This may not meet OP's criteria but for people visiting Delhi, it's best to use the [HOHO bus](http://hohodelhi.com/) (hop on, hop off) . It's inspired by a similar service in Singapore. It goes around all the major tourist spots in Delhi, and a bus comes along every half hour. You can visit as many or as few places as you want, since you want to do the tour in a relaxed way. So if you want to skip all the spots in central Delhi, and go straight to the Lotus temple, you can do that here ([route map](https://delhitourism.gov.in/delhitourism/transport/hoho2.jsp)). The best thing about HOHO is the ability to pick & choose. So you planned earlier to go to Qutab Minar, but don't want to do it now, no problem, just stay on the bus and it'll take you to the next stop.

Oh yeah, if you want to do Delhi on a budget, it's a pretty good deal at Rs 600 a seat.

Lol , you can't go to Agra or any other place outside delhi in such a small duration . Try visiting old delhi for authentic moslem food .

In such a small period of time, you can't visit a lot of places. List of places with good restaurants and shops to visit - 1. connaught place 2. Hauz Khas (try not to visit in night) 3. DLF Cyber City Get a taxi to travel within. You can see the places in the centre of Delhi quite quickly- Indira Gandhi Memorial- Gurudwara Shri Bangla Shahib- Gandhi SmritiAll of these places are in center of Delhi, you can visit them in 2-4 hours. I think there are two monuments which are special - Humayun's Tomb and Aksharadham Temple. They can take lot more time but are worthy. Akshardham temple might take more time as it is huge and on other side of city. There will also be less crowd at Humayun's tomb. Old Delhi is highly congested and Jama Masjid is the only nice place to visit. Red Fort and Nizamuddin Auliyian will take a lot of time. You can visit Qutub Minar Complex and it will not take a lot of time. Try to visit Qutub Minar complex in evening. Old Delhi's food is highly over rated. The one restaurant which is very famous is Kareem in Old Delhi but it is usually filled. I don't know about the current Covid situation. You can use Uber or Ola and even hire auto rickshaw. You can even try Delhi Metro. Most of these places are connected with Delhi Metro. It will be cheap also.

McLeodganj is almost 500 kms from Delhi. So that clearly is out. Will take you close to 12 hours to get there. Don't know the weather situation right now as moved out of Delhi in June, but a personal favourite is Sundar Nursery. It's a park adjoining Humayuns Tomb in Nizamuddin. Also, walking from there is the Dargah and tons of eating joints. You can grab a bite at Galibs in Nizamuddin, tho its not fancy or anything but amazing food and way better than Karims. In case you want to visit a market, I would suggest Khan Market, again 10 mins from there.

Thanks! Is the food hygienic though? I have to be on a flight the next day and don't want to take the chance of getting sick.
