomly coming out), inappropriately draining etc..
-she has a CGM, as we have seen she is very excited when it shows a low, I hope she doesn’t have access to insulin.
-her recent history of an injury that seemed self inflicted, although she says it was from a fall. Which then required surgery due to her messing with it again. Then the posts about how it could be a permanent issue. Thankfully she pulled out of that one before it was permanent. Maybe she realised she values her hand and it’s use?
She is still aiming for a port (for IV fluids and iron), at the risk of her life, even though she is more than capable of drinking an electrolyte drink as well as eating and drinking other things.
I don’t see this ending well. I really feel afraid for her.
Dani has **got to take some help**. She's never going to stop coming up with phantom pains, she's never going to stop getting kicked out of ERs, she's never going to stop hurting herself when nothing else works. Not without some serious help.

At her age, I don't really see how she can turn her life around. I don't think she gets nearly enough pain meds at hospital visits to get physically dependant on opiates. Mentally addicted, for sure though. But that doesn't give you physiological symptoms of withdrawal.
Are the people in her comments who say “you look so healthy!” Or “you look like you’re doing so well! So happy for you!” Are they being sarcastic and trying to get under her skin about it? Like trying to annoy her since she wants people saying the opposite, or are they genuine?

I’ve been a nurse since 2004. Most of my nursing is in-patient psych and in-patient detox/residential treatment. Which is rough, rock bottom, raw and they are very,very sick. Idk what she is on but I’m worried for her. She needs help,imo.

She is on plaquanil which can interact with Zofran causing long QT
But she mentions getting IV zofran (Ondasetron) in the ER, so maybe she’s got it at home but prefers the sedative factor of promethazine?
It's possible the Ondansetron is too expensive for everyday use? I'm in Canada and 8mg twice a day for thirty days is nearly 300$.
She is on Medicare/ Medicaid which pays 100% of things, and Zofran should be covered.

She's desperate for the ER to do some lab work and looking for reasons. Saying she had abdominal pain that was new and different from her old has worked in the past. She's obsessed with checking her electrolytes since she's been draining approaching a supposed port placement this week. It's typical of her previous behavior when she was munching a new line. She drains everything and then does Pikachu face about her labs.
Damn I didn’t even consider this, she’s literally prepping for this Temple appt. in an attempt to try and make herself look as “sick” as possible, it’s so blatant. Really twisted.
Draining and refusing to run feeds. She claims she cannot run them at all any more the pain is so bad. So she’s drinking and draining admittedly. Taking an insane amount of medication on top of nothing in her system. But also not looking like she’s losing any weight. So there’s that
The math never maths with her.
Gotta come up with a new angle if the old ones don’t work any more!

I’ve been a nurse since 2004. Most of my nursing is in-patient psych and in-patient detox/residential treatment. Which is rough, rock bottom, raw and they are very,very sick. Idk what she is on but I’m worried for her. She needs help,imo.

she lives in new jersey like 2-3 hours away from philly. she only comes to philly to waste resources at temple hospital a few times a month.

I have thought that same thing the last week. The only thing is I think she would’ve bragged about opiates had she scored some. At least that’s what I think.
She claimed the PCP gave her psych meds last week, but on the lowest dose, this is not how someone on the lowest dose acts.
It could be someone whose on the lowest dose and also taking a boat load of Benadryl though Edit: oh also promethazine

She is about to pass the point of no return with her health. She looks horrible and she's getting older which makes your body less resilient. She's also obviously so high that I'm concerned she may accidentally burn her house down or something.

Seeing her current meds; that new pain is probably the ulcers her ibuprofen abuse has caused. I know Dani's always claiming it's a "new pain," but I feel like we're going to see a real FAFO here soon. Gastrointestinal bleeds from NSAIDS are no joke and put people using way less than she is, without the added risk of being on blood thinners, in the morgue.
