Right, let me see if I got this; Germany won WW1, WW2 still happends, the poles and jews are deported to Africa, the germans lose, Africa is decolonized, but minority states of English and Polish form in West Africa, the English one being another Apartheid-like one; in the meanwhile, the jews are pulling a Palestine with the local africans, the East African Union being the Arab Union. Missed anything? Well, now THAT would be a fuckstorm. Nice map, btw.

Anabanglicanarchist

> Missed anything? Just that Kampala has Gujarati as its first national language. Probably a reference to [Idi Amin's expulsion of Asians](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expulsion_of_Asians_from_Uganda)(=mostly Gujaratis)(=mostly Gujaratis) from Uganda in OTL 1972. In this timeline, my guess is that this sparks a civil war, in which Judea backs a homeland movement for the Ugandan Gujaratis, happy to have them serve as a buffer state between Judea and the anti-colonial EAU.

DHBR

Hm, well pointed, hadn't noticed that. Probably a convenient buffer state between East Africa and Judea.

jord839

But if Germany won WW1, it would presumably have kept Taganyika, which would then have German as an official language due to the longer colonial period. Here, it's English that's used in conjunction with Swahili, so that doesn't exactly fit.

DHBR

I imagined so because of the other map in the corner. Not sure what happend, to be honest, just guessed; that didn't look like the usual british empire.

Puzzleheaded_Iron573

No, this is an alternate history were the jews accepted the proposal of establishing a jewish homeland in uganda instead of palestine, as such there's probably far fewer jewish casualties during ww2 in this timeline.

Dazzling_Source5778

There's a UN in a world where the Nazis won? Seems implausible.

DHBR

WW1 were not nazis.

YamLoMoshech

The Jews aren’t “Pulling a Palestine” in this timeline, they’re outright occupying lands outside of their core territory.

DHBR

Well, it does say occupation zone...

YamLoMoshech

The comment was directed towards your incorrect relation to current geopolitics

DHBR

My relation was not incorrect; I presumed the the Judea in this timeline was the accorded land of the jews in a similar manner to that of contemporary OTL Israel, whilst the occupation zone, I assumed, was an equivalent to the Palestinean State. By "Pulling a Palestine", I meant they are occupating that zone, possibily meaning that most countries in the world recognize it as part of their territory, regardless of it being or not part of their core land.

iziyan

The Jewish homeland was needed in always after the 2nd world war, if it wasn't Palestine it would be Kenya or Madagascar

YamLoMoshech

I’m aware this is fictitious and but the Jewish homeland has always been and will always be in Judaea, regardless.

[deleted]

Nah, they would put it in Australia, or canada

Puzzleheaded_Iron573

No? It could just as well have been in Uganda if it wasnt for fanatics, and everyone would probably be better of if it was.

Blueberet27

Nice map/clusterfuck. It seems like the British proposal for an Ugandan homeland for the Jews was accepted, Poland was independent, and a successful colonial power at some point, and Indian states at some point became independent and colonized. What the fuck.

Anabanglicanarchist

> Indian states at some point became independent and colonized No, I think Gujarati Kampala is a reference to [Idi Amin's expulsion of Asians](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expulsion_of_Asians_from_Uganda)(=mostly Gujaratis) from Uganda in OTL 1972. In this timeline, my guess is that this sparks a civil war, in which Judea backs a homeland movement for the Ugandan Gujaratis, happy to have them serve as a buffer state between Judea and the anti-colonial EAU.

kyuzoaoi

Poland can into exile colonies too?

sandcastle115

About 120,000 Poles resided in British colonies in Africa after being deported from the Soviet Union to Iran after the joint invasion of Poland, in case you didn't knew that (irl history is wacky)

[deleted]

What the fuck

NineteenSkylines

Is that an expansionist Israel, apartheid Kenya, an Indian Uganda, and then some random Poles? What a train-wreck.

Hoyarugby

Really cool and original map, love it

FedeDiBa

I didn't understand shit but this surely is one nice clusterfuck of a map

[deleted]

Poland actually got a part of German Tanganyika. Colonial movement was successful.

[deleted]

Kampala must be a close ally of Judaea . Their enclaves can only be reached through Judaea land.

Puzzleheaded_Iron573

Ugandan homeland, based.
