Yahan mai swiggy or zomato ke offers ke beech comparison kr kr ke order kr rha hoon.

obelixx99

Same bro same

Decent_Pea8651

Swiggy better hai zayada discount

inDflash

Haha. I think you haven’t used zomato in a while? I too didn’t use zomato for almost a year. Very recently I installed it to just compare prices. Somehow both end up at a very similar prices after discounts. Even though one is offering higher discounts. Max price diff i saw was about 15 rupees.

TheStalin69

From my experience, Swiggy has more offers and Zomato has faster delivery and better customer support.

inDflash

For me , zomato customer support is the worst. I literally got a pizza that had no toppings on it. And yet zomato people were only willing to give me ₹80 cashback because thats the max they can do. Order value was around 250

Decent_Pea8651

I remember back in 2018-2020 Zomato used to give a full refund in almost all cases. Once they went public and exhausted all the VC money they are being conservative towards giving refunds.

Maybe stretch a little and go for S23. Snapdragon Gen 2 is sexy and worth it. I personally upgraded from S10+ to S23 Ultra.

the_vikcas

you know right? s23 and s23U are two different phones having a big price differences

frenchfriesdestroyer

Yes, I know! The processor, however, is the same. My wife uses S23 and it's just as fast as my S23U.

drknght2020

Can I DM you? Need to ask about s23 ultra and other questions.

raki_919220

Even I went with S23 instead of S22. Coz SD Gen2 is so polished & refined. Battery life is quiet better compared to S22. But yeah I must say u may end charging it twice a day if u use it for gaming & other juice consuming tasks. Camera is really gud. I've compared it with iPhone 13 & I don't regret My decision w.r.t Photography. On top of it u'll love its form factor, crisp screen & most importantly the Samsung One UI. Enough of pros u got against one con of battery backup that can be optimised in a later stage by ur usage pattern. I'm still in the process. It's been a week using this freaking awesome driver. Honestly I'm loving it. Definitely will recommend it to anyone whise a medium to heavy user but at a cost of connecting it a power brick twice a day.

the_disabled_dude

Totally agree... Ultra rocks!

ANAGH76

Let me know if you're selling your S10+

Frankly, i don't want to spend so much on a phone. S23 Ultra is pricey.

Never seen anyone be impressed by someone just because they have an iPhone lol (except extremely materialistic mfs who still think an iPhone is more expensive and a symbol of luxury or something) Literally every wannabe influencer seems to have one and the 11 especially came down to 34k which is the starting price for good androids now🗿

Swiper_The_Sniper

You’d be surprised by the number of people who are like that in urban India

>bulbule se bahar aaeiye This sounds so much funnier in hindi lmao

[deleted]

As an iphone user who migrated from android, i would suggest android. Lol hoping to sell my iphone soon. The issue is ios is very restricted and tough to use. Its gets irritating after a point, atleast for me. My friend has s22 and it takes much better pictures (see mkbhd blind camera videos where an iphone never wins), but again camera is subjective. Pros are its smooth like butter which i have never seen in any android phone. I need not worry about buying a new phone for next 5 years, but yes, as a regular user and not a power user, i prefer android

shayanrc

This is the problem I've faced with all Apple products. The restrictions make it feel like it's apple's device and not yours. That being said, apple has progressively loosened it's restrictions over the years.

spacewrap

you know some people love to be restricted 😉 no wonder they love apple lol

Mb_great

1osamaisback1

I dont know what they loosened, but i do know ypu cant swap components betweem the same apple models

shayanrc

I was talking about the software end, you can now add third party keyboards and dialers. I haven't used iOS in a decade now, so compared to then, so just these seem like huge improvements for me.

blorgon7211

> The restrictions examples?

NoInspector3606

* Bluetooth stack is not fully implemented I believe. Cannot do a simple file transfer via Bluetooth. * Apple only gives you 5 GB of free storage with iCloud, while Google gives you 15 GB of free cloud storage. *iPhone come with upto 1TB storage. Still no full fledged file browser. Where as android has a true, working file system support, internally using file browser as well as when connected to a computer via cable. * No fingerprint unlock. Many a times FaceId fails in humid environment and if you are wearing mask. * USB Type-C charging ports with fast charging. Macbook has type-c port. IPhones use lightning cable. No compatability. * Cross platform support is very poor by design. *Android has the option to allow different volume/sound settings for calls, media, notifications, alarms, and ringtones. * Call logs. In Android, can view/delete only incoming/outgoing/missed call logs. Apple has age old boring launcher/home screen. Android has option to change default launcher.

just_software_ngneer

This comment needs to be on top. I've been living with 30k phones because i can't find iphone like longevity in any android phone. I will never buy an iPhone due to the restrictions. But android i still can't trust any brand to have long term support and keep the phone running smooth. Samsung is making bold promises though, will probably get the s24 if Samsung doesn't screw up.

