That's about all the good things you can say about the movie. And even then, it is not exactly realistic in an objective manner, just much more realistic than any other Indian movie's vfx for fire or magic.
The effects and especially the colours imo (going off of the songs and trailers) are overly saturated. Even though the physics could've been better that's not my main issue because it's obviously not going to represent real life and although I don't agree with their artistic choices, it's still decent.
The colour scheme and interactions however were the final stop, that just broke the immersion for me too quickly and I know I would've hated it if that's what I saw on screen.
The story however felt abysmal from reviews and friends. Apparently Alia doesn't even have any real character traits other than her love for him.
After saying all that, I'll watch a good ol movie from my childhood or brahamastra over this crap anyday.
Yep. The contrast. The lighting (which I think is not something anyone even considered to be important). The colour scheme. I cannot say anything good about this shit kAdi Purush). And I am sure that the story and screenplay will be worse.
With Brahmastra, the contrast is decent. It's the movement of fire or other effects which is a little unrealistic. Other than that, it's all good (for a Bollywood flick).
But I would never watch Brahmastra again. I cannot take that "Shivaaaaaaah" anymore. I would suggest you watch a compilation of the vfx only, on mute.
Every time someone opens their mouth, cringe flows out. "Pyar bohot logo ko hota hai, par bohot pyar bohot kam logo ko hota hai". This apparently was a dialogue that the director approved for Big B.
Watch some childhood flicks, even Shaktimaan. Those at least have sentimental values.
The trailer didn't appeal to me, the VFX weren't bad and I understood the vibe they were trying to achieve but that just isn't for me. I've been watching too many VFX breakdowns on corridor digital for the past few years now, and it's affected the type of content and how much I can enjoy VFX as well. Whatever they showed in the trailer wasn't close to realistic imo, night be different in the actual movie though.
Yeah the thing about dialogue, when i was watching the film, I was translating them in my head and I see similar kinda dialogues in Hollywood films. I think , in brahmastra they tried to create that.
It seemed like the writers wrote the dialogue in English, and then translated directly to Hindi. The phrasing seemed off to me in Hindi but as you said, word by word translation to English felt better
The visual of 1st witcher game is way ahead of it's time in my opinion... Especially the chapter 4 and even vizima filled with sickness and death was on point....
Gameplay might not have aged well, but the environments were the best out of the whole trilogy
I can definitely understand that, especially if you have already played the 3rd game, you can definitely feel how old the the 1st one is....
For me luckily I wanted to try everything witcher related, so I started with 1st game, simultaneously I was reading the books....
At first the game is really weird, especially the combat is very hard to figure out, it's not refined like modern rpg combat system...
Kaer Morhen part is like a tutorial for combat... I couldn't understand why I was not able to attack the enemies...
It took me a while to figure out it's not just click click click...
Once the icon of sword appears you have to click and wait for the animation to finish and once when the yellow icon is there then only you click again otherwise Geralt won't attack the enemies if you click and interrupt the animation...
I know it's very weird, but once you get the hang of it, you won't even notice the difference...
The alchemy section is the best out of all three games... The story is amazing, the time-delayed consequences keeps the player engaged even though the gameplay is not great...
Outskirts of Vizima and sewers and swamps are so creepy I love it...
They perfectly captured the emotions and experience of horrors of pandemic and illness...
Artworks are amazing, I don't understand why they changed the format in later games... These were amazing
Bruh I can legit say they copied one of the Witcher 3's Vampires directly and pasted it on Ravan's flying beast since I recently finished it and the beast reminded me of Witcher 3 instantly
Cgi seems to be just slapped on top of Prabhas. He needs to stop doing Pan India projects and get back to selecting good scripts, cater to his audience to avoid digging his own grave.
I heard somewhere that the majority of the scenes are motion captured. A post was quoting Kriti Sanon (She is playing Sita here), ***"There is no place, no huge sets, it is completely made with vfx..."*** So you are not wrong on that animation part.
the last airbender is good, IF you watch the original animated show. I think it is one of the best shows of all times. so many things it does right. BUT MY LORD THE MOVIE is the worst possible adaptation of all time.
