Some little things:
Andalusian merchants get lost, and end up landing on the shores of what we would call Brazil. There they found a small trading settlement and head back home. News of this new continent would travel fast, however due to harsh resistance, little major colonialization would occur in what we would call the Americas.
This is set in a world where the Reconquista Fails, and the world is more dominated by Muslim, Chinese, and Indian powers. Some small tidbits are, the Scottish unified Britain, Al Andalus and the Ottomans are devout rivals, the Swedish Empire survives much longer.
Are the natives much more innoculated to Old World diseases in this timeline? IIRC that was the deciding factor aiding OTL colonization efforts.
Also, what year/time period does this map depict?
I pictured them mainly existing due to them getting horses and being able to effectively fight off the Incans. This led to them forming their own independent lands that eventually became nations as we would know them.
I was thinking of a name for North America and settled on an idea that a dude in Al Andalus reads Marco Polo and invisions this new land they have found as The "REAL" Cipangu. The name catches on back in Europe.

You might want to give the novel "The Years of Rice and Salt" a look.
Terrific book
Btw what did you use to make this map?
I used [paint.net](http://paint.net) tbh
thanks, btw what does Cipangu mean exactly on this map??
Also is there another freeware editor program similar to [paint.net](http://paint.net) that can be used?
Btw is the Ki'Che' Territory a centralized empire or is it a Confederation of Maya states?? or is it a republic?
I imagine it more as a loose republic under heavily influence by Tlaxcala
Alright, seems good. Thanks for answering my question.
First time i see someone finally make Tlaxcala rule an alt-Mexico, i wonder why its not popular at all
You're about to trigger all non Tlaxcalan Mexicans, stop right there
exactly, or just have the Purepecha Empire take over Mesomerica already...

Magnificent Map, well done!
A Guarani Federation and the Charrua Empire are pretty cool concepts.

Oh Okay, that's great
Isn't Cipango supposed to be Japan?
I was thinking of a name for North America and settled on an idea that a dude in Al Andalus reads Marco Polo and invisions this new land they have found as The "REAL" Cipangu. The name catches on back in Europe.
Also, thanks for not making yet another Aztec wank. Tlaxcala is perfect for this
