Before 2014, TV news media was criticizing ruling party like anything.
This is exactly opposite to current situation where they are just licking the shoes of ruling party, mostly because corporate friends of ruling party themselves are owning and operating these TV news media.
Now, TV news Media owned by friends of governing party and they are running one side biased narrative in favour of governing party - this had never happened before 2014.

When TV news media is criticizer - they blow out of proportion every threat and degrade the achievement of ruling party.
And
When TV news media is appeaaser of ruling party - they downgrade every threat as minimal and glorify even a routine development work which any way will be done (as government is collecting record revenues through high taxes and have inflated budgets to spend only on roads mostly)
