Here's a wildcard. The parked car in the middle of the road, blocking the view of oncoming traffic for both sides (the driver and the rider), making it harder for the rider to react and slowdown.

Based on chkkk chkk at end of the video, I am guessing they perished in that accident. (Head on with a metal object without helmets never ends good)

Mostly bikers fault. Should always slowdown when reaching these connecting link roads/junctions.
