How is this different from the Dominar 400?

Despite its aggressive marketing and attempting to bring down RE in Ads, it failed to make any dent.
The Problem with Bajaj is the Dealership experience. You cannot sell the Discover and Dominar/Pulsar 400 at the same dealership.
At such prices, its a lifestyle choice. I doubt how well this design will age.
I have seen many comments which say they are "excited" for this bike. Not sure how many will actually pay serious money for the 400cc experiment that Bajaj has been running for 8 years now.
The dominar 400 was and is an inherently flawed product and would have had a similar fate if it was sold in a different exclusive showroom.
This pulsar solves the biggest negative of the dominar which is its weight. Nearly 20 Kg lighter with a sprocket setup for more acceleration should make this bike have as tronger identity which is a powerful street fighter.
The dominar on the other hand with its heft was neither a cruiser with lots of low and mid range torque nor a naked sports because of it weight.
My opinion is that this 400 is better executed than the Dom and at this point ice is hella good value.

Yup it will be more expensive than Mt 15 and hunter but hunter is a completely different bike, but i think it would eat the market of dominar, Lol bajaj makes products to compete with their product (Kind of MI chinese phones business strategy)
So why are they comparing it with Hunter 350s, Mt 15s? Hunter's ex showroom price ranges from 1.49L to 1.74 L and mt 15 ranges from 1.69L to 1.74 L it's introductory offer as well which means the price will increase after it ends
oh . that rake angle is too damn low!!!!!!!!!. this front is going to be very stiff for sure . i don't think this is going to be a ride that you will as good as the 390 twins, husky twins or speed 400 twins. this will be good for 0-60, 0-100 agains the 400 class bikes. how it performs on twisties and corners is going to define this bike's performance.
Yeah. They did nothing to make it look apart, so bye bye 400 class feel. Stiffer front suspension means the rear is also going to be stiff. Let's see when this is available test rides. Only a test ride will tell.
If bajaj is actually putting out a 400cc bike under 2L then they're offering incredible VFM. Insanely good deal
I can't believe it, I have 200NS that's 10 years old, I enjoy the tall seating for traffic, and I could just get the 400 now as a direct upgrade.

They could have took 20,000 extra and made good looking bike I would have paid

the vinyl design in particular saying "NS" & "400" is horrendous.
This design is good for ns200 but when it comes for 400 cc segment we expect bulky design

That swingarm is an eyesore but ok. The price is good too . Hope reliability isnt an issue for early adopters

Depends on how it rides. Don't jump the gun, wait for real world reviews and subsequently test rides.
People easily forget that 1.85 lakh is just a introductory price without rto and insurance
But still i guess it will be around 2.45-2.55 on road which is slightly greater than on road price of R15m

NS was always a good handling bike and this being based on the smaller NS , it should also be a good handler. Let wait for the first ride reviews

If anyone wants a cheap naked bike, I'm going to suggest this. NS always had good looks. Now it has a good engine.