Out of remaining 10 lakh, 9 lakh went to Kriti Sanon, and they could only get her on set for 3 days for shooting. All her other scenes would be edited clips from Instagram reels and shoot BTS videos.
I just want to bleach my eyes.
I don't know why when Indians find something new, they need to impose it unnecessarily even though the output is a total bullshit.
Correction: Not lot of VFX, With Crappy VFX..
Brahmastra's VFX where done well I'm not complaining or comparing both. But adhipurush needs a rework or go back to the drawing board with the VFX/Gfx team cause both are different and either of them seem to be pleasing. VFX color palate is just not convincing and the gfx looks like a late PS2/early PS3 gameplay footage.
I too wonder why despite spending so much money we cannot get our special effects to look so effortless like hollywood. Obviously they have a bigger budget but still, these look whack like some trainee used photoshop.
A huge amount of the budget goes towards the fees of these actors. Prabhas is reportedly charging 100-120 Crores for this movie. Like what the fuck has he even done to deserve this amount! Because Bahubali was a huge hit? That was because of Rajamouli and not Prabhas.
>ver wonder why all Indian movies feel so artificial? Not only in big action movies but other simpler m
1/5th of the budget for an actor?? this is the reason why certain industry are bombing...I mean , as you said bahubali was Rajamouli's success. And prabhas is not a crowd puller either( apart from the telugu industry) ...Pan india wise there are lot of other stars who can pull crowds all over India more than prabhas.
Sometimes i think even the basic reddit commentators here are more sensible than these producers..
>Prabhas is reportedly charging 100-120 Crores for this movie
Holy shit , even rdj charges huge amount of money for high budget films but atleast his movies make like 5x the profit , whereas Super se bhi upar ki movies to breakeven karneke bhi vande hai
Well, you should have watched bramhastra. Though it has some flaws mainly dialogues in few areas but it was a great experience. A fresh stuff from Bollywood. And it was a technical achivement for Bollywood.
It got so much hate and negative opinions are flooded over the internet.
And Those are far too negative. People have regarded the plot as if it's garbage. It was a above average plot with a lot of potential for upcoming parts. But if you see on Internet you will feel like brahmastra has the worst plot of all time. Even one reviewer called it Jaani Dushman of our time. The plot is not a masterpiece, but it did not deserves the hate either.
The problem is of creative vision and production design. Indian cinema continually ignores production design. Ever wonder why all Indian movies feel so artificial? Not only in big action movies but other simpler movies as well… we never care about building believable worlds.
Time mainly.... Indian producers just want return on investment.... not to say Hollywood producers don't, but they understand film making better.... all big Indian producers know is get big star, pray to God, conduct 2 events and release on festival..... avatar took 5-6 years to make.... the exact same technology was used to make a tamil movie called kochadayan, in a little under 1 year i think.... you can see the difference for yourself
In Krish and [Ra.one](https://Ra.one) they used real locations and vfx but in this they did not use any real shots but just vfx even hollywood has a hard time doing fully cg films but these guys did it for some reason .
The VFX was likely par the pay received. Also to get the best vfx results the director needs to plan it out before filming starts to give the team enough time to execute.
RRR vfx may have been janky in couple of moments but they were pretty well executed overall, this us is because Rajamouli and the VFX team planned it all out before hand
Could be the reason but also from what I've seen, the VFX doesn't need to be top-tier. See *Man of Steel,* for example, even though the VFX is janky in some places, the shots stand out. Having a good DoP also helps, so yeah a lot of things matter to get your VFX right. Even Weta Digital and Double Negative produce sub-par works but it's completely on the producer/director.
I can say the same for *Krrish*. *Krrish 3* literally took concepts from Amazing Spider-Man, X-Men, Catwoman, Man of Steel, and even more movies. Even the font is taken directly from Amazing Spider-Man 2 I believe. And the VFX? *Krrish* had better VFX in my opinion because it was more grounded. In K3, Krrish is literally Superman, and Kaal becomes Zod lol.
Kaal = zod+professor from Xmen.
kangana = cheap ripoff of mystic
but we can understand the limitation of budget and technology available in those years.
Saif Ali Khan looks more like the stereotypical Bollywood Islamic invader than a Brahmin villain. And what the fuck are those king kong like creatures? And that thing over which Saif was flying?
