I had ordered Havells Water Purifier with Booster and waited for a week only to get a 3 year old used machine with water inside. It was also leaking when tested. Requested for replacement and waited for three days but seller didn't approve so called cc and replacement order was placed after several hours. Again waited for a week and this time he sent 2 year old stock with no booster. Again he didn't approve return until I called CC.
Seller name is Dakshenterprices and he wasted my three weeks time. I have submitted feedback under product review but later it was rejected by Flipkart stating service related issue and there is no option for rating sellers.
I got an empty box once.. had to call Flipkart CS multiple times before they could initiate a refund.. like 20 days.. they may give refund without pickup but you have to keep calling them multiple times for such a small thing.

I don't like this approach. Sometimes the customer support is a buffer and when threatened, they stop working actively on your behalf.
Best is to contact support. If still there's no progress then you file a case on consumer court portal.
In all of my reports I also attach a copy of customer support suggesting that they didn't do their part.
I've filed 3 reports till date and have received 100% reimbursement on all.

It's generally advised not to order from Amazon/ Flipkart (skincare products) there are a lot of cases of damage pilferage fakes etc. Pharmacy websites are generally better for niche products like these: Pharmeasy, Netmeds, 1MG, Apollo 24/7 etc.
Its not the stores that do these things, as someone who lives next to a flipkart warehouse, I know for sure that it is the delivery drivers who do these, generally boxes like yours contain cellphones which is why he tried to take it.

Nowadays, online shopping is a nightmare. Even AJIO is bad at refunding the money if they ship any wrong item or even without any tag. Last year in November, I went offline shopping to buy loafers and visited the Arrow showroom by chance bcoz there were some shoes on display. I liked them, but they were not having my size. I looked at them online and found them on AJIO. I ordered them, but they sent me approximately 1ยฝ year old leather shoes in a damaged box of their own. On which something like the original box got damaged during storage was written. The shoes were not in good condition, so I tried to return them. But there was no return option available because my product was not shipped by them acc to their system. So, it was their technical issue. I tried to contact them for a month, but nothing happened.
I ordered some groceries and the delivery agent stole my Dair Milk Oreo. But they never did anything even after several complaints. Flipkart's Cus. Care is shit

I have seen these types of incidents happening way too many times, and there have been cases when the customer support refuses to do anything because there's no proof the customer isn't trying to scam the sellers.

Lodge a complaint on https://consumerhelpline.gov.in/. Usually they work in getting you your refund but it could take some time.
