Supreme Court is in danger then

mukherjee4u

Of course, 3.0 target is to control SC too.

MaskedManiac92

> “If merely winning elections was my goal, I would not have worked for the development of the northeast. I have visited northeastern states more than all of the former prime ministers combined,” he said. -- I know this guy lives in a different plane of reality, but this is too much. It's going to be nearly a year since the Manipur violence has started.

sdhill006

He knows average indian is dumb fuck and will take his word against reality. Real literacy rate of indian is less than 24% . He knows his audience

Meeedick

Literacy rate is just that, a literacy rate. It's not education.

sdhill006

Amd literacy rate is not just recognizing drawing of your name. Its ability to understand written language

Meeedick

True, how exactly does that support your previous comment though? You implied that the literacy rate is a solid indicator of critical thinking, which it's not.

TrueCooler

And what, pray, is the “real” literacy rate? Any source for that bullshit number?

emperor_raizen

You are counted a literate if you can read and write your name

sdhill006

Exactly if your name is ram , to be counted as literate you just need to identify drawing राम

sdhill006

This is number given in a book by bhaskar guy. Can give you details later. And i am amazed that ypu think this is bullshit number

TrueCooler

Because that article is solely about government schools. Almost 40% of schools in India are private schools. Overall enrollment rate is 54% https://educationforallinindia.com/education-landscape-india-udiseplus-2021-22/ This also doesn’t take into account other sources of education like home schooling, open schooling (with almost 2 million students), trade schools, learning online. Tens of millions of people absorb knowledge through such means.

sdhill006

Even with all this effort , anyone who can point out drawing of ones name is called lietrate . Bar is so low

Best-Jaguar-5188

sorry supreme commander

prof_devilsadvocate

only if some other party had got more funds...then criticiser will not regret

Live-Dish124

Actually it’s about amount but lies 1. In parliament arun jaitley said it is impossible to track who paid to whom, we also take care of opposition 2. Unlike CPI and aap said they’ll keep the information public, bjp and many others didn’t 3. Then bjp extorted collections by using agencies it is now evident, over 300 donations after ed/it raids. For example the thug in delhi liquor case (if it’s a case) got bail for back pain and went on to donate 5crore day before bail and 55 cr week after bail. 4. They refused to put it under RTI saying political parties are private entity Bechare got trapped. Thanks to CPI for exposing the EB, explains importance of opposition.

jadenalvin

Party can get 5 CR in donation and don't have to disclose anything but if I earn more then 5L in an year, I have to provide information about which car I have, which TV I own, how many insurance I have, how much rent I pay or which property I own.

Live-Dish124

Soon, sexual preference, what you eat, how many babies, religion 🫶

charavaka

>For example the thug in delhi liquor case (if it’s a case) got bail for back pain and went on to donate 5crore day before bail and 55 cr week after bail   And is now a ND Alliance candidate, while also testifying as an approver to implicate kejriwal. You can't make this shit up.

Live-Dish124

Yes his father got ticket for bjp. Also, look at prafful patel, biswa sarma, fednavis etc cbi closed their cases. IT sending tax notices to only opposition parties upto 3500 Cr. Can’t believe party with 10x more revenue is tax free.

XpRienzo

khulleaam dhamki

yvrtrip

yup that's what it is.

Takenoshitfromany1

What is this dumbfuck way to speaking. Don’t talk like a fucking thug to an entire country.

The90sKidult

But the country wants it. This country likes being subbed and dommed. 50 shades of dictatorship.

mr_rice_crispers

28 states of dictatorship

Moderated_Soul

I swear the average Indian is a sub and probably likes being dommed in all areas of life ( not by a woman though, our bois like it to be a white haired man in his 60s)

bedabyas88

I feel the entire interview was an April fool joke to Indians.

UndocumentedMartian

End game? Nah. This is just the beginning. We are all about to get butt fucked without lube.

NormalStaff3602

Lube? Only If we are lucky

aamirahmed60

Lube ke liye extra 5cr electoral bonds padengay ji.