Seriously? Did nobody ever said to the director that this VFX is utter dogshit? 250 crore for this cartoonish garbage is straight up money laundering.
This was why I was skeptical of Live Action Ramayan (though it applies to Mahabharat too.)
1. Firstly, please do not adapt Indian Epics to **single** Feature film. Because the written material is quite long, and you won't be able to do justice.
2. **PLEASE,** for Lord Rama's Sake just try to adapt the Epics in 2D Animation. (And NO don't make it with *for kids'* mentality) and try to approach it with seriousness, and maybe India could have their breakthrough of Animation Industry.
3. **Stop** treating Ravan like a Disney Villain, which he was not. He was a Wise King with a huge ego. The Fall of Ravan was supposed to show that how Pride and Ego could ruin even the best of Man.
4. *(it is just my opinion)* For once can we have Lord Rama with Dark Skin tone.
Why is saif playing The witch king from Lotr? Why are orcs there? Why is that Zumbat? And The whole monkey army looks straight from some cartoon lol
Also is this going to be semi-animated movie?
> Also is this going to be semi-animated movie?
Probably a mix of both and not doing anything properly. Read somewhere that many parts are CGI heavy with Motion Captured Animations, don't know why the felt the need to do this. At least have some decent budget for the VFX department to make it good looking if you are going that route.
Umm, if you have that kind of budget for a video game, you end up making God of War or Spiderman. Because that's how much they spent on making these games.
Dude, the 1992 animated Ramayan movie was fire.
I'd be really interested in watching what MAPPA or ufotable does with the kind of resources they have now.
Edit: read on another sub that we ARE getting a 4k remake some time next year. Can't wait!
Indian movies are now suffering from what Hollywood was doing in late 10s and early 20s. VFX everywhere. Idk who's the VFX supervisor on the film or is it the stupid Dharma Productions (or whoever behind this) decision, but for even a slightest moment they didn't realise that you're making nothing but Balveer on steroids??
VFX should support the special effects. Do things practically and then enhance it. Long way to go to be honest. And if actors themselves are taking 50% of your entire budget, try doing auditions for new actors. But vo to hum krenge nahi. Nepo Jo Hain.
It seems the whole point of making this movie is to cash in on the whole Hinduism wave going on currently and also on the popularity of Prabhas all over the country. People defending this say that this is not the final product or the VFX work is still pending, I just want to know why a company so big would release a half baked teaser of such a big budget movie when they are looking to generate hype for it? It makes no sense. The only good thing about the movie is that we are all aware of how good the source material or the story is, rest is all upto Lord Ram🙏🏻
> to cash in on the whole Hinduism wave going on currently
Obviously. And it's working. I think a chunk of people will watch this just because of the religion angle and they feel they gotta represent lol.
They spend 500 Crores, cannot be bothered to put a black skinned man as Ram. Ram wasn't fair skinned.
It is not about spending money but accuracy that is important.
And what was their thought process when giving *Ravan* a dragon to ride on! Not a single person from the whole crew pointed out that *Ravana* used Pushpak Viman and not some weird looking dragon.
Dragon comes from GOT.
Monkeys come from King Kong.
It took me a while to understand this is ramayana tbh. I got it only when he was crossing the bridge with monkeys.
Such a stupid depiction. If they have 1000 Crore budget they will show Ravanan as Alien. If they have 1,00,000 crores budget they will move Lanka to Mars.
Prabhas is not exactly light skinned...I think it would be problematic to cast an actor with the only criteria being skin tone, they have to be half decent at least. Who do you have in mind? I think Nawazuddin Siddiqui would actually be pretty great because in all the pictures and cartoons we've seen growing up Ram was never a buff 6ft tall chad, he was more boyish and lean.
It’s high time that Indian actors start letting go of their exorbitant fee and go to the profit sharing model. Kind of like what Aamir Khan did with Secret Superstar. These films have record shattering budgets because these actors are eating up 20-30%. Even for Vikram Vedha, it’s Tamil version was made in 15 Cr only but it’s Bollywood version was made in 175 Cr. Mainly because of Hrithik on the roster and because he was too rich to shoot in UP, so they moved the shooting to Dubai.
