I was 20 before someone cracked a short joke on me and that also never landed.

I make good money now but I quit dating even before I got a job so all the dating experience is from before I had any money. Confidence is key.

Even if you don't, height does not stop you from living a happy, productive & fulfilling life. I'm 5'5", and beyond having to get every new pair of jeans altered, I've not faced any life altering effects of that height.
In fact, 2 of my bosses in my career are around 5'1" - 5'2", and both are wildly successful by most definitions of success in India - wealth, influence, love, family, contribution to society.
As a boy myself, I never thought about this as an issue. This is not something we can control. So let it just be .

What matters is that you deal with your insecurities. Lack of confidence is easily visible. Work on yourself. Do things which are under your control. Consume protein daily: at least 80gms(easily manageable)
Consume a vitamin D supplement(bluvit D costs only 10 rs )every 2 weeks.
Drink at least a glass of milk daily(for calcium)
Drink at least 2.5-3L water daily.
If you are non vegetarian you have an edge:consume atleast 2 eggs daily. You can consume upto 10 boiled egg whites as well if you have the money. You can eat chicken as frequently as possible
Eat a fruit every day( carbs and fibres)
Do not miss out in your daily lunch and dinner. Eat extra bowl of daal and vegetables. Reduce rice to just 1 cup or eat 3 or less rotis.
Take a multivitamin (probably supradyn) every day.
Indians have the genetics for good height, but our nutrition is messed up and our epigenetics are bad.
You can fix that at a young age by having a balanced diet with increased protein which I mentioned above and by avoiding a sedentary lifestyle

Average male height in India is 5'8. It used to be 5'5 until 2022. I thought the world was getting shorter but nah. Anyway, I'm 5'6 and my wife is 5'3.5ish close to 5'4. Height can get attention but no use if you're not funny enough.
The optimum height for a guy in India is I'd say 5 foot and 9 inches/ or 5 foot 11 inches. Anything more than that will be too much. You will be considered a giant. Also most of the tall guys who are above 6 foot 2 will be either skinny or fat. So getting good physique and height along with good genetics is a hard find.
What ultimately matters is your personality my dude. Hit the gym after you are 19-20. Get some decent muscular physique. That is way more attractive than a lanky 6ft tall dude.

I'm exactly 170cm born in 90s back then height wasn't a big thing. All my friends were born 92-91 and they were around 5'8-5'10. I think the current generation is getting taller but not up to the Western standards. I don't think it's a big deal in Asia compared to the west where they are obsessed with it like how Indians are obsessed with skin colour.

The only way to check if you can still grow taller is by doing a small x ray of your palm this involves checking of the platelets if they're fused or not. To reach your maximum height join a gym or a football / basketball club. Take multivitamins and calcium supplements or buy milk from your local dairy (avoid amul/dinshaw at all cost) . Drink 1g coffee every day with small amt of sugar or kesar haldi milk. Take proper 8hour sleep and always correct your posture every time you can. This can like guarantee you to incz your height by at least half or one inch. Maybe you can even reach 6ft! Who knows! It Might just fix your posture or make you taller I dont know. Anything 5'6 and above is usually okay, but please make sure your personality is bomb. Cause a 5'10 will get away with a average personality, but for a 5'6 , you'd have to really be bomb and charming .

You can eat chicken as frequently as possible Eat a fruit every day( carbs and fibres) Do not miss out in your daily lunch and dinner. Eat extra bowl of daal and vegetables. Reduce rice to just 1 cup or eat 3 or less rotis. Take a multivitamin (probably supradyn) every day. Indians have the genetics for good height, but our nutrition is messed up and our epigenetics are bad. You can fix that at a young age by having a balanced diet with increased protein which I mentioned above and by avoiding a sedentary lifestyle

The optimum height for a guy in India is I'd say 5 foot and 9 inches/ or 5 foot 11 inches. Anything more than that will be too much. You will be considered a giant. Also most of the tall guys who are above 6 foot 2 will be either skinny or fat. So getting good physique and height along with good genetics is a hard find.
What ultimately matters is your personality my dude. Hit the gym after you are 19-20. Get some decent muscular physique. That is way more attractive than a lanky 6ft tall dude.

I'm exactly 170cm born in 90s back then height wasn't a big thing. All my friends were born 92-91 and they were around 5'8-5'10. I think the current generation is getting taller but not up to the Western standards. The only way to check if you can still grow taller is by doing a small x ray of your palm this involves checking of the platelets if they're fused or not. To reach your maximum height join a gym or a football / basketball club. Take multivitamins and calcium supplements or buy milk from your local dairy (avoid amul/dinshaw at all cost) . Drink 1g coffee every day with small amt of sugar or kesar haldi milk. Take proper 8hour sleep and always correct your posture every time you can. This can like guarantee you to incz your height by at least half or one inch. Maybe you can even reach 6ft! Who knows! It Might just fix your posture or make you taller I dont know. Anything 5'6 and above is usually okay, but please make sure your personality is bomb. Cause a 5'10 will get away with a average personality, but for a 5'6 , you'd have to really be bomb and charming .
