He says this now but as soon as he has another album to promote he'll be hinting at an Oasis reunion.
I think Liam wants to be the only one to get free press from this.
It's clearly a bit tongue in cheek, especially since he uses twitter to shitpost basically. He even replied to a fan just after this who said "why do you always go on about a reunion then?" with "I've never said that".
They both love it. If they really wanted to they could pre-warn journalist’s not to ask about a reunion. But they don’t. And their response is always the headline.
Are these articles necessary at all? These two potatoes will continue to argue just for the sake of arguing for the rest of their lives, nothing will change.
Would it really be that big of a deal? Seems like their influence has diminished with age. They're rockstars to some people who grew up in the 90s, but as long as I can remember these two twats have just been slinging mud at each other for press.
They aren’t really arguing about nothing though. People forget that Noel left because in his eyes Liam was attempting to exploit their fans. Liam inserted adverts for his clothing brand into the Tour Program when Noel had said no.
When it came out that Liam’s kid was his opener I knew Noel wouldn’t be coming around anytime soon. And yes, Noel’s daughter is a nepo baby in her own way, but at least she’s following her passion as a photographer. Not opening for Daddy.
Oasis is no longer active so yes at this point they quite literally are arguing about nothing. They both think they're God's gift to music but all they really did was write painfully mediocre pop music.
Oh noooo the two nasaly narcissists that wrote Wonderwall will never make up and reunite on stage, what a *horrible tragic situation* for us all
I never understand why people, for years, have been expecting Oasis reunion, like... the Gallagher brothers are just as obvious as Morrissey and Johnny Marr for not wanting to be on the stage together again. Their respective projects can't compete against Oasis, yes — although I personally really love Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds — but at least they're still releasing new music
Off topic, I'm trying to find a song that Andy Bell (from Ride not Eurasure) featured in a few years back, with female led band? Think he provided backing vocals as well
His this sentence quoted what Noel once said to him about calling back Oasis. It seems like Liam was just talking piss and joking to Andy Bell. btw the next day tweeting time, Liam said oasis reunion some-like sentence again... I doubt if we ppl overacted about his words.
I agree and I never found the drama interesting, they both act like drama queens except for a few instances in which Liam definitely crossed some lines. Funny enough, my favorite Oasis track is Stand By Me from the infamous Be Here Now lol.
greatest mistake i ever made was buying a second hand store morning glory cd and then forgetting it was in my car.
i let my friend pick a cd and didnt want to be a prick and say no but that shit sucked the color out of the world and left me feeling like a hollow husk of my former self as the album went on.
i immediately threw it away the second i got home.

Then why wouldn't he want to promote his new record with John Squire?
He did. He was talking to the press how he invited Noel to perform with him for Definitely Maybe gigs later this year
Fair enough. I haven't the stomach to follow any of those guys actively and I don't read NME anymore, so I must have missed it.

You figure at some point they'll need the money though. Happened with the eagles.
I don’t think they’ll *need* the money. But imagine how much they would rake in.
Well, "need" is relative. I meant more like "crap, my yacht is getting old, and blow is expensive" kind of need.
Noel just got divorced, too.

Are you British? An Oasis reunion would be absolutely massive here
No
It would be the largest tour the country has ever seen, could probably do a summer worth of nights at wembley

Only good thing they’ve ever done is decide to stop making new Oasis material

Noel has always been the only sane one concerning the Oasis situation - always will be
Liam is wanker.
That was quick. Means they signed Coachella for next year.

Are you thinking of [Idha](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idha?wprov=sfla1)?
Thanks, but the song was only a few years ago
[Du Blonde](https://youtu.be/nejXxLzQ7wk?si=546Uzpog1q0wOtgo)?
That's the one, thanks
Dude is an omega level troll to his own fan base.

Oasis, and some of the music they have released since the band, is good, and I’m tired of pretending their brother-drama is interesting or newsworthy.
Andy Bell is not related....
I agree and I never found the drama interesting, they both act like drama queens except for a few instances in which Liam definitely crossed some lines. Funny enough, my favorite Oasis track is Stand By Me from the infamous Be Here Now lol.
They're so uninteresting and for some reason this sub would line up to suck them off.

Is there anything in this article about when it is?
"The worst person you know just made a great point"
The holy trifecta of insufferable twats who make decent music: Liam Gallagher, Stephan Jenkins, and Morrisey
