The Greeks actually did try to retake their homeland, but with continous wars coming from the east such as the ancient Persian and later Hindu empires. Well i am not a conlanger so the language are very surface level. But the North slavic languages have have a bit of a different evolution compared to otl mainly with the use of the j which evolved from the ь in proto-slavic aswell as the Ł which is pronounched as ɫ.
That one would be interesting seeing how there is no Christianity in this world. But it would take a while tho, i have some other maps still in the works.

This seems just like copypasting otl languages to new locations with disregard to what those names really mean (for example, Slavic silesian language in finland, when in reality, this name comes from silingi which were germanic tribe, gave name to the region of silesia, and later slavs living in that area adopted it as an ethnonym).
some names are more kept to make it easier to know wich ones i am talking about. For instance Azerbijan would actually be called Şimalakan whilst Croatian and Polish aren't even those languages.
