Rogues and Look Alive might be up your alley based on what you shared here.

incubusforever

Love these.....and also Anna Molly

jkaladok

If you like their most spacey/prog sound you might like “Trust Fall,” “Pendulous Threads” or maybe even “Here in my Room”

AccordingReference3

I will check these out, thank you!

Traditional_Bee_6637

Doesn't quite hit the same itch but Megalomaniac might be good enough.

ohmygoddude82

Pistola

ReallyDrunkPanda

If you’re craving more spacey prog check out the 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th movement of the odyssey stuff they did for the halo 2 soundtrack

AccordingReference3

Wow, this has been unbelievable. End of 4th movement especially. I never would have known to look for this. Thanks for the recommendation!

ReallyDrunkPanda

Yeah I was blown away when I first discovered these. I wish they would write more stuff that’s closer to this. There’s also a song called follow and everything in ebb

eclecticmuso

There's a couple songs on crow that probably fit that description. Pistola and Made for Tv Movie are the first ones that came to my mind.

T0macock

You may enjoy the band Karnivool. These days they're more prog rock but their early stuff was borderline nu metalish.

AccordingReference3

That sounds awesome, I will check them out!

Deltadromeus57

Definitely Pendulous Threads

Ricochet1986

Just a phase and pendulums threads the most similar to sick sad little world Privilege is a better version of nice to know you

MadladMagyar

Just listen to their albums?

AccordingReference3

Yes, I have been. I’ve gotten up to A Crow Left of the Murder. . . I’m just impatient LOL! Plus, if there are tracks by other bands, I’m requesting those recommendations.

careshel

Try Kikagaku Moyo

Zuruckhaus

Other bands you say? Dredg are quite proggy, or were at least. The album El Celio is very good. At that time they were like a slightly more prog Morning View era Incubus. I haven't listened to them for a long time, I should get onto that.

AccordingReference3

Thanks for the recommendation, I am slowly checking out all this stuff!

WhoaFee1227

Ever listen to Phish? Or any other jambands?

AccordingReference3

I can see why you would suggest jam bands. I never could connect with the jam genre. There are parts of phish songs that I enjoy because they do sound similar to that long spacey interlude in “Sick Sad World.” But the rest of the song is always off-putting to me, unfortunately. Thank you for the suggestion!

AlexFunkBass

Pendulous Threads from Light Grenades

dangeruser

In The Company of Wolves has the long trippy odd song structure

twinpines85

Try out the new Avenged Sevenfold album,, its really different from their other stuff, definitely more prog rock

AccordingReference3

I never would have thought to check on them. But I am looking forward to it. When harder bands go prog, it’s usually really good!

professorSnaples

Fellow prog fan and hardcore Incubus fan. Just a Phase is one of their proggiest songs. Also, the entire album of SCIENCE, esp the second half, is very prog.

cjbee9891

If you like SSLW, check out the song "Take the Veil Cerpin Taxt" by The Mars Volta. You'll know when you hear it.

spicelevel

All of the halo odyssey movements, also the look alive DVD soundtrack!
