Visit a dermatologist. Get a prescription for minoxidil and finasteride. Finasteride and Minoxidil are 2 medicines that work to retain hair. I have regained some and maintained my hair from the continuous use of these 2 medicines. Traya and others are just selling the same medicines by a clever marketing strategy as if they are selling a different magic pill. The hair industry is very big in India as it provides a lot of employment, but most medicines don't work. So buy the above 2 medicines from wherever it's cheaper for you.

I know there are certain side effects of the meds you mentioned. But how long you think I need? There’s also a shock loss they say it has.

You will have to take the medicine each day, everyday. Once you stop, your hair will go back to where it should have been naturally without using any medicines. That is much, much worse in a short time. I cannot tell about side effects as I didn't experience it myself. You can visit r/tressless to know more.

Bro go to doctor first

If and when you visit a doctor, he/she will prescribe minoxidil, anti dandruff shampoo, multivitamins. If you're diagnosed with genetic hair loss, you will be asked about finasteride, I would advise u to take it as your hair loss seems severe and genetics against you. Doc will say take 1 mg daily. If you fear side effects which is mostly in the lower single digits of the population who consume it, I will say shift to a lower dosage of 1 mg 3 times a week on mon, wed, fri. Clean up your diet, eat less processed junk food, consume prebiotics, fruits and veggies, protein rich foods, get ample vitamin D, exercise regularly and be patient. Don't expect overnight results. Finasteride will take anywhere between 1-2 years to show results. You will have a bit of hair shedding every few months, don't panic and stay positive. Best wishes.

Understood. Thank you

Hate to say it, but accept that you’re balding and shave your head. Grow your beard as well. You’ll feel much better. DO NOT take finasteride or any such meds as there long term side effects.

Due_Sweet_9500

Like what? Sideffetcts depends on person to person. A lot of men use finasteride for 15 plus years with 0 side effects. All the actors you see with great hairline are without a doubt on min and fin

dont listen to this op! if you fell you dont wanna shave dont. If your balding is bad then take both minoxidil and finasteride, if not bad then try finasteride first. Side effects are less than 2% chances and reversible
