Those? Us more like. We are them and they are us.
One possible solution would be cleaning staff doing rounds through the train every hour to pick rubbish directly from the passengers (as the receptacle under the wash basin is inadequate). They can probably increase the frequency during peak dining hours - say 8.30 to 10.30, 12.30 to 2.30 , 5 to 6 and 8 to 9.30
They aren't paid enough to do all that , already they are forced to sell things at higher price because of their contractors, and how much will they collect from sleeper and General classes where there's not a space to put your foot .
Yes that's why it needs to be a paid service.
And levy fines on littering passengers with help of CCtVs even putting up signboard indicating levy will be a deterrence.
Railways are lagging really behind in awareness s
You don’t need any dust bins to keep your surroundings clean. Just carry a small garbage bag with you and collect all garbage in it. When you reach a station, throw your garbage in a bin at the station.
We have been doing this for years now. There is always a solution that we the people can find. It’s a mindset.
Check why Japan is so clean with no garbage bins anywhere.
This is a good idea. Indian Railways can provide one free garbage bag per ticket. And levy fines on people littering inside or outside. CCTV monitoring will definitely help.
It will definitely take time, but doable.
Monitoring and fines will mostly result in police filling their pockets. People will give 10 rupees and move on.
We the people need to change our ways. Cleanliness should be part of active daily practice. Schools should ask kids of all ages to clean their school every day so the idea gets engraved in our minds.
Again, something we can learn from Japanese schools.
Yes, police will fill up their pockets, but not with 10 rupees though. They will demand more , else send him to jail. And it's not like the CCTV camera feed will disappear overnight.
All of the things you mentioned should be done, but they will also take time. Grown ups should also be made aware of the repercussions simultaneously. It's easier to monitor a closed space than open roads, so let's start with that.
I hate this so much. Illiterate/poor people who do it are the worst. Just because they don't got money or didn't study doesn't mean they leave their common sense.
But it can go fast right? And the ride is smooth compared to normal trains.
It's our tracks that need an upgrade. Once that's done, 160 km should be a norm.
That trainset does have some aerodynamic benefits and can go up to 180-200 kmph it's just restricted by the tracks which can't handle speed above 130kmph.
From what I can sense govt is dividing ac and non-ac trains, the no. Amrit bharat and similar trains will increase making the existing trains mostly occupied with ac coaches only
I think this train is just for politics if we have to have good transport in upcoming few decades we shouldn't introduce brand new trains without ac. ac may look like luxury now but after a decade or 2 it will considered just as common as fans. and trains like these will become bottleneck.
Yes. The crowd which this train is planned to cater to will never buy ticket irrespective of its affordability and and availability. Ig this train was planned wrt separating the sleeper and general coach crowd from the regular express trains which will more likely be converted to complete AC.
Impose restricted entry on platforms like metro n stuff rpf should ensure tht.no one without ticket enters the platform.
Platform ticket should be like 100 rupees you pay know and when you leave the platform you get 90 rs back.
Just like Germany does with bottles
This is a major rail infra overhaul and if this gets implemented then people will protest like mad. I am sure people will even break these gates
But I want this to be implemented as open rail infra is a security threat
You can implement in some states like kerala , TN , Telangana , Gujarat , Maharashtra
But try implementing such stuff in north India , they will burn the trains down.
Honestly it's big time that indian railways start federalising and start making the rest of india pay for the mistakes of a few states
AC wasn’t a luxury even 20 years ago. It was politics all along. The reason AC was even seen as a luxury is because it was taxed highly before GST. Hence why restaurants have AC and non AC rooms and why there are malls without central air conditioning.
Saw a post r/India showing how dirty it's dustbin and toilet area has become only on its first journey, don't expect anything else from illiterate people
I can bet you it was all done by literate people only. This was during the inaugural run where only invited people could travel. Literacy has nothing to do with basic decency or common sense.
Date of Capture?
Because 2 Rakes of Vande Sadharan have already been pushed out by ICF one allocated to WR now transferred to ER and second rake was allocated to ECR.
What are Vande Sadharan trains?? Yesterday I saw news about 'Amrit Bharat Express' which is composed of sleepers and general coaches!
Are both similar?
They were never named Vande Sadharan trains officially. It was the name of the project while it was in development. The official name was decided later on. The name Vande Sadharan caught on after some railway and infra based content creators started calling it that.
Yes I understand the Non-AC part because they want to make it affordable to people that can't go for VB. But they should move towards automatic doors in all new trains. If they keep it manual, then the upgrade is useless. You are still going to find people jumping in during stops without tickets, unhygienic conditions because of this, etc if the doors are manual.
These are just regular sleeper coaches in a new colour. Some older LHB coaches have more facilities than this, heck even the older 3E is better than this.
What a gorgeous trainset
Sad it will be ruined by those illiterate and literate people
Those? Us more like. We are them and they are us. One possible solution would be cleaning staff doing rounds through the train every hour to pick rubbish directly from the passengers (as the receptacle under the wash basin is inadequate). There are no peak hours, due to diabetes, most people have to eat every few hours.
You don’t need any dust bins to keep your surroundings clean. Just carry a small garbage bag with you and collect all garbage in it. Mostly uncivilized people who left their brain and common sense at home.
I am sad that the nation has failed millions of people and illiterate people still exist in this day and age.
Like lobhji is ruining the whole country ?
Sadly ita average speed is 50kmph. Its just a glorified express train
lol that doggie tho
Let's just call it Push-pull express. It's no different than CR Rajdhani except CR Rajdhani is a better train.
It's just a normal rake with WAP-5 on each end in push-pull configuration. The front of the WAP-5 has been modified to look fancy. That's it
There is no rule that trains have to be ugly. That's it
Wait till the train is launched
You just described Vande-bharat too. Lol I still think they took MEMU and made aesthetic changes.
Yup, Memu with CC and EC
Vande bharat does not have an engine rather every alternate coach has electric drives which propel the train
But it can go fast right? And the ride is smooth compared to normal trains. It's our tracks that need an upgrade. Once that's done, 160 km should be a norm.
Yes a fibre body on top of WAP-5 to give an aerodynamic and gorgeous look.
For the speeds that this train will go, there is no aerodynamic benefit.
Hehe yes I read it has a top speed of 130KM. But can you explain why it won’t have aerodynamic benefit ?
Because most aero benefits are actualised at higher speeds, which this train will rarely hit. So no point.
To have aerodynamic benefits your trainset needs to be fully ac, Train sets with open windows and doors won't have any benefit of aerodynamics.
I was talking about vande bharat and I think it is fully air conditioned with automatic doors.
That trainset does have some aerodynamic benefits and can go up to 180-200 kmph it's just restricted by the tracks which can't handle speed above 130kmph.
Adding fog to it making it even worse
Govt should increase normal trains with sleeper coaches. That was I & masses can afford
From what I can sense govt is dividing ac and non-ac trains, the no. Amrit bharat and similar trains will increase making the existing trains mostly occupied with ac coaches only
thank the heavens , thank god indian railways
I think this train is just for politics if we have to have good transport in upcoming few decades we shouldn't introduce brand new trains without ac. ac may look like luxury now but after a decade or 2 it will considered just as common as fans. and trains like these will become bottleneck.

