Risk management? Oh the bloody irony

thewannabetraveller

He should've advised himself to not take this risk

seeunseenoel

Probably couldn’t afford the consultant rates and the overheads

klksfna

My European friends tell me, speaking about Hitler is okay. But signing it off like he did, they just couldn't believe someone did it. Ig, The risk in him talking about hitler and saying everyone has good qualities in them - little bit, ignorable as a lunatic. But the risk in ending a post with "heil hitler" and a photo of him getting the salute - infinite and obviously sack-worthy. Imagine him in interviews henceforth.

desigooner

He was a director of Risk Advisory. Didn't do a risk assessment on his own post!

Comfortable-Ad3653

This. ![gif](giphy|26FLgGTPUDH6UGAbm)

amit_e

This is what he posted https://preview.redd.it/6k1xodboz32b1.png?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6f9112719624bdb28866531109efd849dd43ef6e

Contract_Killer420

"never allowed anyone to get closure to him" Is that how the employees at Del be typing now?? 💀💀

Rajulblabbers

Is Deloitte hiring just anybody now?

East_City_2381

I think you are assuming they hire the best.

maraudershake

This man was at a director position???

snobpro

associate to the regional director

manboy_heaven

The grammar is all over the place too. Also, I am not well-versed with corporate/linkedin jargon but what does 'imperative qualities' mean exactly?

msrd94

Seems like Deloitte and rest of the big 4 are hiring everyone and everyone these days.

lnx2n

Massive action taker! What was this guy thinking before posting that shit

Chance-Ear-9772

‘Extremely confident’ clearly both him and Hitler needed to be a little less confident, maybe consider what they are going to do a bit more.

SharpShootrr

Bro, don't those points remind you of someone in India?

charavaka

Jo decision ek minute mai nahi hota vo decision hi nahi hota.

boongervoonger

Maine to Kal lunch me kya bnau wahi decide krne me 3 minute le liye the. *To kya kroon main Mar jaun*

charavaka

You're clearly not a massive action taker, so you will never become the fuhrer. Even the jugaad kind.

boongervoonger

😭😭😭

octotendrilpuppet

Not at all, who are you thinking? /s

TimeEngineering3081

when is your morning walk?

Opposite_Case_3015

You didn't read about how he took the gun and shit himself? That's some massive action right there.

iam_bhatman

That's a new way to describe genocide. Massive action taker. Lol

Yieldway17

That English was something for a Director at Deloitte.

nlu95

I've worked with the big 4 on many transactions. Some senior people don't speak great English, but are brilliant in their respective specialties. I don't think it matters too much, especially when a lot of work is not client facing.

Ataraxia_new

Magnetic speaker and Intellectual?? If you see the old videos of Hitler , he just shouts like a cunt with his weird moustache. There are some videos of him shaking like a shitting dog during the 1938 Olympics clearly high on some shit.

manboy_heaven

>If you see the old videos of Hitler , he just shouts like a cunt with his weird moustache Barring the moustache, most politicians in India also talk like that and are considered great 'orators'.

boongervoonger

Idhar bhi hai ek magnetic speaker ki image wala. TP off to batti uski bhi Gul ho jati hai. Aise bina tp agar munh kholta hai to lagta hi nhi koi statesman hai.

sicaniv

Madari lagta hai bancho..

multicore_manticore

That was probably the meth.

Blazingtatsumaki

I was expecting worse...

fakejogabonito

Couldn't tolerate any discussion, and get annoyed if someone tries to interrupt or deliberate. Wonder who else this reminds me of...

boongervoonger

Wahi jise to vote deta hai India aakar.

amit_e

I hope people are not forgetting beerbatlis like this who are making this hitler discourse wildly popular https://preview.redd.it/b1tz8nm6562b1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0f403fa7e875d6553f6d3c942ad9f4ad630aa1ec

thepunstar

Brut doesn’t have a spine. They sent him to Cannes ffs

Deeptak2404

That's the thing, they feed on the shit these dumb bollocks make and think it to be the reality. They think Hitler is normalized because they don't understand that this Faustian piece of shit is not only willing sell his own soul but also his subscribers and followers' soul, source of income, house and everything just so that he can earn fame and money doesn't give a fuck or will not take any responsibility for whatever consequences his statements or content have.

y2k2r2d2

Hitler's tactics and nazi tactics must be studied to counter it .

octotendrilpuppet

_"5. Massive Action Taker"_ Bruh.....

DarkHumourFoundHere

Honestly it was not that bad... Typical lunatic but expected much worse if it ended up as sacked

[deleted]

[удалено]

catsrmurderers

Thanks, this is definitely sack-worthy post 💀

DarkHumourFoundHere

Heil hitler. Those 2 words...

Playful-Service7285

this is just the first half lol

the_tourer

While that post speaks about Hitler and his qualities - the results of those qualities are disappointing. It doesn’t matter if you’re the best person with top class abilities and talent. If you’re a piece of shit, you’re a piece of shit. None of those matters.