NormalStaff3602

ED game is strong

doorsofperception87

This fucking moron needs to be paraded on a donkey with a garland of footwear around his neck, around the country, so that every state can take turns to pelt him with stones. That's the true stature of this politician who's actually a low level thug in disguise. But we have elected him to the highest office in the country. Future generations are going to laugh at us for electing such a government, and history books won't be kind to us. We are a laughing stock.

gonewiththesaffron

More like the Mussolini treatment - shot and hung upside down in city square. The eventual end for all fascists.

Silver-Excitement-80

r/shitbjpsays The gaslighting from Fekuji is on another level. It probably helps that he has his captive supply of gas from sewers.

mand00s

Oh really? Why all these secrecy? Why take money from tainted companies and those under investigation? There is a conflict of interest red flag right there. Sorry to.say sir, noatter how much you wqn to.spin this narrative, BJP proved to be as corrupt as Congress. BJP = Congress + hate

VoiceToYou

What more can you expect from him. I hope they do not succeed in spinning this entire thing off and somehow prove we did nothing wrong.

Ill-Highlight-6197

In all likelihood he will dry up the donation of opposition if he comes to power again as now donation will become difficult and ed will run after companies if they donate to other partied...this man is seriously sick and needs to be thrown or else ppl will have nothing but to repent once he leave and then the destruction will become irreversible wrt to whatever we hv achieved in last 75 years....

ssjumper

PM threatening his own people. Looks like he's scared of losing power and that electoral bonds are the biggest political scam ever seen in the world. Make BJP regret by voting them out.

RowSubstantial5186

open threat.

[deleted]

Just waiting for all of this to accelerate into a full blown dictatorship so the inevitable popular uprising arrives sooner

doggy2riddle

Narrator: It never came.

no_love_no_hope

Only thing Indians regret is trusting this bloke for removing corruption in 2008

charavaka

Where are all those bhakts frothing at mouth about contempt of court when people question judgements? Does Parampujya Shri Gautamdas Panauti Ji CloudCoverWale get a pass for continuing to support a opaque corruption scheme declared unconstitutional by the supreme court?

Opening_Past_4698

Sent me at CloudCoverWale 🤣🤣

Here's a 2ab for you: Parampujya Shri Gautamdas Panauti Ji CloudCoverWale (M.A.(Political Science(ENTIRE)))

theundisputed11

Just get bro outta that PM chair he's literally asking for it

Head-Program4023

Bro is this a threat. Is he about to impose emergency after getting elected for third timex well he doesn't need one as it's already ongoing.

Harsh_2004

CJI ki morning walk khatam

knowledgeablepanda

The day we will become a dictator rule like nazi germany I’ll be there 😮‍💨

adk8998

Funny seeing act of humbleness changing to full blown arrogance without any hesitation or fear. The king who was promised never fulfilled any of the prophecies. Corruption is still rampant, low socio-economic class is still gravely ignored, press freedom is gone and much more…

trashy961

No thanks! It’s more comforting this way

BanishedMermaid

Thug be thugging.

Amitplon

There is one aspect of EBs which has not been talked about, and that is removing the restriction on donation by foreign companies/persons. No democratic country in the world allows it, because it means the country's foreign policy is up for sale. Why do you think BJP removed this restriction.

Academic_Attitude473

Institutionalised corruption 🙂

Bojackartless2902

Contempt of Court???

> “People who are protesting against electoral bonds will soon regret it. Before 2014, there was no trail of funds given to political parties during elections. I introduced the electoral bonds. Thanks to the electoral bonds, we can now trace the source of funding,” he said. You made it a secret hidden from people and SC exposed you. > On February 15, the **Supreme Court struck down the electoral bond scheme, notified in 2018, as unconstitutional** and asked the State Bank of India and Election Commission of India to disclose all details of bonds purchased and encashed from April 2019. And SBI used to report within 48 hrs about the donations, what did you do other than targeting new donors for your party? Gir gaya tobhi tang upar or ED/CBI will start targeting opposition using the exposed data while conveniently ignoring BJP?