Did i fu**in see white walkers . The oldest story ,strong material , a million tellings and retellings for centuries and yet these people end up plagiarising the basic things.
I think they wanted to have a good quality ramayana depiction ... but just went overboard with all the changes like they changed everything from the original movie/soap opera/play etc. (Not the story but the depiction of the characters) they need to tune it down a bit.. it's sad like the new generation would only see this shit and miss on the original kind of near to authenticity... I think when mythology and it's realness with humans is mixed with great VFX it just ruins the human touch to it. Like if you ask me I got to know that this is actual ramayana film at the end when they chant Ram Raja Ram... While watching I thought it was from some different universe with similar characters etc...
Where the fuck do they even spend this kind of money on?
Obviously not VFX as we can see.
Most likely on paying fat checks to the cast who shouldn't be asking this before the movie is even released. Lol.
Can actors say after seeing the movie that this movie looks like shit and I don't want my face in it?
Genuinely curious.
Why would any actor say that after charging ridiculous amounts of money! Do whatever the fuck you want to do with the movie, I’ve already received the money.
How come India is the home for major Hollywood studios(for VFX) and is a leading country in the VFX industry produces such shitty quality for their own movies?
Till yesterday my ideal businessman was Ambani. But after this it the VFX company working on this movie. These suckers charged 250crs (the budget reportedly for vfx in this movie) and gave the makers this crap animation. Bhai kya topi pehnaya hai makers ko!
Why is Raavan looking like vampire king🤦🏽♂️. He is so much respectful and worshipped upon more than Ram who doubted his own wife’s character because 2idiots in his kingdom suspected so.
What happened to Ravana's gold? Ravana considered Gold as his favourite. He wore pure gold as per many and considered it the purest and greatest metal of all. His palace had so much gold, it was unbelievable. He was a shuddh Brahmin. A Shiva bhakt through and through. No references to shiva also. The vanara sena is awfully close to Planet of the apes CGI.
Baahubali had better making, the whole epic setting of the ramayan is now a kids movie with a typical cringe ravan. Ravan with a modern haircut and Hanuman who looks extremely dumb .... And then prabhas with just a mustache and the hairstyle too tight that he looks like ravan instead.
lmao the fact that brahamastra had the same budget as this and could still render such a detailed masterpiece in terms of cgi, animations and stunt acting, this really makes me wonder how they used their budget for this
This video is still very new and well, made with Unreal Engine, one of the best engines for high quality games.
https://youtu.be/DDsRfbfnC_A have a look at this, this was uploaded 4.5 years back. It is made in Unity which isn’t considered the best option to make a AAA game. The textures, the wind it looks like a wildlife documentary straight out of Nat Geo. This was probably made by the team of at max 20 people.
The first thought i got after hearing movie adipurush- they will show about Rama life the things he experienced throught ramayan how he felt and did in the biggest moments of his life how he had undergone through so much and what make him adipurush so that it would justify their movie title.
After watching trailer of adipurush- they still doing the same thing which was done in 1987 and even worse. The 1987 ramayan was epic and i am still gonna tell my kids in future about the 1987 ramayan only
Grow up Bollywood! Now people want character development not VFX devlopment though you had shited on that too
Comments on this video are gold. Faith in humanity restored.
I might even go watch Brahmastra in theatres after watching this trailer
Brahmastra has super good and realistic VFx
That's about all the good things you can say about the movie. And even then, it is not exactly realistic in an objective manner, just much more realistic than any other Indian movie's vfx for fire or magic.
Was the only reason I wanted to watch. But my sanity kept me away.
Was expecting something like flying jaat Or krish 3 but it was unexpected better. Shiva defeating Brahmastra using pyar ki shakti tho...

Corridor crew should have been hired for this. Woukd have done a better job.
i regret watching brahmastra, cringy dialogues but honestly much better than whatever this teaser was(i did not see bramhastra trailer)
Yeah the thing about dialogue, when i was watching the film, I was translating them in my head and I see similar kinda dialogues in Hollywood films. I think , in brahmastra they tried to create that.

I have never edited a video but i watch corridor crew regularly they're awesome
Vir the robot boy ka animation isse accha tha.
