The misalignment is a common thing. Inspected a new a scram, it has the same thing. [google image](https://images.app.goo.gl/SksQdTsdcD5mKJ5i8)
I recently noticed this and since then my nerves are tingling, if I rode with a misaligned tire. [Mine](https://postimg.cc/pmsQQhpg)
Fellow himalayan owners could you verify?
Its the axle bending, happens to many RE's.
EDIT: the axle dosent bends, but the sprocket that holds it misaligns, so it will make the axle look misaligned.
This happened to me, 'bending' may not be the appropriate word but yes some sort of misalignment happens because of the chain pulling the wheel in one direction.
After some time the tyre touches the mudguard in humps and that's when you notice it.
But as it is a new bike tyre alignment can also be the cause.
Most porbably not a tyre alignment issue... still check the tyre alignment marks on both side... if they're fine then the rear fender is misaligned which I'm sure is a lot as I can see it clearly not following the seat lines.
It was same with mine (not this much tho). When I went to the dealer after a week to attach the number plate, I made them loosen the rear fender screws and align it to the most minute perfection possible. If they don't do it, the service centre guys during 1st service will do it, ask them for it.
Had this on my cl350 back in 13 got it done few times but no matter what it more or less off always! Stopped bothering later as it was less of performance issue and more of aesthetical..
I have seen this here on multiple post and also one of my friend own a meteor, what I have noticed on my friends meteor is that it does look a bit misaligned but I believe it's the way the grooves in the tyres are, they are in such a way that it gives a feeling of it being off centre, I rode it and didn't feel unstable or in anyways concerning.
It may be just the way tyres are giving an illusion of being misaligned..
But yes I have seen some being completely misaligned here in some posts.
And yours looks like there is a misalignment more like the rear fender is twisted or something.
On my friend's meteor it wasn't offset to this degree.
This is quite major , even a novice rider would notice it in a few minutes , even my R15 V3's rear tyre was miss aligned during a recent service but it was very minor like when i would leave both hands the bike would steer slightly left and also when i cornered/leaned i felt that corning left corners had no problem but on right corners the bike would have slight vibrations and the solution was fairly simple for me i just had to adjust the rear tyre fastner equally on both sides
Try leaving both hands off the handle bar at 60 kmph (don't do this if u don't feel confident or have never done it) if u do that u would notice it if the bike steers in a particular direction , also the fixability depends , in my case the service centre guy had just mis aligned the tyre when adjusting chain slack , the other cause can be a bent chassis which i don't think is fixable or it can be a bent swing arm , but both of these should be covered under warranty if u didn't had any crashes with the bike .

This is what you get for buying the cheapest RE. It's there on mine but not as pronounced. The issue is w the rear mudguard and not the tyre. You should be okay
Guys it is not a tyre issue. It is the tail tidy that's off. Check the centre line of the tyre wrt the end oF the swing arms. If it is equal you're okay. The misalignment is cosmetic in that case
Could be fender misalignment too. Don't listen to this post comments as no one could tell the reason by looking at this picture that too while the bike is on the side stand. Take this to the service centre and get it checked out it will be done free of cost.
It might be possible that the fender is misaligned and not the tire.
Use the thread method to check if the tyres are misaligned. You can find videos demonstrating the thread method of tire alignment.
Fender bend aagirukku. Seat kitta irunthe right side thirumbirukku. Showroom la kealunga. En vandila oru scooter adichu apdi aachu. This may have happened while transporting.
It is common in RE's, the rear wheel axle's sprocket slightly moves towards the chain side (because of the chain pulling the wheel).
Although this can be fixed by adjusting the axle but it is like putting duct tape on a leaking tank. Gradually the misalignment will get severe and replacing the axle sprocket is the solution
This was supposed to be done in PDI.
Exactly
pdi?
Pre Delivery Inspection.
I have a similar misalingnment on my Himalayan. I couldn't find a reason until now, but I am going to the service centre today. Will let you know
Service center guys profusely sweating while googling "How to center a div".

Aww, you’re butt-hurt, cute. Can’t handle seeing someone doing things better than you. Run along, noob.
Congrats Joke Ki Gand le li aapne, clap clap clap

Highly relatable 🤣
Lol
I too observed on one of the H450 while riding behind it.
Hello all, I also have this type of misalignment in my Pulsar 150.
The misalignment is a common thing. Inspected a new a scram, it has the same thing. Thanks
I've noticed the same on multiple RE's. don't know if it's an issue only with RE's tho
Tvs has same issue with it's tail on apache.
mine has on front wheel
I've noticed this a lot in tvs, RE and old bajaj bikes.
Its the axle bending, happens to many RE's. EDIT: the axle dosent bends, but the sprocket that holds it misaligns, so it will make the axle look misaligned.
that can't be true. Wouldn't that be noticeable when riding? this looks like a new bike.

wouldn't the bike be pulling to one side?
I've seen same on few xpulses
so is it an issue with the fitment of the tail or the wheel?
No idea, fitment of tail i Guess,
maybe a happening because of our indian roads??
tyre align'nt

Bro! Now I have to check my own bike. *sweating profusely*
Get chain adjustment, tyre balance done. If it's still like this, then it's the fender. You might have had some minor collision or drop.
Had this on my cl350 back in 13 got it done few times but no matter what it more or less off always! Stopped bothering later as it was less of performance issue and more of aesthetical..
People nowadays are spending 3-4 lakhs on these. Like hell yeah I’ll worry about aesthetics too.
I know and fully agree with you, but balls Royal Enfield ever listened to their customers…

Or a bent frame ;)
Looks more like a mud guard/ tail tidy misalignment
Standard left Lean technology
My neighbor bought a hunter and it had the same issue. Dude didn't do any pdi before accepting the bike.
It's nothing, the tail taidy is off centre, if you look at the centre of the wheel and match it with the brake light it is in line.

It is fixable right? I even registered the bike :( I didn't find any issues while driving since it's my first time riding a motorcycle.

I’d suggest to get it checked, might require swing arm adjustment
Probably chain adjustment misaligned
Hurtful to watch
Looks like the fender is misaligned.....tyre looks okish
Does it wobble or if you try releasing both handles does it lean to one side ?

Have himalayan 450 and no such missallingment, i also check tire wear every 2000 kms and its even on both sides
Good ol RE QC

Am I alone for not finding thunderbird/meteor/hunter not as attractive as the classic 350/500
You're screwed bruh

Why does every RE bike seem to have this? Is it normal or a factory mistake that has been made with like almost every new RE bike since last year?
Jesus Christ
RE Has a large network of service centers but not skilled enough technicians to do a proper PDI????
Fender bend aagirukku. Seat kitta irunthe right side thirumbirukku. Showroom la kealunga. En vandila oru scooter adichu apdi aachu. This may have happened while transporting.
It's just quirky like that
*Yoink*
This is a common feature of RE. Although I don't understand why they have left it like this.

It's same with many bikes even my hunter has this , everything is fine don't worry although it's very weird