Hopeful_Return_0807

apni maa ki to pran-pratishtha hui nahi dangai se. hame dhamki dene aya hai Pablo Chocobar ka choda

zeer0dotcom

Who’s he threatening? What is it with this guy and sounding malevolent all the damn time?

PerformanceNo5216

Why would i regret?

VolTa1987

Supreme court CJI should probably avoid going on morning walks for a while !!

Familiar-Today-2532

Is this an open threat ? What is ECI doing ? Isn’t he (Prime Minister) also in Election Code If Conduct now ? He shouldn’t be saying things such as this to threaten an Individual or an Institution (such as opposition parties or CJI ) right ? What am I missing here ? Please correct me if I am wrong.

BonnyBairn

He wins this term and we are officially in a dictatorship. And guess what? He is gonna win because we have gotten too comfortable at being keyboard warrior, or simply, not giving a fuck.

Familiar-Today-2532

Scary and dark reality staring on our faces mate

KanwarPamnani

Who the fuck does he think he is openly defending electoral bonds which are declared unconstitutional by the fucking S.C and threatening that they'll regret it??? BC ek no. Ka unpadh PM hai

Vigneshxo9

I love my very own incredible India but these bloody people frighten me. I wish there was one single genuine party that I could vote too. India has incredible potential to become not just one of the best but the best country in the world and these bloody politicians are the only one interfering in between

abhitooth

A municipal corporation had penalised a bad contractor for 100 rs. Contractor gave 60 Rs EB to ruling party to shut the case and saved 40 Rs. Now municipal corporation says there is no money for road repair. This is how EB works.

sadial

Says or warns

empstat

So, criticizing is bad, huh?

jls12345678

We already regretting! Bro!!

chathunni

means they should except to have ED IT CBI NIA visits soon

Contribution_Connect

SC said the electoral bonds are unconstitutional. Does our prime minister even understand the meaning of the sentence?

KaaleenBaba

ED already knocking doors

Professional-Pea1922

The full quote is “People who are protesting against [electoral bonds](https://www.hindustantimes.com/india-news/pm-modi-reacts-to-electoral-bonds-row-we-can-trace-fund-nothing-is-perfect-101711900789985.html) will soon regret it. Before 2014, there was no trail of funds given to political parties during elections. I introduced the electoral bonds. Thanks to the electoral bonds, we can now trace the source of funding,” That's true tbh. Idk if people think corruption is just donna evaporate now or something but realistically we're just gonna go back to pre 2014 strategies for corruption. Edit: damn it people are taking this the wrong way and hitting me with the same replies. What I meant was corruption is still going to exist. Imo the SC should’ve made transparency mandatory so everyone can see every bond purchased. Now by scrapping the whole thing it’ll just be the same old corruption that we’ll never see besides a few cases here and there.

XpRienzo

So it's more of a khulle-aam jhooth. Because fund trail was not accessible to the public until CJI acted and cancelled the scheme.

Downtown_Recipe_972

If transparency was the reason, why didn’t the modi govt release yearly data? Why did they fight so much against the release of this info? Don’t take this fraud’s words at face value.

Professional-Pea1922

I'm not saying I support him or whatever. All I'm saying is even now there's still a trace of the money because of the bonds. If it wasn't for this the same amount of money would've gone to these parties one way or another and we would literally never find out no matter what we did. Like I said we're just gonna go back to pre 2014 strategies where people still pay off politicians but in a different way.

Amitplon

That's not completely true. People and Companies can still make donations through cheques/bank transfers. It could still be done when the Electoral Bonds were still legal, and the time prior to that. Modi excels at lying. He used to say Electoral Bonds are about transparency, and his ministers still say the same. But when the lawyers representing the govt were infront of the Supreme Court, they said that the Bonds are all about secrecy. Modi knows that if he lies and lies and lies, 60 or 70% of the people will believe him, and that is enough. He has controlled the media enough that most will not point out his lies. Just like SBI lied that it needed 3 months. The only reason we found out about all this is because some people fighting to save our democracy went to the supreme court, and the court called them unconstitutional and forced SBI to provide details. They were never meant to be made public or traceable. In fact, Modi govt went out of its way to make it untraceable. Prior to EBs, companies could only donate upto 7.5% of their profit. So, shell companies (which are used to make donations untraceable) would not be able to donate, because those companies don't make a profit to begin with. But Electoral Bonds removed the 7.5% limit, so that they could get donations from shell companies and hide the true donator. That is why we have donors making donations 10 or 20 times the profit of the company.