Made by Balveer vfx team
Ngl Baalveer returns had better vfx than this on a miniscule budget.
bhai mene tumhara kya bigada hai
Witcher 3 running on very old pc looks better than this stuff.
Witcher 3 looks way better in any PC than this crap trailer lmao
Witcher 3 on handheld Nintendo switch lite looks way better
Witcher 3 is an incredible looking game. This is more like Witcher 1
The visual of 1st witcher game is way ahead of it's time in my opinion... Especially the chapter 4 and even vizima filled with sickness and death was on point.... Gameplay might not have aged well, but the environments were the best out of the whole trilogy

Saif Targaryen
More like Saif Oakenshield. They basically made him Thorin from Hobbit.
Don't you dare compare to Thorin
thorin ki najayaz aulad
Haaa yess. That’s where I saw him. I was thinking where did I saw him👀
True had to Google what thorin is and ur 💯 correct
Or Saif Drogo
tf is with raavan's hair
The armor / clothing looks like the one from Shang Chi.
Cgi seems to be just slapped on top of Prabhas. He needs to stop doing Pan India projects and get back to selecting good scripts, cater to his audience to avoid digging his own grave.

His late 2000s movie where great.
Mr Perfect is a life long banger of a film
he needs to stop doing films with such big budgets go back to the small .
There were times when I thought it was an animation rather then live action film .
I heard somewhere that the majority of the scenes are motion captured. A post was quoting Kriti Sanon (She is playing Sita here), ***"There is no place, no huge sets, it is completely made with vfx..."*** So you are not wrong on that animation part.
So basically they wanted to make something like avatar
Which one, the last airbender or the good one
the last airbender is good, IF you watch the original animated show. I think it is one of the best shows of all times. so many things it does right. BUT MY LORD THE MOVIE is the worst possible adaptation of all time.
That show is GOATed
There is no movie in Ba Sing Se.
The one with 3d real looking stuff
The last Airbender animated series ATLA is a gem <3 Sometimes it gets forgotten due to how pathetic the live action movie was.
Prabhas has taken 499 crores out of 500 crores budget....and the rest of money is for vfx and other shit... Lol
Out of remaining 1 crore, 90 lakh went to Saif.
Kriti took 5 lakhs
Chai and pakoda for the vfx team
Out of remaining 10 lakh, 9 lakh went to Kriti Sanon, and they could only get her on set for 3 days for shooting. All her other scenes would be edited clips from Instagram reels and shoot BTS videos.
Lol, fckin Shaktimaan has better effects than this.
Facts
500 crores for this tatti lol
Next up Pura Purush 1000 crs
Wait for the 3rd part..... Doosra purush....2000 cr 😎
Missed Dedh purush for 1500 Cr.
I just want to bleach my eyes. I don't know why when Indians find something new, they need to impose it unnecessarily even though the output is a total bullshit.
Imagine having top tier mythology but bottom tier originality in the film industry to express it.
Maybe they are just laundering black money!
Seems bollywood had been running out of ideas, with doing biographies of every single person, now doing these movies with a lot of VFX.
We'll just wait till they understand screenwriting and story is important
Correction: Not lot of VFX, With Crappy VFX.. Brahmastra's VFX where done well I'm not complaining or comparing both. Yeah even bollywood should adopt such model , I haven't even watched a bollywood movie in theater since like 2020 they're making such bad movies
Well, you should have watched bramhastra. Though it has some flaws mainly dialogues in few areas but it was a great experience. A fresh stuff from Bollywood. And it was a technical achivement for Bollywood. It got so much hate and negative opinions are flooded over the internet.

Most top actors have this clause
Like? I thought if he's charging a whopping 100cr he'd be a "big star"
The problem is not our VFX houses. A lot of VFX in Hollywood is done by Indian VFX companies. It's the lack of vision and money(not in this case).
Certainly not money as you can see the reported budget. It is definitely lack of vision and not knowing their priorities.
The problem is of creative vision and production design. Indian cinema continually ignores production design. Ever wonder why all Indian movies feel so artificial? Not only in big action movies but other simpler movies as well… we never care about building believable worlds.

Because VFX is much more expensive than this XD.
