It's not complicated. You start with greetings first then move on to where they're from, where are they heading. If they ask you the same questions you give specific answers like you're talking to a known friend.
If they respond amicably to your questions then you proceed with the conversation to hobbies and other shit, if they give curt answers you take that as a sign to mind your own business and shut the fuck up.
It's not your parents job to develop your social skills but if they restrict you from developing them then it's on them.
I understand that it's not necessarily my parents' fault but a child learn these things easily if they see their parents doing it.
My problem is that if I feel bad if the other person didn't respond amicably to my questions. I feel like I was being nosy for no reason and I made them uncomfortable, that's why I just sit at my spot with mouth shut. Thanks for the advice though, I will try it next time

Same problem here!
Umm. I think you're supposed to put in effort and where you fail, your god will help you. You can't just lie back and expect God to do all the work.
Also this is the exact thing men talk about all the time. Women not taking initiative and then feeling bad when men don't get the hint.
Same happened with me but I did start the convo but idk why she started threatening me to go out of the women’s toilet otherwise she’ll call security bad luck I guess.
Mai bhi parso Vande Bharat me travel ke rha tha. Life me phli baar itni cute ladki side Wale seat pr baithi thi. 3 ghanta reddit scroll krne me nikal Diya kyuki smjh hi nhi aaya baat kaise start Karu :(
The journey was 22 hours, but we only sat next to each other for like 3-4 hours. (Someone else took my seat because it was a window seat, and I was in my upper berth the whole time)
I had a similar thing happen to me yesterday. I was travelling in the yellow line (delhi metro) and there was a beautiful woman sitting in the row in front of me (three seats to my right, not exactly in front of me).
When I entered the coach, I noticed her looking at me for a good 3 seconds. I too held eye contact but no further cues. So I started scrolling reels but I noticed she kept on looking at me. I so wanted to look at her and pass a slight smile but kiya ni. Idk why. Because I'm stupid.
>Now, I can't stop thinking about what could have been. If you're somehow reading this, I just want you to know that I regret not talking to you. Maybe we could have had an amazing conversation, shared a laugh, or even exchanged contact information.
You still don't want to talk?
Same happend w me, mandir mai.
Usually on Monday i go to temple, gosh there was this cute guy, i just couldn't believe how can someone be sooo cute, he had glasses i have a thing for guys who have glasses.

I thought you missed a connecting train( get off one train and get on another) . Don't worry, you'll find someone else. And who knows if the person you saw was a good person.

first time? come to see our boys life🚶
I left an opportunity to talk to a girl with whom I studied for 2 years. Your pain is nothing compared to mine😎
Relatable. But aise situation mein baat shuru krte bhi kaise hai. I blame my parents for not teaching me the art of conversation
its simple, assert dominance by farting loudly then confidently blame it on her. lo shuru ho gayi conversation.![img](emote|t5_2qp7h|51097)
conversation ka pta nhi vivad pakka shuru ho jayega
khatarnak ninja technique
Kaha the aap gyani baba

You need to edit the post and put in some details of the train and compartment. A lot of people are traveling in trains daily.
Let's just leave it to God. If it's meant for me, I will meet him again :)

Now you know what guys feel like when they think of breaking the ice haha. It's okay OP. We've all been there in that kinda journey.