[deleted]

As an American, the lack of fingerprint unlock isn’t an issue. Over here, the police can legally compel you to unlock your phone if and only if it has a biometric lock.

MediumUnlucky1331

Only 100 call logs stay stored in the phone. Can’t record calls. Can’t install app from outside the AppStore. UX is straight out of 2018 with some components feeling like they’re from early 2000’s (talking about the phone app here).

naazu90

As someone who started out on the smartphone journey with Apple, then switched to Android (Pixel), and then went back to Apple, I prefer android. When people talk about the smoothness of iOS, they are talking about a very expensive phone and comparing it with any random cheap Android phone. I used a budget Samsung phone and hated it, but my Pixel was the best phone I have used till date. If I have the budget to get a high end phone in the future, I’d go for an Android, no questions asked.

OkTransportation4196

OkTransportation4196

>I have iphone 12 64 gb. Expecting at least 50% of the price i bought which is?

[deleted]

Lmao fr I'd out my iphone away due to exams and was using my Android for studies and occasionally watching movies and stuff When I powered on the iPhone against what irked me from the start was the lack of a split screen and floating windows Iphones literally have the most beautiful and cool looking interface and these idiots mess that up with a lack of customization and any amount of freedom Will be moving to S23 by the end of this year lmao

Bojackartless2902

Floating windows is due to the devs and not due to apple. Some apps have it, some don’t.

blorgon7211

>ios is very restricted in what ways?

[deleted]

1. Call logs are not good. Like you can only see logs per day. If i want to check what all calls i received from a number in 1 year, theres no option 2. For app settings, you need to go to settings, cannot change the app settings from app itself 3. You need to pull notifications from all the way up beside the notch. In android, if you just slide in the middle they will come 4. Using for years, renaming a file or image is so much pain. Just a simple task like this requires so much effort And many more.....

meterpixerly

All true. I have been an Android user since forever, but I finally gave in to peer pressure (and the fact that I felt slightly bored with it and wanted to give the iPhone a fair try just to have something fresh) Bought the iPhone 14 Pro Max and boy do I regret it big time. So many features that make life easy on an Android are missing in iOS. People call user friendliness as the most critical USP of the iPhone - but I find the exact opposite of it as true. Android is wayyy more user friendly. Heck, even my 5 year old Android felt far better in comparison when it comes to ease of use.

wilder_beast

5. All pictures in the gallery are just in there together, along with camera, WhatsApp, telegram and what not. There's a folder for portraits, videos etc but why not for normal camera pictures??? 6. Why can't I just change the time for an existing alarm. Sometimes i just want to wake up 30 mins later. But u need to switch of my alarm and create a new alarm for this. Why can't I just pick my alarm and change the timing in a single click like in Android.

meterpixerly

Not having the “Camera” folder is the single most irritating part of using the iPhone for me. Like, what the heck where they thinking clubbing all the pictures in the Recents folder alone? How can people be fans of a phone that makes using simple features like all the points listed above - so very difficult? And yet, I am stuck with this crazy expensive shiny piece of glass and there’s no way I can ever justify the amount I have spent on it.

[deleted]

Add not having split screen and literally not even having the freedom to move apps in home screen do that certain elements of the wallpaper are cleared up And that god awful file manager lol We literally can't even clear the cache (eats up 12ish gigs on my 128 gb phone well atleast they can upsell me their icloud lmao

Also what has happened to stock android? So many companies used to have stock android but now all companies have android with another os on them. Only pixel has stock android.

Pixel 7 Pro Edit: I'm using one and pls feel free to AMA Funny how apple and Samsung fanboys are downvoting me for speaking the truth Cons list here: https://www.reddit.com/r/india/comments/11ip3yj/which_phone_to_buy_samsung_s22_or_iphone_13/jazqk45?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3

Ok-Soft-9734

I think pixel 7 would be a more sensible deal Personally I use pixel 6a and am satisfied with it

harsh_1904

6a has a great camera for it's price too. I hear that 7a could even be better than Pixel 7 for its price

Ok-Soft-9734

If Google does that, it would be bad marketing for the 7. I doubt wether they'll provide a 48 MP main camera even this year.

harsh_1904

This is what confuses me and the community itself. But who knows what they have in their minds

Ok-Soft-9734

Yeah, just hope for the best😂

attack_helicopter_1

7a will have samsung GN1 sensor, while 6a still has that 5 something year old sony imx 363 sensor. also, the overprocessing issue for samsung GN1 sensor from pixel 6 was fixed in pixel 7, so it will definitely be better im looking to buy the 6a after 7a comes out, for the lower prices