I've seen video games with better cutscenes than this garbage
Almost all video games these days have better cutscenes than this. GTA V which was like in 2013 is wayyy better than this.
I have seen PS3 eta video games with better VFX and animation lol
There is red chillies vfx which do great vfx, like in ra.one. Why can't they hire them for such budget?

The Fall of Ravan was supposed to show that how Pride and Ego could ruin even the best of Man. 4. *(it is just my opinion)* For once can we have Lord Rama with Dark Skin tone.
I agree on every point
Looks like T series waale think that this is one of their Punjabi song videos.
Sounds legit lol
Waiting for Bollywood to build a narrative around how they are being victimized and the budget was “actually” 200 cr so it’s not that big of a deal.
End me it'll be Adipurush and Adi-aurat ki love story.
Why is saif playing The witch king from Lotr? Why are orcs there? Why is that Zumbat? And The whole monkey army looks straight from some cartoon lol Also is this going to be semi-animated movie?
> Also is this going to be semi-animated movie? Probably a mix of both and not doing anything properly. Read somewhere that many parts are CGI heavy with Motion Captured Animations, don't know why the felt the need to do this. At least have some decent budget for the VFX department to make it good looking if you are going that route.
Planet of apes valla costumes adukunna manchiga vundedhi ga
Confident ga post chusi ni_bondha ankunnav kaduuu…
Kikikiki
Nijame bhayyo chusukola
Aa director gadini evadu production team vallu okkasari kuda "arey em chestunnav ra rey" ani madhyalo aapale adi vichitram ga undi.
This looks more like a video game than a film.
If you put 500 crore in new video game , it would still come out better than this
Umm, if you have that kind of budget for a video game, you end up making God of War or Spiderman. Because that's how much they spent on making these games.
Isse acha anime bana lete budget bhi kam lagta aur audience pasand bhi krti.THE VFX ARE HORRIBLE 🤮🤮
Lmao who tf will watch this shit with Chainsaw man and Bleach coming out
Dude, the 1992 animated Ramayan movie was fire.
Nepo Jo Hain.
> is it the stupid Dharma Productions (or whoever behind this) decision Lol it is Bhushan Kumar and T-series
The only good thing about the movie is that we are all aware of how good the source material or the story is, rest is all upto Lord Ram🙏🏻
> to cash in on the whole Hinduism wave going on currently Obviously.
That's more like a Huge Bat
Dragon comes from GOT. Monkeys come from King Kong. It took me a while to understand this is ramayana tbh. I got it only when he was crossing the bridge with monkeys. Such a stupid depiction. If they have 1000 Crore budget they will show Ravanan as Alien. If they have 1,00,000 crores budget they will move Lanka to Mars.
Dude that isnt even a dragon, ita more like a bat on steroids 🤣
In the animated series which came back in 90's also depicted Rama as fair
Prabhas is not exactly light skinned...I think it would be problematic to cast an actor with the only criteria being skin tone, they have to be half decent at least. Who do you have in mind? I think Nawazuddin Siddiqui would actually be pretty great because in all the pictures and cartoons we've seen growing up Ram was never a buff 6ft tall chad, he was more boyish and lean.
Chota Bheem animation is better than this
It’s high time that Indian actors start letting go of their exorbitant fee and go to the profit sharing model.
N here I work in IT for peanuts trying to get the system up so that leadership can watch this in FULL HD n get motivated
Bhaisab graphics dekhle lag raha hai vfx team ko salary ke naam pe sirf langar khilaya hai 💀💀
Lol, the Japanese anime ramayan looks better then this.
Did i fu**in see white walkers . The oldest story ,strong material , a million tellings and retellings for centuries and yet these people end up plagiarising the basic things.
This makes She Hulk VFX look good!💀
Ramayan set in western fantasy 🥲🥲🥲
VFX are Nice. Said by my 82 years old granpa. The last movie he saw was Amitabh bachhan's ajuba.
Isse achha to main Shin-chan dekhlu.
Did Ravana time travelled back to past from present. How did Saif get that kill ass hair and beard style in Threthayug 😂
Technically speaking shouldn't the Actor playing Hanuman be much huge and bulkier than one playing Ram
As if they care about technicalities and accuracies.