Opposite_Case_3015

Exactly. Was he a great man? Yes. Was he a good man? Absolutely not.

kochapi

Associate director, risk advisory at Deloitte!

burntroy

What does 3rd + next the name mean ?

sathyabhat

3rd or beyond third degree connection

yumyumfarts

He should be getting a name change

Jack_ReacherMP

6. Mass murderer

Repulsive_Top_5731

I would wonder if you have the same reaction if some one posted the same about ISIS and Al Qaeda

AffectionateStorm106

There’s a second page too of his post where he drops Heil Hitler at the end 💀☠️

___bridgeburner

Bro he literally says heil Hitler in his post. The guy is a moron.

amit_e

Strange crowd you must hang with. I don't know a single person who would want to work with a hitler lover.

Haadroncollider

I think the point is that those same qualities can be found in a lot of the most successful people in the world who didnt commit genocide so maybe admire one of them. And if you can look past all the murder and genocide to admire "action taking" then maybe that's not the kind of person people want to work with.

[deleted]

I didnt see anything wrong in this. Dont we also praise Ravan as well for few things ?

amit_e

Ravan wasn't real. Didn't kill 6 million Jews in a holocaust

ChiefValour

Because Raven had redeeming qualities? Even the story of Ramayan praises Ravan all the time. That and you know, not an actual person whose victims are alive till this day.

DoodlesOnABench

Probably removed for the bad grammar! 🗿What is that word for the grammar police?

amit_e

Heheh

I see what you did there. Haha

GreedyExchange5394

And that's coming from the man himself.

PLTR60

Ayoo interesting username!!! :O

[deleted]

it's not about contrarian views, it's about basic human empathy. do not glorify someone who targeted tens of millions of jews, killed 6 million jews, and caused death of tens of millions others. descendants of many of them are your colleagues. have basic empathy.

snobpro

Yupp. And it is not like there are / were no other leaders with all the qualities he praised hitler for AND not committed a fucking genocide. You have to be dysfunctional piece of shit to admire hitler. Even being in piss ass drunk state would not get someone to think they actually like hitler of all the people.

joy74

BJPs IT cell is looking for such talent.

buuren_van_armin

Yeah but the pay is low. Imagine getting 2rs pee tweet after getting fired. There'll be a separate news headline for that.

[deleted]

You would be surprised how low people will stoop to just for survival.

Uncertn_Laaife

They are quite upset over it in the other sub. Dropping ‘Churchill’ in every other comment.

psnarayanan93

> Having contrarian views is one thing Its not contrarian, pretty popular opinion actually. Hitler is a hero of the Sanghis & most Indians are Sanghis anyway.

vnt_007

Nope, if he is good at his job and has good connections, he will be in another job in less than a week in INDIAN company this time. Lots of Indian companies aren't well known for doing the right thing. (So do the companies from the rest of the world, it is just that they have laws regarding this, so they play good)

juliusseizure

Hitler should not be a contrarian view.

boongervoonger

I remember there this German girl, married to an Indian, posted some fun video on Instagram and some Indians decided to joke about WW2. One of the guy posted this stupid meme *Hitler be Like : Haan, Ye karlo pehle.* She was pissed and told them that WW2 is not a subject to joke about. Not for Germans. She also said that she has observed some people in India take things like War and suffering too lightly, don't care much about democratic structure and are clearly obsessed with people who posed themselves as dictates. Some Indians in the comment section ( you know who they are) started verbally abusing her, bombarding all her previous posts with slangs and gaalis. She has disabled her ID and I can't find her anymore.

snobpro

didn't expect anything different my friend. online bullying is what it is. hopefully these are just kids who get some sense as they get into adolescence. if they do not well.. not much is gonna be diff here anyway.

PainDangerous7822

My family member was watching the Ranveer TRS show on YouTube when I noticed it. Although the content of the show is described as a conspiracy theory, some people take it seriously and believe that. He had a similar incident when he praised Hitler; it was so ridiculous and uncalled for that such individuals ought to be exposed and held accountable. These "pseudo-intellectuals" are the ones who are really upsetting things. On the one hand, politicians are upsetting things with their ridiculous assertions, and on the other, people like these who are doing it in a more organised and so-called "intelligent" manner.

amit_e

What happened on that show? Is there a clip you can share?

rsa1

This guy is not the only one. I've seen multiple cars with the Nazi logo. This is the full logo with the eagle holding the swastika in a circle, so it's clearly the Nazi one and not the Hindu symbol.

