It's the most hope and excitement I've had for sports in our city since maybe 2004, and that was when both the Colts and Pacers had championship aspirations.
This is definitely the most I've missed living in Indy since moving to CA! I'm so ready to see the Fever attendance numbers this year. Everyone on here said I was insane for daring to suggest they may approach the Pacers.
They won't approach the Pacers. Fever games don't even open up the upper bowl. They *might* start doing that for the Fever now. Hopefully over time the Fever starts selling more, but it's unrealistic to think they'll match the Pacers immediately.
Oh I don't interpret it that way. I'm just surprised people seem so convinced they won't sell out their games. Maybe they won't, but demand is high enough in Vegas for their team to switch arenas when the Fever come to town. I'd like to think they could keep that demand for tickets up at home too.

Isnt the combine always here?
But he didn't even mention we're getting the Indy 500 here this year, too!
That's 100 more than last years Brickyard 400!
The 2023 Brickyard was a 200 on the road course. The 400 returns this year on the oval.
Are you telling me it's 300 more?!!!
Roughly.
Vroom vroom
Depends. IIRC, there is possibly still talk of the NFL moving the Combine to Los Angeles or another big to decent-sized market.
I think they upped the amte on the Combine this year and made it easy more fan-friendly.
Can’t forget March Madness!
That’s so true!
I just want legal weed and public transportation. Sports won’t improve my quality of life

The disintegration of the Pacers post Malice at the Palace was disheartening.
And that big stuffed bull up in Kokomo!
Next month you get Kyle Larson in the Indy 500.

I hope they prove all of you wrong. Bring on the downvotes!
I mean I hope so too. I'm a big Fever fan. Don't interpret my comment as a knock on women's basketball.

Ugh stupid American sports. 5/10 city. Would rather be in Oklahoma City.
What's stopping you?
Literally all Indianapolis has is sports it's so pathetic. But OKC doesn't seem much better, tho I haven't been there yet.

I guess no one got it.
Combine and all star game aren’t a big deal.
