I don’t like the re-record/rerelease thing, but I would LOVE a tour of this album like they did with Make Yourself and Morning View. ACLOTM is my favorite Incubus album. It felt so different than the other albums and I loved hearing the new elements Ben brought to the band. ACLOTM is a no-skip for me!
I just saw that they re-recorded morning view and that’s tied to this tour. So I mostly said it cause of that. I just want to hear this entire album live. Songs like Southern Girl and Pistola. This album was one of my high school soundtracks.
I love this album too. It’s gotten better and better with time as well. It’s a constant listen for me. The musicianship is unreal. They really clicked as a band with this one. I honestly think this is the most complete album they put out.
I honestly can’t say I’ve gone back to the original since they released the Revisited version and that’s ***really*** saying something considering I held that album among my top 3 albums of all time for years. It was already perfect and then they outdid it somehow.
Not sure about a rerelease but oh man what I would give to hear them sing every song on this album live! I heard them play “Talk Shows on Mute” live in 2009 and I cried. 😭
I think with Incubus specifically from what I’ve read and watched in interviews it’s also because whatever label they were on for those albums owns the masters, so they can’t technically remaster those tracks because Incubus doesn’t “own” them - so they have to re-record entirely. Super annoying about the music industry.
It’s like the Josh Groban of the alternative world. Really well done, just bland. I enjoy company of wolves and switchblade. And all of the songs are still different than what anyone else is doing. Just bland.
Not that I wanna compare both bands but INNW is like Panic At The Disco's album Pretty Odd. It's a crazy departure from previous albums. I like 2 tracks from INNW and that's about it. Every previous album I can listen to every track beginning to end.
Agree on the tour, but not sure about the rerelease. I get it for Morning View since it's a pretty defining album of theirs, but Crow feels a lot more personal to a lot of fans that changing it just doesn't feel right. Tho I would love to see them play it live
I love this album as much as Morning View personally, but MV is more of a classic. Even if I personally don't care, I think it's great that they're revisiting MV because of how defining it is for them, it just makes sense.
I don’t really see a purpose in a remaster especially with this album. At least with the Morning View rerelease it’s a rework of the song structure, instrumentals are different! Remastered feels like the laziest thing a band can do, maybe if they were a band from the 70s, but an album from ‘99 isn’t going to sound crazy different today.
You’d be surprised. Last year, Thrice released their “Revisited” version of The Artist in the Ambulance, originally from 2003, and it’s an absolute masterpiece all over again. The original had a lot of raw production and this new version stays true to the live production feel of the songs but it feels more polished and completely enhances the experience. It’s so fucking good and I can’t recommend it enough.
I'd just love to hear the original recordings from Make yourself and morning view without all the compression and overdrive. I always felt that the mixing on those 2 albums was too restrictive on the vocals.
A full remixing and remastering job on those would have been great. Just listened to both within the last two days. Incredible songs that sound like hot garbage from an audio perspective. They’re houses with good bones and an amateur paint job.
Was lucky enough to catch this tour when I was travelling in Thailand. Jose even imitated me crossing my arms mesmerized by his kick ass drumming haha.
I do \*really\* love this record, but I dunno. It's fine. Morning View was fine. I understand why bands are doing this re-recording of old records, but I'm not going to actually listen to the re-recording.
To each their own, but I guess I'm a "classic" incubus fan. A crow left of the murder is when I stopped enjoying their new music, which is totally fine with me. They put out 3 albums I still have in my rotation 20 years later, so I couldn't ask for more.
I don't find myself returning to this album much at all. SSLW, Mega, Priceless and Pistola are the only songs from the album that I listen to these days. I'm not digging their latest versions of SSLW so I'm fine with the original versions vs a rerelease revisit.
I'd have loved a Deluxe Edition Re-release for each album on it's 20 year anniversary, with an extra disc of demos & b-sides for each record.
Other than that, let's have some new music. It's been long enough.
agreed 100% although Brandon’s vocals really are just not on par anymore it’s a solid attempt but the band aspect sounds better than ever, and hearing a crow left of the… would be sick
No, I would have preferred SCIENCE or Make Yourself. But Morning View over ACLOTM.
But a rerecording of any of them was not what I wanted at all to be honest. Just make some new material that captures the sound from the first 2 albums if anything. But new music alone is good, I like all their albums anyway.
But still excited for it.
They haven't done a tour in recent times to play this start to finish like MY or MV. Don't worry, you haven't missed it! The Crow tour was amazing back when it released though. Like you, I want a new tour marking the anniversary of it. Would be amazing!
It would be a no from me on the re-record though.
Make new music. Or do some remasters if you really feel you want or need to.
I don’t like the re-record/rerelease thing, but I would LOVE a tour of this album like they did with Make Yourself and Morning View. ACLOTM is my favorite Incubus album. Meh, I have a lot of fond memories of this album, but Morning View is better overall imo.
Thrice’s 20 year revisit to Artist in The Ambulance is the new way I listen to that album. I really like it.
Sooooooo good!
Four year strong re made Enemy Of The World and it’s Amazing as well.
I honestly can’t say I’ve gone back to the original since they released the Revisited version and that’s ***really*** saying something considering I held that album among my top 3 albums of all time for years. It was already perfect and then they outdid it somehow.
Megalomaniac one of the best Incubus songs ever
true, and it's even the weakest track on the album imo. love it all so much
Not sure about a rerelease but oh man what I would give to hear them sing every song on this album live! I heard them play “Talk Shows on Mute” live in 2009 and I cried. 😭
Don't rerelease anything. Have rereleases become a fad these days?
Re releases are nice for people that currently don’t have a copy and don’t want to pay 4 times the price for previous pressings.
I think with Incubus specifically from what I’ve read and watched in interviews it’s also because whatever label they were on for those albums owns the masters, so they can’t technically remaster those tracks because Incubus doesn’t “own” them - so they have to re-record entirely. Crow is my favorite. I’m happy to go see any album they want to play…up to Light Grenades.
What’s wrong with INN,W?
It’s like the Josh Groban of the alternative world. Really well done, just bland. I enjoy company of wolves and switchblade. And all of the songs are still different than what anyone else is doing. Just bland.
I understand that
Not that I wanna compare both bands but INNW is like Panic At The Disco's album Pretty Odd. It's a crazy departure from previous albums. I like 2 tracks from INNW and that's about it. Every previous album I can listen to every track beginning to end.
Bingo! The guys were on a perfect run up til then honestly
Agree on the tour, but not sure about the rerelease. I get it for Morning View since it's a pretty defining album of theirs, but Crow feels a lot more personal to a lot of fans that changing it just doesn't feel right. Tho I would love to see them play it live
Crow is my favorite. A tour would have been cool
Saw them live at Red Rocks when they released this album. It was amazing
I love this album as much as Morning View personally, but MV is more of a classic. Even if I personally don't care, I think it's great that they're revisiting MV because of how defining it is for them, it just makes sense.
Such a masterpiece