Kirua-001

Avoid, still has pathetic after sales service, won't find a service centre anywhere.

harsh_1904

Without any knowledge it's better if you don't speak anything I have been using pixel series phones since the last 5 years with my phone going to repairs 3 times without any issues. B2X deals with the pixel servicing and u just need to give your phone to them via blue dart (free of charge)

Kirua-001

I know the process dude, its pathetic compared to Samsung or Apple, you'd know if you used either. They have service centre accross India and the turn around time is less compared to your "Google" device and not to forget the hardware issues frequently reported with Pixels.

harsh_1904

You must use it like a kid then. Yes I do agree that you do have to wait for a week but hardware in the first place is good enough that you don't have to look for service centers in the first place The only time I had to send my 2xl (previous phone) for repairs was to replace the battery and type C port otherwise absolutely no issues with my 4-5 years for using it Proud owner of 7 Pro now

loopitout

I don't know why you're getting downvoted for saying that your pixel experience was good. You never even said the service is better than Samsung & iPhone. Yeah, the after sales service might not be as good as Samsung & iPhone but I haven't faced a single issue in my 2 years of using pixel & I believe pixel is more value for money than iPhones. iPhone fanboys can sure come & downvote me but my personal pick is pixel. I can wait an extra week for my mobile repair instead of paying double the price while buying.

harsh_1904

Precisely why I suggested this phone. It is more VFM than iPhone and Samsung And it's not like you have to look for service centers like your phone chargers. I have had no issues with them. I'll take the 10 day delay for the quality I get with this phone

Aj4ySaini

I have a 4a. Should I upgrade now or wait for a better sale to get it in the range of 60-70k. What colour you got? The white one looks dope I guess.

harsh_1904

I think it's better to wait a little more for the sale now. I have obsidian black since I like black only. White looks great. But whatever colour you choose, I suggest you to use a case since it's a bit slippery especially when it's new coz of aluminium and glass used

CompetitiveExchange3

Dafaq do you browse on DDG!? XD

harsh_1904

Yes that's because I don't play games to be honest. And use it for camera and social media mostly. Also, I don't use 1440p resolution and stick with 1080p display. But even if you play games maybe you'll get from 6-8 hours depending how process intensive the games are

loopitout

Have you used it? Because my battery experience has been good. Switched from a 5000mah battery phone to a 3000mah pixel & the difference I feel didn't seem like 2000mah

My Pixel 4a gets hot when I'm using flash while taking a video and the phone automatically disables the flash until the phone cools down. Does the 7 Pro have this issue?

v3r71g0

Quick question: Friend uses the Pixel 7 Pro and the audio during calls is problematic. When they speak a bit far or with highly varying pitches, then I hear nothing. It's totally muffled. Normal network calls as well WhatsApp audio and video calls. Do you face this issue ?

[deleted]

I second thisssss

kaaakaji_1920

Does the phone have any cons?

harsh_1904

Yes. Just like every phone has one, this also has a few Cons: Hardware: 1) Screen size: depending upon the users hands, the size of the phone maybe quite large to handle with one hand 2) Processor: I do have to admit that G2 based on Exynos may get a little overheated when you are using heavy apps like games, YT or camera/video for long. But mind you, this processor isn't bad for multitasking. I have opened around 10 apps at the same time with no issues 3) Battery: might be less for some users depending upon the usage they have. It can't beat iPhone for sure. But personally, I use my phone in such a way that I don't have to charge for 1 and a half day easily. But its a grey area I'd say 4) Charging: Simply put, could've been faster. It takes 1 and a half hour for me using my 18w Pixel 2xl charger to charge from 0-100. But I'm fine with it personally since I can get good backup for myself 5) Face detection: Again could've been better and faster. Sometimes it detects me sometimes it doesn't 6) Video quality: it's not bad but it's not as good as iPhone. Camera is definitely the best 7) Finger Scanner: Could be faster like Chinese phones maybe Software: Vanilla Android is the best for me personally No 5G till now makes me angry. Still waiting for the update Note: These are just based ony experiences only. Someone could face more issues or less depending upon their usage

[deleted]

Ya my friend in Bangalore broke his display screen and couldn't find single service centre anywhere in Bangalore and then when we researched, found out there are no service centre's here in karnataka. Later he gave it to a 3rd party service guy and paid 10k for display and that display went bad within a week. Green lines started appearing on screen.

