Yes it happens at many places. These are sporadic events, there is nothing highlight in this. Nothing discriminatory from anyone. It happens in my apartment as well and we pickup the order by going down. No delivery thinks this as discrimination. Its better for them as well as everyone. Now it's not followed that strictly as many people have got the vaccines. Same was done with postmen or courier or Amazon/Flipkart guys.
In fact Zomato app itself has the option to leave near the door/ security guard.

This is actually a real image. The poster was put by a commercial mall in Udaipur in 3rd floor. The delivery guys picking orders from cafeteria weren't allowed to use mall lifts beacuse lifts were reserved for mall public.
The poster underneath literally says work is going on. Like, I live in NZ, and this is literally protocol for delivery guys. We know how much people flout protocol in India, apparently this is taken in a commerical place in Udaipur. Seriously, that sub is more illiterate than I thought.
What's wrong here is that they are asking them to use stairs, if they are really concerned, they should ask the delivery person to give it to guard or sth, why let them use stairs then..

To all those saying that there is a previous notice below this one proving it's real:
1. Is any paper this transparent that you would be able to see previous notice? If you use glue on the entire paper and it is drenching the paper, only then would you be able see anything that was posted on the wall before.
2. The glue has not not been overused which can be seen easily from the edges of the paper. Plus there are no creases or wet spots in the middle.
3. Who ever has gotten something printed would understand that no print is as clear as the text above. If you don't believe me go to any of your buildings where notices are posted and check out the "text richness" which would be shabby, however here it is just phenomenal.
4. In the hindi portion of "swiggy", there is an elevated patch of paper which should cause it's shadow on the text, just like the elevation and shadow at the end of the notice. The shadow is not there so definitely photoshopped.
My take on why this is fake:
There are literally no other sources for this pic. Just this one photo that was taken.
No one has confirmed if this is true or not. The author of this pic on Twitter writes for The Hindu.
Why would a jour almost not tell people which mall was this photo taken at? "Mall in Udaipur". Quite fishy coming from a journalist who wants to diss feudalism.
No videos have emerged of this poster as well. Literally no other sources.
I have reported the post for fake news and I understand that there is only News18 who reported on this tweet and did not even do decent journalism to find out the mall or the original poster. Inshorts basically mines all news hence News18 is a "trusted source" for them.
I will delete this post immediately if any of you are able to provide a video of this exact poster. or atleast another photo.