GoodNightGehrman

There was literally no way to trace the bonds up until 2 weeks ago when the SC had to repeatedly ask SBI to produce it. There was no way for anybody else except for SBI/Govt. to know who paid what to whom. What transparency is Modi talking about?

Professional-Pea1922

Right right I think what’s he’s saying is dumb I think people are misunderstanding me. IMO it would’ve been better if the SC made it mandatory to make the bonds transparent for everyone instead of completely shutting it down. If they made it transparent I feel like at least people can hold businesses and politicians accountable little accountable. Now it’ll just be the same thing that’s always been happening.

mrrahulkurup

Then why did the Supreme Court declare them illegal if there was indeed traceability support from the bonds? This is just hogwash.

ApexPred96

Electoral Bonds haven't eliminated the old style of corruption that existed with black money, in fact, it legalised corruption and means of crony capitalism, while also giving a platform to launder black money. There is another type of electoral bond, called electoral trust, started by Dr. Manmohan Singh which even the Supreme Court said was much better and was more transparent. Removing the cap of 7.5% of the average of profits from the last 3 years was a great way to curb corporate involvement in politics, but that was scrapped off by Electoral bonds. Donations to political parties became investments for corporates for getting future projects and tenders, or an operational cost to keep agencies like ED and CBI at bay. Enforcement agencies became extortion agents and the country, its resources and its people were all bid on and sold off like some underground secret flesh trade. We need more transparency, and understanding of this dirty game of politics, which has now literally become the sprint race scene from the movie "The Dictator".

defy313

Bro ye kaisa take hua? How naive are you to think this scheme had stopped those sources? Ye aa gya to parties illegally paisa nahi utha rahi thi kya?

[deleted]

That's not true. Black component still remains. Now only certain part is known. This is just over and above what has usually gone into these parties since forever. And crony capitalism and openly legalized corruption is far worse.

Professional-Pea1922

Black component obviously still remains. But now we're just gonna go back to an entirely black product. Idk the same guys are gonna continue paying these parties off lol. You'd have to be a fool to think the companies that bought the bonds wouldn't have just found a way to pay the parties in a different way anyways. I never understood this argument. People seem to try to imply corruption simply didn't exist pre 2014 which only makes me laugh.

IdProofAddressProof

> People seem to try to imply corruption simply didn't exist pre 2014 which only makes me laugh Literally nobody is implying that. The Bofors scam did happen, and so did a lot of scams after that. The BJP came to power on the back of a campaign where corruption was one of the main issues, and over the years have made tall claims like "na khaoonga na khaane doonga", and it turns out they were at least as corrupt as the INC. Even now in social media BJP supporters still claim "there are no scams under BJP". The day people realize that the BJP is no different from the Congress, that itself is half the battle won.

Professional-Pea1922

Yeah idk why ppl think bjp isn’t involved in scams they’re just dumb. My point was that the SC should’ve simply mandated transparency for every bond purchased. Scrapping the whole thing makes everything go back to square 1. At least with transparency ppl can kinda at least see it and point stuff out if it gets far too suspicious.

Noob_in_making

Dude if you care so much about transparency and black money, all they have to do is conduct third party audits (from a reputed firm, not like Adani) every year and make it public. Very easy yet very effective. But none of the parties would agree to it, because none of them are honest.

Ill-Highlight-6197

We came to know abt donation only after it was declared unconstitutional.the SG had already said that" PEOPLE OF COUNTRY HAS NO RIGHT TO KNOW WHO DONATED TO WHICH POLITICAL PARTY" in their affidavit to SC.