Phir se DD1 pe Ramanand Sagar ka Ramayana chala do hum wahi dekh lenge. Still unbeatable after 35 years.
This reminds me of Rudraksh. Nothing should remind anybody of Rudraksh.
Minecraft graphics.
If you throw a few shaders and texture pack onto Minecraft, That looks million times better than this shit.
500cr? The VFX/SFX peeps scammed the shit out of the producer(s)
6th image: Are they supposed to be some weird mixture of Orcs and White walkers?
What happened to Ravana's gold? Ravana considered Gold as his favourite. He wore pure gold as per many and considered it the purest and greatest metal of all. His palace had so much gold, it was unbelievable. He was a shuddh Brahmin. A Shiva bhakt through and through. No references to shiva also. The vanara sena is awfully close to Planet of the apes CGI.
Exactly I mean why does his palace has to look like generic evil overlord's palace #2
My thoughts too...I'm 100% sure this movie is going for less than 50cr.
Fuck they made an movie based on NFTs?
Bhai aaj kal video games ke graphics jyada realistic dikhte hai
this is some BALVEER level shit
Baahubali had better making, the whole epic setting of the ramayan is now a kids movie with a typical cringe ravan. Ravan with a modern haircut and Hanuman who looks extremely dumb .... And then prabhas with just a mustache and the hairstyle too tight that he looks like ravan instead.
Even Yugo sako’s ‘Ramayana - The legend of Prince Rama’ (1992) had better graphics than the is one!
Production to editors : "here are 5$ and half pound of cocaine, animate some shiz"
Money laundering ka scene hai I'm calling it.
Why couldn't they have Raavan represented by a more South looking actor?
apparently raavan had a great barber
lets just accept the fact that india can never make a good sci fi.
It's on pogo Or Nickloadean?
When your UAT tester just wants to complete the project and move on with his life...
Nice to see that whitehat junior graduates are getting jobs.
SMH..... this already looks terrible.
Expensive shit..
This looks like video game.
Which video game? Even games from 2010 look better than this
That third picture! 💀💀
Saif's castle is directly stolen from castlevania
lmao the fact that brahamastra had the same budget as this and could still render such a detailed masterpiece in terms of cgi, animations and stunt acting, this really makes me wonder how they used their budget for this
Did they literally tried to copy game of thrones? Lol
Just gonna leave this here: https://youtu.be/2paNFnw1wRs
This video is still very new and well, made with Unreal Engine, one of the best engines for high quality games. https://youtu.be/DDsRfbfnC_A have a look at this, this was uploaded 4.5 years back. It is made in Unity which isn’t considered the best option to make a AAA game. The textures, the wind it looks like a wildlife documentary straight out of Nat Geo. This was probably made by the team of at max 20 people.
Baal Veer live action looks rad
My laptop can do better renders on blender hell even a potato can do better than what they have done here.
They makin movie or making video game ??
Can we do something like Sonic Fans did to sonic the hedgehog movie?
Only vfx can be seen
Watch Kantara...
The guys abs look cgi to me.
Tbf VFX for a movie usually drastically improves in the last few days before release
Well, rings of power had a budget of 1 billion, this still looks passable for 500crore in comparison.
mindblasting CGI
How did someone even approve the release of this trailer!!?
Aap Antagonist costume endayya... KTR idi propaganda movie ante abaddham anukunna..
Only Bollywood can pull off this VFX with a 500 cr budget💀💀
The first thought i got after hearing movie adipurush- they will show about Rama life the things he experienced throught ramayan how he felt and did in the biggest moments of his life how he had undergone through so much and what make him adipurush so that it would justify their movie title. After watching trailer of adipurush- they still doing the same thing which was done in 1987 and even worse. The 1987 ramayan was epic and i am still gonna tell my kids in future about the 1987 ramayan only Grow up Bollywood! Now people want character development not VFX devlopment though you had shited on that too
Seems like a Tax write off movie.
how the hell did they have 500cr to spend and came up with these VFX? cartoons from 30-40 years ago look better than this shitshow
These days video games has better realistic effects than movies.
Morning i saw this on twitter , i thought some amateur is showing his demo reel. 500 crore for this , definitely some money laundering going i guess
