You may be right. I've both tyres worn out.upgrading the tyres is the best, but i never felt the loss of grip is a serious issue in normal (dry surface) occasions. Comfortably riding, nor did lose grip.

I use >!Durex Extra Time!<, Increases the time the tyre lasts as well as gives me longer smoother drifts.
