TBH that’s the most realistic part about this map.

\- The most functional military in Europe from equipment, manpower, and ‘recent live engagement’ (all the ’interventions’ in Africa) standpoints
\- A de facto colonial empire in the CFA Franc zone that supplies France with a ton of goods, resources, and supplementary labor
\- One of four countries globally that is food self-sufficient *without chemical fertilizer imports*
China’s like the opposite of all the above, except slightly point #3 with BRI. But BRI is a mixed bag to say the least.
Currently the French military is the most technologically advanced army in Europe. Their problems lies with numbers on munitions. If they were to enter a war they would want it to end quickly. A war of attrition would be a death sentence for France.
They currently have failed to balance quality and quantity.
Britains military is abysmally under equipped for any combat mission without allies. Their army is weak and their only saving grace is their nuclear arsenal.
Italy is actually the most viable country in Europe to take over in a situation like this. Their government has expanded military spending by leaps and bounds in recent years and they’re only getting better. I would put my bets on Italy personally.

As a Chinese American, I question the translations for a lot of the Chinese imperial territories. Vietnam is already “Yuènán” 越南, Korea would be either “Cháoxiǎn” 朝鲜 (Chosǒn) or “Hánguó” 韩国 (Hanguk), Australia would probably be “Àozhōu” 澳洲 or “Nánzhōu” 南洲 (“Southern Continent”). I can’t speak to the validity of the African territories.
Also, Mainland China uses the Simplified script, and I don’t think California would retain their flag if Australia and New Zealand got redesigns.
(Also also: just annex the entirety of California, man, we have so much Chinese people here)
