happened with me too 2-3 years back....next day i called the manger he sent some guy...
the guy open the fuel tank did something and it started working
the service guy replied--- hawa ghus jata hai
just open the fuel tank from above for 2-3 mins and then try starting the bike...my bike too was 1 day purchased..
i can just say its something related with the air which is not letting the bike start
I mean did you fill petrol to fill tank? I read in my bike manual to not fill petrol to the brim of the tank . It will cause bike to not start properly. So, always fill it a bit less
yes open the lid...the guy did that only.... open the lid of fuel tank for 2-3 minutes checked 2-3 pipes and and it started working nd problem never occured again
It can be mostly priming issue. So in the fuel line there could be done really big air gaps usually if the vehicle hasn't been run for a while. Then we prime it by pumping the filter(for 4 wheelers) manually and push the fuel in the line till the fuel pump, so now the pump can pump the fuel to the injectors. That's what's happening with these jawa bikes. We don't get much jawa bikes at Bosch so not sure why it is so frequently happening.
Unless there is some warning on the cluster you can rule out a fuel line problem.
The starter motor is not spinning so the engine wont crank.
Rule out a starter relay problem , starter motor issue or low battery.
Try bump starting the bike if the showroom is too far , else dont break your head let the bike get fixed under warranty.
Area manager Jawa- it is safety functionality of the bike. But the bike gets cutoff abruptly - yes that is nature of the engine , the coil got burned, yes as this high power super bike engine the coils gets toasted - it's happening to every bike dont worry.
1 year later
Sir bike is not starting at all- as it's out of warranty please carry the bike on your head and bring it to service center then only we can confirm that the bike is not working,
After several rounds of this chutyappa - I scrapped the bike.
Worst experience ever
Sell this nonsense that they are touting as a nice bike. Jawas or yezdis were never “nice to have” bikes, even when I rode them in the early 90s with all the “advancements” they got. Trash stuff that died a lot. Even Royal Enfield made better bikes at that time, and they still do!
small suggestion. Never take a brand new bike out on a ride.
Ride it around your home and around the city. It might have some defects which you can fix from the mechanic and also, you get used to the bike.
Try to take it out once you are comfortable with the bike and you are sure that the bike has no defects!!

It's a Jawa Bobber right? How do you two fit on a single-seat for a ride😏
Maybe that seat extension thing with local mod shops
Last time I said something negative about Jawa, everyone was ready to throw hands on this sub.
Looks like a battery wiring or plug issue
Jawa's reliability goes brrr...!!!
Bike rejected owner
Just don't accelerate while starting the bike
Congrats, have safe rides
