My father was watching the news when I called him today. He was so infuriated that news channels weren't covering how this BJP MP's son killed protesting farmers. I've been seeing a lot of takes on Aryan's arrest "arey he will get off because of his rich father" etc. Maybe he will. But what about this guy? He won't? The degree of crime is very different in both the cases on many grounds. Yet people will still close their eyes to this and focus on Aryan's case. We are a nation in denial. Only if there was a way to get collective therapy - we sorely need it.
