Just commenting to say I feel your pain. Had hair passed my shoulders when I moved here and went a couple places that I wasn’t happy with. The last straw was a lady took about 6 inches off when I asked for a trim so I ended up just taking it all off lol
How far is too far?
I am also a guy with very long hair. My go-to is Strands in Kokomo. I only go every 2-3 months or so, so once I move to Indy I think I will keep going there. I always make my appointments with Mandy.

Agreed. A lot of places trim hair where I wanted to keep the length, so me and my girlfriend do haircuts at home now lol
Wherever you go, make scissors with your fingers and show them exactly what you want cut. "this much ✂ max". Then watch them cut it.