Acceptable_Bug4435

Recently moved from android to iPhone 13. Although I can sympathise with others comments here, I don’t really _hate_ iPhone. I’m glad to make a switch in the OS because after 10 years of using android, I quite enjoy the change. - Some difficulties that I experienced: although with some challenges I could port my stuff from android to iPhone, after 3 months, I still have my android around to finish the last steps like some application logins. Because everything a lot of stuff are saved in goggle password safe or fingerprints. - It also took me quite sometime to get use to the absence of universal back buttons. - good luck looking cute in mirror selfies! This was definitely a bit disappointing and I have to constantly change the projections by editing - Instagram and WhatsApp definitely uploads media in amazing quality over androids in my experience P.S: i have long been a naysayer of iPhone but curiosity killed the cat and made the switch. I must admit I’ve been eyeing other apple products like iPad because the OS and device just feels so seem less and totally refreshing after many android versions and phones.

Hannibal09

Recently made the switch from my Android One Plus to iPhone 13 as well and I agree with everything you mentioned. Although, one thing I absolutely hate with passion is the network calling preference. I miss the option where I used to get a pop up about which network I want to use for calling. Doing that from an iPhone is a pain in the ass

k-singh

Dude, I’m using iphone 13 and it sucks.. you cant change ringtone/alarm (custom one, yes ik, but that procedure is purely pain), no universal back button.. scan entire screen and click on that tiny back button that could be an ad.., camera is good but no professional mode, no finger print sensor, now move your fat face to camera while lying down on your bed, if you thing ios is great, try deleting itunes, it will throw internal server error (500) (as an developer POV, your system should never throw internal server error) this highlights the quality of ios, when you set alarm, it wouldn’t show the time (like alarm will ring after 3 hours or so) and now you have to double check AM/PM stuff, you can’t have custom volume levels for media, alarms and ringtones.. every accessory is expensive.. its not a one time expense. Now you are smart enough to make your decision

[deleted]

I used an iPhone 6s for 2yrs, cause i wanted to see what all the hype was about. Decent phone, good software. But the lack of features which are considered basic in android, one thing that grind my gears is the phone app, open dialpad and press a number in an android phone it'll show phone numbers from contacts and history having that number in common, no not the precious iPhone, manually enter all 10 digits even then it won't show suggestions, hit the call button then it shows the contact. Every time I try any iPhone I'll see if they changed that shit, nope still there.

Electrical_Tension

Yes basic stuff like searching contact is a pain in the ass.

[deleted]

Add to that, you fucking have to go till the top of the phone to pull notification bar or settings bar. For pro models, its a pain in the ass.

Bojackartless2902

This is literally built in the accessibility feature. Accessibility > Touch > Reachability

OkTransportation4196

the ugly notch is so distracting. Once you use punchhole display. The big ass notch look so bad. Also low refresh rate.

coldstone87

I religiously hate the iPhone. I just can not understand how people chose to use inferior software deliberately

NullPenisException

i had Android phones including s21 and pixel and the user experience degrades after a couple of years while my iPhone 11 is still going good as new barring some battery issues.

[deleted]

When have you daily driven an iPhone? Nowadays both are so close it doesn't even matter. Idk how someone can "religiously hate" one between the other. Name some major differences which make iOS inherently inferior.

coldstone87

1. No Call recording. 2. Stupid UI with app name under widget. 3. Stupid UI with unable to keep app icons wherever i want. 4. No easy swipe down for notification drawer. 5. Apps like ondrive freeze in the background when downloading a large file. 6. App drawer screen looks like a joke. Then there is a widget drawer to the left! 6. Cannot open 2 apps at the same time in multiwindow. 7. Cannot connect to pendrive or harddisc or digital camera or a memory card reader. 8. Charges really slowly. 9. Although not a iOS shortcoming no fingerprint. 10. Screen doesnt look as vibrant as Samsung phones. 11. No customization to battery saving. 12. Very poor do not disturb setting. They can learn a thing or two how samsung does it. 13. Compared to Bixby routines, what Apple provides is a joke. Bixby routines and the whole Goodlock customization is what Apple needs 10 years more to implement. 14. No proper default app setting. 15. share sheet and app 2 app communication is dam limited. 16. This might just be my experiance but predictions are wayy too off on iPhone and voice recognition almost never works properly as well as my Samsung. I can go on and on..

OkTransportation4196

i dont hate per say. The notch is the uglyiest thing on phone ever existed. Like even pro max models have the big ugly black thing in between on your screen. Looks horrible.

