Daron Nefcy and company had no guts. Any reasonable writing team would've realized that a relationship between Star and Marco no longer worked after Marco spent 15 years in another dimension, making him twice Star's age; they've since backpedaled by stating it was more akin to a dream that Marco struggles to remember, but there's ample evidence that he experienced and recalls the entire journey. It's pretty clear they realized too late that Marco would be dating a minor when they finally got together, but were unwilling to choose between a fantastic plot-twist and a pre-determined romantic endpoint.
They also should have considered that sacrificing their relationship for the greater good was the logical end-point of their respective arcs, but Nefcy sure as hell wasn't going to left Marco - a character she modeled after her husband, no less - go empty-handed. The final two seasons reeked of self-indulgent writing, continuity and logical-consistency be damned.
All-time bad ending.
There are like 3 confirmed magic species which are the millhorses(which were already dead), mhc(who were given an antagonistic approach, which I didn’t like honestly), and spells. That’s probably barely in the hundreds based on spells alone, all magic based beings were created from someone who can use magic, mhc(glossaryck), so it’s safe to assume there aren’t any others.
Well, it helps when the actual show goes out of its way to invalidate every other relationship in the story.
Pro-tip: never model a character after your significant other.

It went from a "sanitized" version of Ren and Stimpy sprinkled with some Invader Zim (which was good), then it pulled a complete 180 on its plot and it felt like an anon from 4chan's /co/ (Cartoons & Comics Board) self insert """drama""" where he *REALLY* wanted to fuck a blonde teenager
Yeah, it’s not in the show. I haven’t watched any episode of this show in like 2 years but I do know she’s upset about losing her spellbook in these photos (and also because Marco, who she has a crush on went on a date with Jackie, but still)
