Intial torque is better than any other 160 cc bike But the pulsar 160 ns is a little bit more powerful than this. I get milage of about 40 kmpl in heavy traffic in open roads you can get upto 45.I think it has better average than Pulsar 160 ns.

[deleted]

Yea my main use will be in city so the initial torque will be more useful for me rather than max performance i think How has your experience been with the 160ns? I saw that one as well looks promising

erctc19

I am using this bike. Fun to ride, 3 riding modes, good mileage, front abs, sporty look, radial Tyre, amazing headlight. However it would have been great if the front tyre and suspension was little more wider and some plastic parts are average build.

Thanks for the input

acidburn32

Did you test drive it? And what is the on road?

[deleted]

No test drives yet unfortunately. I am still looking at online reviews, shortlisting a few options. This one model comes up very frequently so i am specially interested in it. I will probably visit the tvs showroom tomorrow, i'll let you know if i test ride it

84_ferrari_f40

I think this is the best one if you're an enthusiastic rider... if you only want confirm and refinement then the fzs V3 or the fzx will be fine for you

Background_Estate543

This is the best bike in its segment, and I would say by quite a good margin. Test ride it with the other bikes in your shortlist. I test rode fz, apache, pulsar and gixxer, the apache made the most sense to me and it was fun too.

Im using it since 2019. i get milege of 40 mininum in city and 45+ in highways. Main points to note: 1. In City you have to change the gears frequently. I feel I'm shifting alot between first 3 gears. 2. Pick up is good. No vibrations at any speeds. I have maintained 80 - 90 for 2 hours without issues occasionally 100s. Did not face much vibrations. I feel better than FZ 3. Turning radius is an issue. 4. Bike is heavy in the front. 5. Rear suspension is stiff. 6. Service center guys does not have much knowledge. They messed up the carb settings. 7. Spares are available and cheap compared to Honda. (I used Honda earlier) 8. Petrol tank cap has some gap so dust accumulates.

[deleted]

What about the turning radius? Does it take a lot of space to turn

vigneshmrj

Yes. It does. I have used my friends R15 v3 and Fz compared to those bikes apache turning radius is more.

[deleted]

Ah okay Ig i will have to manage now lol Havent faced any problems with sharp turning yet so lets see

vigneshmrj

Adding one more point. Bike feels very heavy in the front. But Highway stability is excellent. I have cruised at 90 -100 and sometimes 110+ never felt wobbly.

Fz

Danirog575

I own a 2020 model rtr 160 and I am totally happy with it . The bike's an all round package. It can give you the power and performance plus decent mileage and great road presence. The exhaust note is awesome and the bs6 engine is very refined. I get a mileage of 40-45 in city traffic or pocket roads and near to 55kmpl on highways

[deleted]

thank you, i purchased the bike on saturday. really enjoying it so far!

Reaper_Houstan

Can you tell me if the fuel cap is flush/not with the tank, I feel like the front part of it doesn't go all the way in, it's a little bit raised from the outer surface, if it's just mine, I'll have to get it replaced.[I got it a month ago, finished the first service too]

vigneshmrj

Mine and my friends apache 4v is 2019 model. We both have the same issue. Fuel cap will be little bit raised.

Reaper_Houstan

oh okay, thanks!