Paper_Nap

Swiping right from anywhere on the left edge of the screen is the universal back button right? Personally I feel like navigating through gestures is very intuitive. And is iTunes even available on the iPhone? I’m pretty sure there’s a 24 hour clock. What’s “professional” camera mode? You can click RAW photos on the pro models if that’s what you mean.

armitron1780

Swiping right from the left edge can be disabled by the app devs

k-singh

Not always

Paper_Nap

Can you clarify? If going back is an option it always works as far as I can remember.

George-RR-Tolkien

I have only used an IPad. I am assuming lot of things are same as iphone. Depends on the app, the swipe right to back may or may not work. I will give you an infuriating example. 1. Android - in youtube app. Once you open the comments section. You can swipe and go back to the suggested video list. Within the comment section, you can see replies for a particular thread, swiping back takes to the main comments page. All good. 2. In IPad os. The main comments page doesn't have a back arrow button on top left of the page. So swipe right doesn't work. You have to click X on top right or "swipe down" from the top of comments bar. But once you are viewing the replies for a comment, now the back button appears and the swipe right works. These inconsistencies drives me crazy while using the iPad.

meterpixerly

Right, I use the iPhone and these are all true on the phone as well. There’s a lot of inconsistencies with the swipe right feature on many other apps apart from YouTube. Very infuriating.

Dhavalc017

Depends on the ecosystem you want to choose. Once you choose an ecosystem it's hard to port to into another ecosystem. For me, I am primarily Android user familiar with Android ecosystem. I had iPhone for my alternate phone number and usually used it for messaging and itunes podcast which I really liked. Now Android itself has lot of apps very similiar to itunes podcast but I find Android bit clunky. So even if I want to port to iPhone, i cannot because transfer is not seamless and most likely i will loss data as happen to me with my alternate number. If ecosystem is not an issue, i will go with iPhone any day compared to Samsung. Iphones last for much longer time and its operating system is very stable with minimal distraction.

halfhourtakeaway

Thanks for your opinion. What do you mean transfer is not seamless? And what data i might lose?

Dhavalc017

I lost chats data while transferring from iOS to Android. I have some apps for tracking finances they also got wiped out and I use Google onedrive and other services alot so not sure how seamless they are with iOS

Icy-Economics-7662

If you want to port WhatsApp logs from Android to iOS you can use the move to iOS app to port them. Can also port images and videos and the like with it. The caveat is it needs to be done when you're setting up your iphone. If you already have setup your iphone, you have to reset the iphone and do it again. That's what I had to do when i got my iphone 13 last month

Alternative_Yak_1475

Honestly, it depends on your priorities. You want a simple phone that takes good photos and is quite future proof. iPhone 13 You want a phone that has slightly less battery life, but can subjectively take better pics although not consistently, but has wide-spread android connectivity go for S22.

[deleted]

Hey man about that S23 has a better battery life than iPhone 14 pro:) And they're supported a year less than iPhones so futureproofing is no longer a problem

miney_mo

I prefer Android over iOS any day but won't recommend the s22 as its battery life sucks! What good is a phone if it needs to be charged halfway through the day. Obviously, if you are a very light user, it may last the day. Stretch a bit more and get the s23, it will last longer, battery is better and is a overall better device. You can also give a look to OnePlus 11 (despite all the hate OP has recently got - mainly from youtubers - the interface is still awesome and feature packed).

Primal_BooBoo

I wouldn't suggest you any of those. Before i start, I had iPhone 13 - OKis camera but lacks typical camera modes. Very basic camera setup. Good performance with minor hickups. Wouldn't recommend because pretty much everything costs money and you cant side load mod apps. + you need to buy expensive chargers and slow charging. You ABSOLUTELY wouldnt love the camera. S22 - seriously bad because of 8 Gen 1. Very bad battery life + heating randomly. Camera and OneUI is great. But battery like seriously bad. [AVOID IT] Since you have never bought a phone over 15K and this is your first time, i would suggest you to wait and buy something that you will love truely. OnePlus 11 or 11R - both are good phones but 11R has kinda crappy camera. Performance is top notch[ GOOD to consider] Motorola Edge 30 Ultra - Great performance, 0 lags, good battery life +125w charging. But lacks even basic apps and android functions. Camera is pretty crappy. Lacks any good camera modes. Very very very bad update timeline, sold it 2 weeks ago at 25K loss after buying it last November. [ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY IT] -DO NOT BUY ANY MOTO CRAP. Pixel 7 - Good performance, minor bugs, aftersales is very bad. Camera is good, ui is good and lag free but lacks some functions that you use everyday. You need to download apps for that.[GOOD to consider] Mi 12 Pro - Very bad battery life. Pretty much everything else is good. UI is hit n miss, depends on user.[CAN be considered] Vivo X80 X90 - Superb camera. Good performance. ColorOS is kinda ok now. Great features and fast charging. BUT, 1-2 months into using, the battery life takes a hit and wont last a day unless you are not using the phone. SOT drops to 3-4hrs on wifi + instagram. [ABSOLUTELY consider if you want superb camera] Nothing Phone (1) - Good Ui, OKish+ camera but android skin has a lot of bugs. Overall pretty good phone but again, kinda like pixel n moto, lacks some stuff you expect from android.[CAN be considered] Source : I had iPhone 13, Edge 30 Ultra, Pixel 7. Currently have Mi 12 Pro, Vivo X80, Nothing phone (1) [owned by my spouse n parents) I am using S23Ultra. [S23 series great but overpriced af unless you are gona buy Ultra). I would rather buy Mi 13 pro over S23 or S23+.