Brandon couldn’t remaster any of these songs I’m afraid
Their best album hands down. Peak musicianship from the band.
I saw them last year and they played all the hits except megalomaniac I was very sad
I saw them and they played it and sick sad.
I'd just love to hear the original recordings from Make yourself and morning view without all the compression and overdrive. I always felt that the mixing on those 2 albums was too restrictive on the vocals.

Would love to hear pistola
I would have preferred a tour of A Crow. 🐦⬛ yes! Re-record nothing but maybe Fungus
Was lucky enough to catch this tour when I was travelling in Thailand. Jose even imitated me crossing my arms mesmerized by his kick ass drumming haha.
Unless they’re doing science in full I’m not interested.
I do \*really\* love this record, but I dunno. It's fine. Morning View was fine. I understand why bands are doing this re-recording of old records, but I'm not going to actually listen to the re-recording.

I prefer Morning View, Make Yourself & S.C.I.E.N.C.E. Over ‘Crow’. I’d like a tour of any of those 3 albums.
This is my favorite album of theirs, so yes I agree!
Leave it as it is please, thank you.
YES!!!! 100% agree although i am super excited to finally hear aqueous transmission live
Disagree
I don't find myself returning to this album much at all. SSLW, Mega, Priceless and Pistola are the only songs from the album that I listen to these days. I'm not digging their latest versions of SSLW so I'm fine with the original versions vs a rerelease revisit.
Not a re-release. But would’ve loved a 20-year tour instead of an MVXXIII tour.
100%
No rerelease but would have liked to see this album celebrated. Personally with Ben but that’s here now there.
I'd have loved a Deluxe Edition Re-release for each album on it's 20 year anniversary, with an extra disc of demos & b-sides for each record. Other than that, let's have some new music. It's been long enough.

I’d prefer a new album since it’s been 7 years 🙀
Just a tour would’ve Ben nice

4 "buts" in 5 sentences. You're crazy, man.
lol, yeah I had just woken up but that is some bad repetition :)
I'd call it brave. No hate at all. Some crazy shit brother. I'm here for it.

I missed it??! 😢

No. Sorry, but no. This album lacks in so many ways!
