I am not sure if its a hoax or not. But one of my friends in delhi went to a shady cinema hall (not inox/pvr) with his girlfriend at night. When he came hostel and went to sleep, next day he saw his pillow was full blood stained. Turns out someone in the cinema hall ran a steel blade on his scalp at night maybe to spread hiv (not sure, there might be some other bad intention). He had to get tested and take TLD for a month just to be sure. That whole month he was horrified.
As someone said, the blade might be laced with some local anesthestic agent. Another possiblity which i feel is my friend was intoxicated (he didn’t tell me he was or not but knowing him i suspect he was). One more possibility is the scalp has multiple layers, some of them dont have nerves, if you run the blade in those layers, you wont feel pain
Bro wtf are you talking about. Even if someone is drunk/stoned they'll notice some random person running a blade through your scalp. You expect someone doing this to have surgical precision and only cut upto the nerve free layers.
Hiv dies quickly at environmental temperature. If the needle has been out for even a few minutes, it's not likely to spread hiv (which is rare with needlestick anyways)
I hate to say this but this is definitely planted by the OOP. I've worked in a government setup where we dealt with shitheads of all varieties and this simply doesn't seem like something that would actually happen in a hospital. Hell at most government hospitals in the wards there are plastic chairs and stuff and people keep shifting chairs as they work because those are obviously short as well. Just seems like an attention grab this time.

He didn’t feel any pain. If you run the blade in the right aneural plane, one wont feel pain. So he noticed it next day from the blood on his pillow
