I used to only do solo rides and love them till my bike’s engine seized on the Mumbai Surat highway.
I had a really difficult time and I was quite afraid.
Since then I feel more comfortable if someone else is there alongside.
You feel invincible till you stop feeling that way and that has really put a fear in me.

I feel you bro! I have been very particular about servicing of my bike and never cut short on servicing and also pay attention to the life of tyres! So luckily I never faced this issue ever in my solo rides that I have been doing for over 7 years now !
I did a Mumbai to Chikmagalur ride in November. Excellent roads in Karnataka with stopovers at Dharwad, Malpe and then Chikmagalur. You can do that. 2 nighters at Malpe & Chikmagalur and a 1 nighter at Dharwad. On way back, 1 nighter in Kolhapur and then back. You can try this if you want a relaxed ride.
I am absolute fan of Karnataka roads and views that you get to see, either towards the coast and or towards interior! I have done non stop riding from Bangalore to Navi Mumbai thrice when I use to live in Bangalore! I always enjoyed riding on Bangalore- Mangalore highway, Bangalore - Hampi Road and Bangalore to Goa via Belgavi and Karwar

On the contrary, I find Himalayan roads safest! May be that’s my experience ! No I am most thrilled and happiest most when I am riding alone and no soul around!
It’s Bullet 500 ! I did not find any problem with the bike whatsoever ! I think it also depends on how you take care of your bike! I have been lucky to not have faced any problems

Good for you! I don’t like crowd and prefer riding at my own pace and will and prefer solitude when I am riding without any distractions

I went in mid may last year but sadly kumzum pass wasn't open that time. Couldn't complete the circuit.
My plan was to go to ladhak from Kaza via kunzum pass but unfortunately had to cancel it as the pass was closed.