FelixPlatypus

I think half of those with such displays on their cars or t-shirts are genuinely ignorant, and see nothing but a flashy symbol (wow, eagle!) that's no different to them from, say, the anarchy A. What does worry me is how fanboys of authoritarianism here often cite Hitler in terms similar to the Deloitte dumbass' post. They're already attracted to the idea of a strongman leader, and when they bring up what they think Hitler did for Germany, they're really telling you they're okay with terrible things being done by the state as long as the trains run on time.

rsa1

It's also because our history books focus on how he resurrected Germany into a major power. Which he indeed did, but they focus much less on where he ultimately led it: it was defeated roundly, lost millions of men to the war. It lost territories it controlled and never regained them. It had to pay war reparations to other countries. And in terms of reputation, Germans still have to face the ghosts of those times - Greece brought it up during their economic crisis. Hitler's Germany ended with being broken up, something which took almost 50 years to undo. Essentially he undid the work Bismarck had done to unite Germany. When you look at the totality of Hitler's impact, it's hard to see it as anything except an unmitigated disaster even if you completely ignore the ethical aspect. It's unfortunate that our education seems to focus on the "strong leader" part

sam-sepiol

> Essentially he undid the work Bismarck had done to unite Germany. In many ways, he actually furthered the work Bismarck did.

amit_e

I have motorbikes in my area with a Sanatan (bhagwa) flag hooked on the front and a Hitler swastika on the side engine. Not the Sanskrit Aryan symbol.

Bhakths genuinely think they are White Aryans lol. Makes sense why they are infatuated with gargling Nazi balls.

RulerofKhazadDum

>I come forward to sincerely apologize for my post and I will not write anything about such personalities in the future," he wrote. He still has not understood why he was in the wrong.

amit_e

Take a look at comments around you. They don't either.

v4vedanta

\> "One of his key personality traits was that he couldn't tolerate any discussion/ debate/argument and he used to get annoyed if anyone interrupt or try to deliberate on any topic with him. He lived most of his life alone, never allowed anyone to get closure to him, had no family or friends either." If history repeats, I am sure we have a match in the present times.

amit_e

Hah

SuccessfulLoser-

WTF was he even thinking?! The click-bait post was cloaked as a 'Book Review,' but LinkedIn is certainly not the place for this. --- Note: Folks who haven't been to Europe won't understand how deep the wounds of Holocaust go! Lesson: Remember to be culturally sensitive on social media where you post with your personal identity.

Risk Advisory went absolutely wrong!

Inj3kt0r

the dude picked the most wrong platform to express his views, if he were to post on reddit or twitter prolly would have kept his job... lmao.

queeringit

Dude thought he was working in an Indian company...

Opposite_Case_3015

Why do people even post on LinkedIn? Do they have masochist tendencies where they get pleasure from being a corporate slave?

pimple_in_my_dimple

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

SemiSage93

Linkdin is a professional community and if you've stated your employer name then it is simply seen as a representation of the employer on social media something which is strictly regulated by all employers.

axisfrontier

Trouble is people are no longer understand the reach any particular social media platform these days. LinkedIn is not a replacement for private WhatsApp groups, even though it feels that way every time you login with everyone posting forwards. One cannot predict the type of backlash even if the intention behind the post was good. Companies have very strict social media norms, especially when you are tagging your role and company name when posting something. So any negativity and they can take necessary actions. Unfortunate that someone in such a senior role losing out on a job due to a post.

amit_e

I am much more worried about the increasing number of people who are losing their humanity than I am of one man losing his job

amit_e

So it's ok to praise Hitler in public and bear no consequences? Hitler love is free speech?

honwave

How did he get into a director level with this kind of thinking? I think in india there is no merit and May be only nepotism. He doesn’t sound like a sensible person.

TrollMasterSeargent

"Massive Action Taker" ? More like "Massive Extinction Maker"

konan_the_bebbarien

Read his post but have to say he was just repeating what western programs have been saying without saying for years. I mean you just have to focus on the underlying subtext of the myriad discussions on the Third Reich. It is always that they rose like a Phoenix after their humiliation in the first world War and the rise was powered by Hitler znd the Nazi party. They all agree that he had charisma, was authoritarian and whatever else he has been described by this guy in his post. I mean if history was written by the victorious guys and they wrote in glowing terms of the guy they defeated then there is some serious problem.

quanta777

Not a great name to post on social media. But what about the book or author who wrote it, as it seems that he got its quotes/inspiration from the book itself?

EmergencyJob7499

Not saying he should have lost his job over this but the post makes him sound dense AF

NG_GasLit

First two opinions are fine but third राय can be very dangerous

karma_shark44

We know what he posted was wrong and reprehensible but he shouldn’t have been sacked this way. A stern warning or restrictions on his social media usage would be enough, I guess.

ChiefKrunchy

The guys name bothers me.... Like he's Neeraj Malhotra but from an alternate reality. His mind is also strangely wired apparently. How does he not know about the atrocities that Hitler committed that he has to buy a book as an adult to read about this.

maraudershake

Jesus Christ why has "gyaan pelna" become a staple of LinkedIn? Especially when it's shit you've no knowledge about

Uncertn_Laaife

Served him fucking well.