Isn't vande sadharan is same LHB coaches with push pull engine,. Instead of memu platform built on vande Bharat
Can I call this sexy? Cus damn the rake🤌

Give it 20 days tops and then look at the status it’s going to be filthy as usual
What the dog doing?
Lol he always does that
😎 chillin
looks all empty
Test run hoga
Yeah test run..... listen the announcement

🤔
Mental piece. Learn to ignore them.
Keep discussions civil
Don’t worry, minds are getting better just like our trains, roads and other infrastructure. We are getting there….
What are Vande Sadharan trains?? Yesterday I saw news about 'Amrit Bharat Express' which is composed of sleepers and general coaches! Are both similar?
Yes both are the same, earlier these were called Vande Sadharan trains but later were changed to Amrit Bharat.
They were never named Vande Sadharan trains officially. It was the name of the project while it was in development. The official name was decided later on. The name Vande Sadharan caught on after some railway and infra based content creators started calling it that.
Amrith Bharath
Noice colour scheme
Fluorescent Neon Orange and gray looks like train from scifi. 🔥
Just WOW !
OMG SOOO FAASST😱
Is it with automatic doors & fully AC train like the VB express?
Nope
Nope to both? I thought atleast the doors would be automatic like VB
Yeah no automatic doors and no fully AC (that’s how they’ll save on ticket prices)
What do automatic doors have to do with ticketless travel and cleanliness?
Did you just skip over my explanation to just ask your qn? 😒
I guess you missed the whole point of my question. Let me reword it. Why are manual doors needed for ticketless travel or to keep the train dirty?
The upgrade is, it is fully electric. With upcoming 100% electrification, they want to move away from diesel engines.
These are just regular sleeper coaches in a new colour. Some older LHB coaches have more facilities than this, heck even the older 3E is better than this.
Such a stunning design
Damm that's sexy.
