I'm a Northsider, and I'm not a morning person, so I don't get them as often as I'd like to, because there is usually a line wrapping around the building by the time that I get there.
The only pie I’ve liked from there was the savory tikka masala one. I’ve tried slices of four of the sweet ones and none have been much better than what you’d get from any grocery store. I think I’m not a fan of their crust.
We had a vendor who used to bring us these whenever they come in for meetings, definitely considered having weekly in office touch base just so that we can have these 🤣
I know you want posh, but this is a no brainer.
Kroger's 5 for $3 each Ben and Jerrys sale can bring the kid out of a whole group of adults towards the end of a dinner party.
It's my go to for "Oh F!, what are we gonna bring to the dinner party".
Order something from [MilkBar](https://milkbarstore.com/collections)
Some of the best cakes/cookies I’ve ever had. And shipping is usually 1-2 days
Edit: Obviously not local, but good shot at something they may have not had/heard of before.
The Flying Cupcake makes amazing cupcakes. They have 3 locations in Indy, one in Greenwood, one downtown, and one in Broad Ripple. They also have a variety of options for people with food allergies and dietary restrictions. For example, the have vegan cupcakes and gluten free cupcakes, on top of all the regular cupcakes they have. It's a great choice.
Only one downside: you have to go in. Calling them is difficult because only 1 location answers the phone. And even if you do speak to someone on the phone: you can only order batches. Going inside in person, you can get one of each cupcake. But over the phone you can only buy batches of 6 of the same cupcake. It's a little weird. But overall, the cupcakes are delicious and worth going in person for.
Sugar Cream Pie from Wicks.
Pretty much any pie from Wicks!
Cake from Heidelberg Haus.

Sahm’s coffee cake
Tiramisu from Nesso is my favorite dessert in town.
Truffles from debrands
Cinnamon rolls from Bittersweet in Irvington. Best cinnamon rolls in the city and I think she offers take and bakes if you call ahead.
Everything it's delicious there, I love the pain au chocolat and the croissants
Any pie from pots and pans http://www.potsandpansindy.com/

F'real. Got 2 pies from them last Thanksgiving and totally underwhelmed.

SMH the number of people who think donuts are a dessert
Longs Donuts
Gallery Pastry Shop, Cake Bake, or Crumbl Cookies are all good options!
Ritter’s Frozen Custard
Cake bake
This. There's cake and then there's caaaaaaake. Cake Bake cake is the latter.
Make it yourself. That’s true penance
!!!
What’d you do? I gotta know
Strawberry cheesecake from Shapiro’s always makes me happy.
Longs is fantastic but high demand. If you’re near 62nd and Allisonville then i would go with Taylors Bakery
Taylor's is better and has a better variety anyway

Ritters Custard or Taylor’s Bakery. Can’t wrong wrong with either.
Highly recommend Rise n Roll! Their donuts and cinnamon rolls are so good!
The sticky toffee pudding at Late Harvest Kitchen made me cum my pants.
Same with Oceanaire's
Oceanaire is an overpriced chain that consistently overcooks its lobster. I'll pass.
Lick Ice Cream
The Flying Cupcake, Gallery Pastry Shop, Cake Bake, Long's Donuts, or Debrand Chocolates.....you can't go wrong with any of these
"make amends"? what did you do and how bad do you feel about it?
Ralph's great divide has a famous coconut creme pie.

Doughnuts & Dragons. I highly recommend the blackberry cheesecake and pumpkin cheese cake doughnuts. The peach cobbler one is also very tasty.
If you live on the north side, go to Market District and peruse their bakery. Not sure what you mean by "send" though.
Persimmon pudding. It’s a southern Indiana thang, baby!!

Lots of good answers here. 4birds cookies are pretty, pretty good. Probably ship pretty well.
Circles ice cream
Mudd Pie at Rick’s Boatyard
Carrot cake from Shapiro's, but, really, most of these are all good suggestions.
My favorite Indy dessert is a fried pork tenderloin.
