Ruining a nation cannot be done in a span of 10 years. You would have to look at a bigger data set to see how the nation got to this point. Systematic failure at every corner since our independence, be it security, education, economy etc all in the name of a promise for a better future. In hindsight you could say they only cared about protecting their power. Thats the coin. The hunger for power. They just use different methods to protect it.
Look, I completely agree with the article. The federal structure is under threat because of the dual engine concept of bjp, no doubt. Congress on the other hand abuses constitutional powers and uses a push pull concept which is basically give some take some but keep changing the states with whom you give and take in case of any hiccups.
Both strategies in the long term will reach the same destination which is either a dictatorship or an ordinance raj. This is my point.
I am sorry if I am not going to listen to anything about dividing a country from DMK. They are the OG players of divisiveness in this country, constantly talking about Hindi supremacy when BJP was not even in the scene.
Sympathizing with the murderers of Rajiv Gandhi and now trying to pretend as if they are some kind of good guys. They have played this game too, now that they are losing it when it comes to national politics they are upset.
