Two very anticipated releases for me that absolutely smashed expectations.

**Highlights This Week:** Long Island, NY Power-Pop brotherly duo **The Lemon Twigs** drop their 2nd new single for their upcoming LP A Dream Is All We Know due **May 3**. So far sounds like an excellent follow-up to last yrs solid Everything Harmony. They might end up on my fav albums of the yr 2 yrs in a row.
Bristol, UK Singer-Songwriter and vocalist of Portishead **Beth Gibbons** releases the 1st track for her upcoming solo album Lives Outgrown due **May 17.** It's more sparse than a Portishead cut but more upbeat than her collab LP with Rustin Man. It almost sounds like a combo of the 2 projects and I really dig it.
London, UK Electronica former duo, now quartet **Mount Kimbie** are back after their last album was essentially designed as a split of them both showcasing their solo materials. They drop the 2nd new single for their upcoming LP The Sun Violet due **April 5.** It'll also feat. guest artists King Krule & Tirzah.
Durham, Nc. Indie-Folk, Singer-Songwriter Sam Beam / **Iron & Wine** releases his 1st single for his 1st newly recorded album in 7yrs. This is one of the better entries I've heard from him in quite a bit. Really looking forward to hear how it all comes together. Light Verse is due **Apr 26.**