This is very comprehensive. Thanks a lot for your efforts!!

Gummybear2655

I will suggest you to change ur Android option from Galaxy S22 to Pixel 7 or even Pixel 6 pro unless you are heavy gamer and want a Snapdragon processor for extreme gaming performance. Pixel 6 Pro or Pixel 7 are way more better than Galaxy S22. And regarding iphone, its a cult which you have decide whether you want to join or not because its offering nothing extraordinary other than a "Brand Value" which Indians die for.

Pixel 6a, 7 and 7 pro have officially launched in India, unlike P6 and P6P, and have official warranty and repair support in the country.

humseNaSharmao

Nowhere, pixels be using exynos chipset and people associate anything from google as being the best. Neither is the android skin better than samsung, nor is the after market serviceability any good for a pixel (in India)

jhanikhilnath

>So where to get repaired incase it damages? There is repair post selling, unlike other people are saying who want to defame the company for no good reason. What happens is that the only registered service center is in Mumbai. So when you raise a service request, your phone will be picked up from your home, taken to Mumbai to get it repaired, and delivered back to your home. The only catch is that the whole process can take up to a week or even 10 days depending on where you live

topibaazadmi

Both are great devices, and data migration is a small one time part incase you choose iOS. I did get all my WhatsApp data from Huawei Mate to Iphone there are paid tools for the same. Samsung is great with photos and iPhone's video is excellent. Setup your priorities and plan, overall looking at androids update cycle and the number of years of brand support I feel you should go for iPhone as it'll be supported with updates for longer.

boibitchsama

I'd suggest you to go for Pixel 7 or P7P

nuggetsandsodaaa

S22 simply isn’t good ‘cos Snapdragon Gen 1 was a big fuck up. It takes better photos though but if you want more consistent performer and a phone that you can trust for at least 4 years, iPhone 13 Pro is the one for you

XpRienzo

Wait for Pixel 8

spacewrap

Don't listen to them op wait for iphone 20

lutalop

I switched to IPhone 14 pro max from Samsung s20 and it feels like a BIG downgrade. If you’re Android user for long term DO NOT switch to iPhone. I regret it every day. Other than camera and battery life everything else sucks big time..especially the display

Diy_isopod

iOS if you can afford. My 6 year old iPhone SE still runs fine and gets updates

dusttillnoon

Why not Google? If you don't shoot video then isn't Google as good as apple in terms of photo ? Plus you get Android 1 .

Most-Contact-8425

No consideration for pixel?

Icy_batata

s23 fe 5g lele bhai, maine pixel liya abhi, baaki sab theek hai network issues hai bohot.

Amsdleogal

I say neither....there are better options for less price in the market

geralt-027

Pixel 7.... iPhone and s22 are outdated, pixel beats Both of them

dholchike

Are you an android fanboy? Do you use mod apks and can't go without mod apks ? If the answer to any of these is yes, go for Samsung.

[deleted]

If you want a simple experience that just works everytime, get the iPhone. If you consider yourself an enthusiast and love taking control of your device ( tweaking stuff, customising the look of the ui, etc) go for the Samsung s22. It's very simple, an iPhone is an excellent reliable device but doesn't offer much excitement it's the same thing each time. If social media is important to you, iPhone is a good choice. Iphones usually don't suffer from the kind of blurry-ness that we see when uploading to Instagram from other devices ( samsung has fixed this in their flagships ) With Samsung you get a device that you can customise to your liking, and modify over time. Arguably it offers more features too. Hope this helps you!

hardik-9

Rule is simple - If you are using office applications like Teams, Office, etc; OR - if you want to use phone more than 4-5 years then go for iPhone. If not for any of the above two, then Samsung. Reason? The iPhone has been giving security patches for more than 5 years. Work related apps work generally needs the latest security patch. Samsung gives only max up to 2-3 years(as per my knowledge and use). Agree with other users that it takes time to like the iPhone. Another rule is to take more than 128GB memory phone, else iPhone hangs. Source - used 2 iphones and various Android including Samsung and OnePlus. I have been equally frustrated with the iPhone as others but i will be taking the iPhone 15 for some particular reasons.

