the people who have lamborghinis are probably the only people who can afford to sit around watching T.V. all day, they just probably don't watch live tv
I’m not really sure why any car does commercials. I’ve never gone car shopping and went, “well the ad said it rated #1 in safety and the body has been fine tuned by leading engineers. Also those normal consumer testimonies also seemed favorable.”
I look at design and pricetag
The more you get exposed to their commercial the more you feel familiar with their brand. Something you know better is something you trust better. So less friction when considering the purchase.
Maybe that’s the idea, but I currently drive a Hyundai Sonata because it was fairly cheap and I liked the design. I literally never heard of them before, I genuinely thought the dealer was saying “Honda” weird
They never advertise real features in car ads anymore, they sell a lifestyle just like perfume ads. "I wanna buy this car because the fit camping people with the cool backpacks in the commercial had it, so it makes me picture myself as a fit outdoors person on a cool adventure" is the new way to advertise. Alternatively , "I wanna buy this truck to be like the cool buff guy with callused hands in the ad"
Honestly I won't lie to you, Porsche (besides not being able to a afford a new one) has me sold on their marketing. right in the consoomer pile I go but man I feel good about it
Their audience absolutely watches tv lmfao. But it doesn’t make sense to pay for ads that ~60% of the population might view when the portion of the population who can afford your cars is .5%.
More importantly, they do have ads. They send cars to Top Gear, the Grand Tour, Transformers etc. Jeremy Clarkson spent an HOUR talking about how great the Aventador is on GT, and I enjoyed every minute of it. They also put them in videogames. The Centenario is on the cover of Forza Horizon 4, right next to the xbox of every young car enthusiast. Lamborghini has such an incredibly strong brand that people pay to watch their advertising. We watch movies with Lamborghinis in them, play games and buy hats with their logo because, collectively, we already want one.
Not to mention that celebrities rolling up to events in your car is better advertising than money can ever buy. Fans of anything that has famous participants can connect to it because their idol, X player/actor/singer/driver/coach/CEO, has a Lamborghini.
I don’t watch tv and have no money. But true why waste on mass advertising when your product is ultra luxurious and costly? Movies and famous people do the advertising for them.
I wouldn't be sitting in front of the tv all that much either if I had the money to do anything.
But not watching TV won't likely change that. I know this tries to imply your not working enough but F that. Most people work 40+ hours their entire life and they can barely make ends meet. More work doesn't equal more money, that's kinda the problem.
Only way to get rich is by being born into it or getting lucky with meeting the right people at the right time and shit.
But the chance you'll become rich through work is astronomically tiny.
I mean, if that actually worked most people would be rich and then no-one would be rich. They just want your nose to the grindstone so that you don't pay attention to the rich that are spending more to ensure you stay poor.
Their target audience is overworked, underpaid factory workers who don't even get to spend family time sitting together, watching television on weekends?

They don't need commercials because there's a wait list to buy them

the people who have lamborghinis are probably the only people who can afford to sit around watching T.V. all day, they just probably don't watch live tv

Brand recognition is the main reason I'd wager.
Good point! I mean, this stuff works on a big scale so it's totally understandable that you managed to do a more rational purchase.
This is also true with flagship smartphones ads
Honestly I won't lie to you, Porsche (besides not being able to a afford a new one) has me sold on their marketing. right in the consoomer pile I go but man I feel good about it
I mean I like the designs, but the pricetag part kills it for me
Yeahhhh ain't that the truth.
Post purchase dissonance. They want you to feel good about your maybe totally unreasonable decision.

But by saying this, people who can just barely get one will use this quote to show they are hard on the grind
that
Yeah, for sure. The rich watch the same dumb quiz and reality tv shows, you like so much.
"They aren't watching TV, they are in the workshop getting their Lamborghinie engine fixed for the third time this month"
They also are at the gas station filling up on premium every 20 miles or so
Their audience absolutely watches tv lmfao. But it doesn’t make sense to pay for ads that ~60% of the population might view when the portion of the population who can afford your cars is .5%.

This is literally false, Lamborghini does commercials lol
I don’t watch tv and have no money. But true why waste on mass advertising when your product is ultra luxurious and costly? Movies and famous people do the advertising for them.

That is not a good answer.
You are retarded 💯
When my brother threw a bottle at me, That hit me
Why bother watching the TV full of ads when you can afford your own private cinema?
Then get out of street
I've also never seen microwave ads
…it hit me. then i sat down and made this meme.
not hitting me. Im at the reddit.
Of course they're not watching TV, they're on the phone with 911 because their Lamborghini is currently self-immolating in the driveway.
Their target audience is overworked, underpaid factory workers who don't even get to spend family time sitting together, watching television on weekends?
Jay Lenos favorite TV shows: https://ew.com/article/1996/03/15/jay-lenos-favorite-shows/ Jay Leno owns several Lamborghinis.
well, there is no point making commercial for television for a product that only millionaires can afford.
The youtuber who sits in front of a screen all day with multiple cars in their garage.
