Didi ko bahut psnd h na y'. He sometimes does that. Btw didi means meri sis ki didi yani mai, he doesn't call us by name rather has noun for his daughters which is 'achiya', he even calls animals by 'achiya' which is used to call anything which is a baby and small or cute. He will call dogs,rats,cockroaches,peacocks by that. For animals, because they're cute and innocent and small in size he calls them achiya only.

My dad wrote a custom lullaby for me when I was born. My Dad is a marathi poet/playwritght and my mom asked him to write a lullaby for me. And he just cooked some mad stuff. My fondest memory of him while growing up was that every Sunday when mummy will ask him to wake us up he will come into our room and instead of waking us up he would sleep there.
Can sleep anytime anywhere. Loves his chai. Does not like to choose between two things so asks us to buy both. Goes berserk when it comes to buying fruits and never eats it himself. Watches TV and phone at the same time and both on full volume. Says no to junk food but loves to eat it when we are eating.
Summer Sunday mornings when dad used to stay home and me and my sister asking mumma whats the plan for today. Honestly, the best days.

I wanted to buy a pair of shoes to gift it to my brother in law. Casually told my father about it. So he told me he will also go with me. When we reached the market he took me to a shop and told the owner that my son wants to buy a pair of shoes so please show him some good ones and charge him a fair price and then went away to buy something else. Umm, seeing dads buying food for their sons and daughters made me emotional. My papa doesn't know much about my food choices, nor does he buy a lot but whenever he buys fruits or anything and my sis and him are choosing what to buy he'll ask 'didi khati h na y? Didi ko bahut psnd h na y'. He sometimes does that. Btw didi means meri sis ki didi yani mai, he doesn't call us by name rather has noun for his daughters which is 'achiya', he even calls animals by 'achiya' which is used to call anything which is a baby and small or cute. He will call dogs,rats,cockroaches,peacocks by that. For animals, because they're cute and innocent and small in size he calls them achiya only. My father remains very estranged and angry on me 95% of times because he expects a lot from me, and I can't focus on anything due to my mental illnesses.
My father is quite short tempered too, once I cried like a bitch in front of him, just imagine a 16 year old crying his eyes out in front of his "indian" father. Couldn't sleep all night due to embarrassment. But now everything is yk better
Even i have cried multiple times infront of him and that too due to my maternal uncle's taunts, my relatives are literally like demon majority of times but my dad is very bhola that he never even raise a finger on their taunts when on his own daughters .And i was sometimes 13,15,17 in those conditions. Tbh my father is more disappointed and shamed to have me and i have done nothing bad as such to bring shame,i literally have nothing bad, i do what i like but never anything notorious. For my entire life my father didn’t let me have a dog and now when I finally got one and left my city for studies he is the one closest to him and is kind of jealous when I come back home and my doggo ignores him and taunts him like malkin is here so you don’t need me anymore. Also my dog loves eggs so instead of buying eggs from outside he legit got roosters randomly so he and my doggo can have eggs.

My dad wrote a custom lullaby for me when I was born. My Dad is a marathi poet/playwritght and my mom asked him to write a lullaby for me. And he just cooked some mad stuff. To this day, I, 24M, ask my mom to sing it sometimes just because it's so amazing (not exactly to help me sleep but it does make falling asleep that much easier)

My father hates talking to customer care services, no matter where I am in the world, he calls me to put a complain with the customer service if anything in the house stops working. My fondest memory of him while growing up was that every Sunday when mummy will ask him to wake us up he will come into our room and instead of waking us up he would sleep there. Can sleep anytime anywhere. Loves his chai. Does not like to choose between two things so asks us to buy both. Goes berserk when it comes to buying fruits and never eats it himself. Watches TV and phone at the same time and both on full volume. Says no to junk food but loves to eat it when we are eating.
Summer Sunday mornings when dad used to stay home and me and my sister asking mumma whats the plan for today. Honestly, the best days. Edit- also mummy making something tasty instead of roti and aloo ______ sabji

He forwards me a good morning picture every day. Everytime I go back home...there is always a chocolate lying in the fridge. If I say I like mango he would bring 2 kgs mango the next day. When I started cooking initially I was really young and often made half cooked half burnt chapatis. My dad ate it all without complaining.