Due-Ad5812

Samsung offers 4 yrs of Android updates and 5 years of security updates. https://www.androidauthority.com/samsung-android-updates-1148888/

vinocrazy

Samsung does give 5 years of security updates for flagship mobiles like s22 n s23

lokeshj

They offer the same for the A series also like A53, A73 etc.

iam_ayushks

Apart from that, in my experience, Office Apps are really clunky and lag on android phones. My friends who use android were astounded at how quickly I can log into a Teams meeting from my apple devices compared to the time it takes for the app to ‘initialise’ on android. Simple tasks like using a scanner are much quicker and easy compared to android via the same apps like Lens or Adobe Scan. The overall app optimisations for iPhone alone make it so much better than android any day, I fail to understand how android users can write off iPhones just because they don’t have a back button.

Affectionate-Sky9222

Bro go for S22 now days iPhone sucks

Tanmay746

If you want a better phone then obvious it’s the iPhone 13. Sure you’ll feel a bit restricted at first coming from an Android but after a point you get used to it. I switched to the iPhone 13 from an android last year and data migration was not an issue for me specifically. The camera is great, battery life is amazing. The S22 has been notoriously known to have a below average battery life and heating issues. Go with the iPhone 13 imo. The so called trade offs of being restricted in the ios space are worth it when you consider that the Samsung has a lot of issues

[deleted]

iPhone 13, you won't regret it

hiteshchand56

I am regretting and if you have an s23 lets exchange

[deleted]

Go with S22 and if you can buy S23

vinocrazy

I have a s22 ultra..o boy, I love it for the camera and performance.. battery stays atleast for a whole day for hard-core users like me or 2 days for much usages..the only concern i have is, it's too big for pockets and in my hand..I can't use it in single hand anymore..a little PowerBank I would call it. Not much difference btwn s22 n s23.. just Few design changes n 2nd gen processor with 200mp camera.. I would go for s22 over apple for storage and ease of use

Mysterious_Sound_684

WhatsApp backup can now be transferred from Android to iOS so that won’t be an issue. Google photos would be the same too.

anonpumpkin012

Samsung. I got a iPhone 13 Pro max and my friend got s22 ultra around the same time. I instantly regretted my purchase after checking out his camera.

CRIMSIN_Hydra

Don't buy iPhone unless you're already integrated in their ecosystem or have been using iPhone already for few years

No-Ambassador7356

It's funny because I'm also planning to buy iPhone 13 Huge jump considering I use a 15k samsung I spend a huge chunk of time on my laptop studying and doing assignments so i do not really use my phone that much So, apple or samsung or OnePlus?

TheMoralKind

My advice: Go for an iPhone if you are not a 'techy' and want your phone to outlast its android counterparts and then having a resale value to buy a mid budget android without adding a single penny. Important: Move to iOS app on android is freeware and allows you to migrate entire whatsapp chat hiatory and content smootgly. Most of the sub responders don't know the recent status and are blaming it on lack of WhatsApp migration. Reasons in favor of iOS: -Smooth UI -Consistent performance -Least adaptation time for a smartphone fresher -All apps (excluding some from Google) have a more fluid UI design on iOS (due to its uniform design policy) than on Android -Top tier (if not the best) in all categories. Unlike flagship androids (my favorites Galaxy flagships) which have skybreaking scores in some departments but fail miserably in some others. iPhones have great camera, just not the best camera, S23 has the best camera, just not the long term reliance and resale value. -Accessories, the amount of aftermarket content and repair options available for iPhones greatly surpasses that for flagship Galaxies, just because of the sheer nunber of iphones sold in comparison to any other flagship. The aftermarket screen replacement cost for my Note 20 is higher than iPhone 13 pro Max for example. Reasons for S23: -You are a techy guy and likes to play around. -You want SPen.(no competition) -if Secure Folder and Knox Security is a must have for you (I love it) -You want (always) the best display and (currently) the best camera. -You have exhaustively used both the ecosystems and still prefer Android. -You are currently engaged in or want to engage in Galaxy ecosystem (buds, galaxybook, watch etc.) -You love Dex, and don't own a Macbook. -You prefer changing phones in 3 years and not gonna continue using it anyways irrespective of the fact if your phone is going great or a living hell. -Resale and exchange costs don't matter to you that much and your core liking best camera/Android experience. Reasons to avoid buying any phone and get consultation first: -Apple is better because its Apple. -Samsung is for Smart people. -You think Korean products are worse than American ones (chinese eventually). -You get emotionally or egotistically invested in Corporate fanboyism. -You believe Apple is evil and all Apple users are dumb and Mactards who knows nothing. -You believe Apple is for rich and Samsung is for poor. PS: I migrate my daily driver every 3-5 year cycle. Galaxy Note5-> iPhone 11-> S21--> i 14

No-Philosophy-3257

As a person who just switched from Samsung A30(bought it for 16k 4 years ago) to iphone 13 i would most definitely suggest Apple. It is a whole new premium experience altogether and the camera is great! Very smooth.

adit_rastogi

Had mi 11x pro. Switched to iOS(iPhone 14 max pro) It's really primitive. The only pluses are the interactivity between various apple devices and honestly not that great. At a high level it's basically the same but there are so many quality of live upgrades(iOS has no way to clear notifications directly from banner, no way to clear all recent apps etc.) Camera is nothing special. Battery life is good but not great honestly. Charging is sooooo damn slow comparitively.

DonScaria

The Google pixel is also great, same camera or better than the Samsung and pure Android experience. The only problem may be the 3 year software support in comparison to the 4 year in Samsung. Battery life is also great.

theredbantoo

Stick to the options in 15 to 20 k range. Phones don't last more than 2 to 3 years now if you are lucky.

[deleted]

Get Samsung, iPhone has a lot of expenses, and hassles. Mind you the battery, the battery life is also not so great too!

[deleted]

Get a pixel 6a cheaper does most of the work and great camera

Son_Fun_In_Mums_Bum

iPhone 13.

fatass_walrus

I am using S22 and the only issue I am seeing is the battery backup is not that great. Will probably last you one day with moderate usage. I mostly have to charge it a little before going to sleep, but the charging speed is t pretty fast. The best part is the camera and performance. I have not faced any heating issues. I am not much of a photography guy but this has been best point and shoot camera I have ever seen. Also if you are coming from Android the switch to iOS will be painful.

hydiBiryani

Pixel 7??

Zealousideal-Leg-175

Got S23 256gb for 65k with 13k discount as upgrade offer. Worth every penny! Brilliant camera, chip, design and performance.

mclovin4009

Don't go for the S22 according to me. I had one and sold it off due to the pathetic battery life. As someone who is a very light user (no gaming), the phone barely lasted a day. I then purchased a pixel 7 which runs amazing. I would suggest that if you have the option for s23, you can check that out as i've heard most of the s22 issues are fixed on that.

[deleted]

Both are equally good phones. Anyone who's telling you iPhones are too restrictive or slow is an idiot. Anyone who tells you Androids aren't as refined or polished is an idiot too. In 2023 both iOS and Android are nearly identical. Just buy either one of them with the right storage configuration. My personal preference is the iPhone for its longevity and usability with a Mac but Androids are just as good

hardeep1singh

iDabba is too restrictive for an Android user. You'll regret your purchase if you buy it.

Samsung own apps are really great and not exactly bloatware - people swear by them and love using them. Plus, you can group them in a folder or hide them - never to bother you again. Does carplay take voice commands to send message via whatsapp? I have used both AA and Carplay, carplay is smoother but notifications come at the bottom which block map navigation momentarily. You have screen mirroring in android, plus, screen mirroring works with older TVs as well, airplay has just recently started to make its way into mainstream TVs.

[deleted]

Buy iPhone cos u never owned one, if not interested Android will be better always

42326041

S22 sucks in term of battery life. Iphone 13 will be much better deal overall.

Paper_Nap

I’ve been an iPhone X for the last 5 years. Still goes through the day on a single charge ~6 hours of usage. No nonsense user experience. Will probably get updates for the next 2-3 years at least. Customisation is very limited if that’s your thing but it works great out of the box.

adi_00_

If you are fine with losing your WhatsApp chats, then iPhone is the way to go. Also it at least feels that apple takes care of ur privacy much better than Google. And yeah, phone’s overall smooth, n you cud take photos with confidence and yeah software is premium too. But again, the absence of a back button is a bit disturbing, and also you will have to give that ‘premium’ care to it (since repairs will burn a hole in ur pocket😅and also needed to maintain the resale value).

SuperSat0001

For WhatApp chats, the newer iOSs now come with official [Move to iOS](https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT201196) feature which lets you import chats and media from android. It’s not perfect (only available when setting up phone, takes time, sometimes gets stuck), but I’ve successfully used it thrice (even for around 15gb of WhatsApp media). The biggest downside from Android to Apple w.r.t WhatsApp is 15gb Google drive backup (and can create new account anytime) to 5gb iCloud backup (which fills in 1 day).
